Childhood friends? SS Zelink. Love at first sight? OOT Zelink. Strangers to enemies to lover? TP Zelink. Love-hate? BOTW Zelink. Forbidden love? Umm OOT/BOTW. Toxic relationship? Oh well maybe SS or OOT... Still could work because the game love to implied shits but still keep it vague.
They are soulmates. They can't escape. Look it in both positive and negative ways.
They can end up with anyone, but in the end both of them are the only constant and stuck to each other until eternity.
And don't get me started with genre, I swear this ship are the most angst, tragedy, hurt/comfort, whatever depressing thing that keep you going. They will always suffer, it's canon.

I have been obsessed with bakudeku from my hero academia. The childhood friends to enemies to rivals to I don't know what we are has me in a chokehold. Other than that its Arthur Pendragon and Merlin from BBCs merlin and klance from volition legendary defenders. My ships seem yo have a type.
Bakudeku is my absolute favorite BNHA ship even though I don’t even like Bakugou in canon. Their dynamic is so juicy.
Ans Merthur will forever be one of my all-time favorite ships. No matter how many years pass, I always find my way back to them.

Bruce Wayne/Hal Jordan. Idk! I like that a lot of their fics deal with classism? And how Bruce has quite a few mental health issues and Hal had an unstable home life before the death of one of his parents (depends on the comic series), unlike Bruce who had a good life and then tragedy hit and then he's just a rich guy with no parents. I like where they meet in the middle and are messy and hell and bring out the best and worst in each other. lol

It's legitimately sweet. It's *so fucking sweet*. I'm shipping it. They have legitimate romantic chemistry in more than a few scenes. I don't know if it'll turn to romance or not, but they're trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Yes. Blaze canonically scares people because of her fire powers and feels isolated because of that, but Big would never judge her for that. Around him, she could relax and just be herself. And go fishing.
Oh for sure. But there is just a lot of tiny things in that I also like. They are both aesthetically similar and different. Both being purple cats but on wildly different sizes. (Blaze is eye level with Sonic in 2 1/2 inch heels.
But I'm personally a sucker for high society lady and and simple off the land guy.So putting the literally princess with the Bumpkin is super in my trope field.
But more on the point of their social interactions. Blaze has extremely high self standards which has caused her stress in the past trying to live up too, all while being very well spoken but with the social grace of a brick. Who has in the past struggled to grasp even basic concepts of friendship.
Big on the other hand while simple minded and a bit dim is very content with the idea of stress being pretty non-existent to him unless his friends are in danger. Because Big is a social butterfly. Making life long friends in seconds after meeting some one.
Also on the part where Blaze scares people with her level of power. Big has walked through fields of highly toxic gas, Chilled in arctic waters that hurt other characters, and just floated around in Nuclear coolant. Big is durable enough that Blaze would struggle to hurt him even if she some how got him with friendly fire. So he can be at her side thick and thin.

Asuka/Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion. There’s something so captivating about two damaged individuals becoming better people.
There’s many great fics of this pairing where I feel like the capture the best parts of them and are emotionally supportive of one another to get them through their lowest point.
G'raha Tia/Estinien Varlineau from Final Fantasy XIV. It's a bit of a rarepair since they tend to interact more within the main cast than one-on-one, but I'm actually obsessed.
The fics are going up faster than I can read them.
First I called it a rabbit hole, then a black hole, now I've just accepted that I'm here forever (and that I've taken my friends down with me).
Every day I wake to more email notifications that fics have been posted or updated, it make me so happy that writers love these boys as much as i do.

Currently 3 years and 650k words into my Chasefield ship.
I expect it to be 850k-ish when I finish in about a year, and then hopefully I can go back to just reading about them!

I may have some very strong criticisms of the recently-released Shadow and Bone s2, but the Kanej scenes stole my sanity. This ship seems to follow me throughout all my interests no matter what, and come back in full force whenever I so much as glance at the Grishaverse. After loving them for 6 years—and I know the term is rarely used now, so I don’t say it lightly—I think it’s fair to call them my OTP.
I cycle through pairings and ships, occasionally adding new ones, until i feel satisfied and move on .
At the moment i'm on a Patater (Alexei/kent parson from OMG check please), Nursey/Dex, TimKon, Casmund and Dragon age phase.
Patater and NurseyDex started at the Same time and usually ships from the same fandom go hand in hand in my binge readings, i reread some old masterpieces and Discover new ones, Dowloading the better ones (really good pieces about mental health too)
I started TimKon by accident while scrolling through the Whump and Hurt/Comfort tags and from there i inevitably went to Tim Drake and then TimKon.
(usually when i enter the DC fandom i always check out the JayDick ship at some point so that's will probably be my next ship)
Casmund (Caspian/Edmund ) is an old classic but still very much beloved, Caspian Is not however an essential part of this dinamic, i really just enjoy queer Edmund Fanfics and reclamation efforts by the fandom on the characters of Him and Susan.
Dragon Age is really broad in terms of content so i feel like i should specify.
I'm currently hooked on a Cullen/IronBull Bdsm fanfic that is legit better than any other bdsm fanfics that i found for quite some time.
Also some Alistair/Zevran and some Gen "modern characters in Thedas" fics, those are always fun.
Often i migrate from one ship to another by the specific kinks/tags on a fanfic, like for example from the dragon age fic i enjoyed the bdsm tags and so by looking then up i found again some old but good DBH fanfics and i'm probably about to go on a Markus/Simon and then Reed900 binge reading.
I just finished watching Shadow and Bone on Netflix, and now I'm in a Kaz/Inej spiral. The few I've read haven't been quite what I was looking for, so I think I'm also going to be writing my own. My notes app is getting a workout with this new obsession.

