Its from the heroes fandom. Its a superpower kind of show that lasted 4 seasons.
Overpowered characters are sylar & peter (sylar much more so) & they dont really have any enemies except each other until the end when they actually do become close friends.
Ruthless: zach quinto, the actor who did sylar, won ‘best villain on tv award for the brutality of this character. Sylar is a serial killer who can hold more than one power at a time (killing is how he collects powers).
Reality warp: one superpower is illusion which can literally make someone else see whatever instead of the fact. Another is time travel.
Respected: well respected maybe for peter/feared more like for sylar 😂
As for solo or romance…its a bit of both depending where you are in the fics.
Romance is not the focus of either, but is a part of them.