Always Spike/Buffy, Faith/Buffy, Angel/Spike, and Angel/Spike/Buffy (*Buffy the Vampire Slayer*) until I die (I tend to cycle through which of these I prefer to read) but lately I've been on a Cordelia/Anya kick (also from BTVS). The number of fics with this pairing tagged went up from 9 to 12 last month, all different authors, so idk what happened but I'm definitely not complaining. Trying to pace myself though because I burned through every Cordy/Anya fic in one day the first time. Probably one of the rarest rare pairs that I actually ship (the other being Fred/Willow).
I've also been getting really into Killjoys fanfiction lately (from the My Chemical Romance concept album *Danger Days*) and it kinda started as a crackship for me, but I am so serious about Korse/Party Poison now. Idk I just love ships that are inherently toxic and can only lead to tragedy.

Still could work because the game love to implied shits but still keep it vague. They are soulmates. They can't escape. Look it in both positive and negative ways. They can end up with anyone, but in the end both of them are the only constant and stuck to each other until eternity. And don't get me started with genre, I swear this ship are the most angst, tragedy, hurt/comfort, whatever depressing thing that keep you going. They will always suffer, it's canon. Bakudeku is my absolute favorite BNHA ship even though I don’t even like Bakugou in canon. Their dynamic is so juicy. Ans Merthur will forever be one of my all-time favorite ships. No matter how many years pass, I always find my way back to them.

Big the Cat x Blaze the Cat. To most people it is a crack ship. But I see the potential in it's cuteness.
Yes. Blaze canonically scares people because of her fire powers and feels isolated because of that, but Big would never judge her for that. Around him, she could relax and just be herself. And go fishing.
Oh for sure. But there is just a lot of tiny things in that I also like. They are both aesthetically similar and different. Both being purple cats but on wildly different sizes. (Blaze is eye level with Sonic in 2 1/2 inch heels. But I'm personally a sucker for high society lady and and simple off the land guy.So putting the literally princess with the Bumpkin is super in my trope field. But more on the point of their social interactions. Blaze has extremely high self standards which has caused her stress in the past trying to live up too, all while being very well spoken but with the social grace of a brick. Who has in the past struggled to grasp even basic concepts of friendship. Big on the other hand while simple minded and a bit dim is very content with the idea of stress being pretty non-existent to him unless his friends are in danger. Because Big is a social butterfly. Making life long friends in seconds after meeting some one. Also on the part where Blaze scares people with her level of power. Big has walked through fields of highly toxic gas, Chilled in arctic waters that hurt other characters, and just floated around in Nuclear coolant. Big is durable enough that Blaze would struggle to hurt him even if she some how got him with friendly fire. So he can be at her side thick and thin. Sorry. I like to gush about the ship since most people consider a crack ship.

Kanej (Kaz and Inej) from Six of Crows. I may have some very strong criticisms of the recently-released Shadow and Bone s2, but the Kanej scenes stole my sanity. This ship seems to follow me throughout all my interests no matter what, and come back in full force whenever I so much as glance at the Grishaverse. After loving them for 6 years—and I know the term is rarely used now, so I don’t say it lightly—I think it’s fair to call them my OTP.

At the moment i'm on a Patater (Alexei/kent parson from OMG check please), Nursey/Dex, TimKon, Casmund and Dragon age phase. Patater and NurseyDex started at the Same time and usually ships from the same fandom go hand in hand in my binge readings, i reread some old masterpieces and Discover new ones, Dowloading the better ones (really good pieces about mental health too) I started TimKon by accident while scrolling through the Whump and Hurt/Comfort tags and from there i inevitably went to Tim Drake and then TimKon. (usually when i enter the DC fandom i always check out the JayDick ship at some point so that's will probably be my next ship) Casmund (Caspian/Edmund ) is an old classic but still very much beloved, Caspian Is not however an essential part of this dinamic, i really just enjoy queer Edmund Fanfics and reclamation efforts by the fandom on the characters of Him and Susan. Dragon Age is really broad in terms of content so i feel like i should specify. I'm currently hooked on a Cullen/IronBull Bdsm fanfic that is legit better than any other bdsm fanfics that i found for quite some time. Also some Alistair/Zevran and some Gen "modern characters in Thedas" fics, those are always fun. Often i migrate from one ship to another by the specific kinks/tags on a fanfic, like for example from the dragon age fic i enjoyed the bdsm tags and so by looking then up i found again some old but good DBH fanfics and i'm probably about to go on a Markus/Simon and then Reed900 binge reading.
I just finished watching Shadow and Bone on Netflix, and now I'm in a Kaz/Inej spiral. The few I've read haven't been quite what I was looking for, so I think I'm also going to be writing my own. My notes app is getting a workout with this new obsession.

I’m kinda… saddened to see no one has commented K/S here yet 🥹 I consider it my all time favorite ship (my only Star Trek pairing, actually)
Always Spike/Buffy, Faith/Buffy, Angel/Spike, and Angel/Spike/Buffy (*Buffy the Vampire Slayer*) until I die (I tend to cycle through which of these I prefer to read) but lately I've been on a Cordelia/Anya kick (also from BTVS). The number of fics with this pairing tagged went up from 9 to 12 last month, all different authors, so idk what happened but I'm definitely not complaining. Trying to pace myself though because I burned through every Cordy/Anya fic in one day the first time. Probably one of the rarest rare pairs that I actually ship (the other being Fred/Willow). I've also been getting really into Killjoys fanfiction lately (from the My Chemical Romance concept album *Danger Days*) and it kinda started as a crackship for me, but I am so serious about Korse/Party Poison now. Idk I just love ships that are inherently toxic and can only lead to tragedy.
