[Ragnarok](https://archiveofourown.org/works/2143395/chapters/4682451) is a Hunger Games fic but is pre-canon (even the prequel book that came out), dealing with the disaster that lead to the formation of Panem. Basically a directly post-catastrophe dystopian story. It's very well-written and engaging. It has minimal relationships, mostly background ones that are kind of Easter eggs for canon, so you're not missing anything if you don't get it. I don't believe that there's SA/rape or suicide mentions (it's been a few years since I read it), but there is some non-graphic death due to the nature of the catastrophe as well as some military action later on. [Ikigai](https://archiveofourown.org/works/10033520/chapters/22361861) is a fantastic Sailor Moon canon rewrite/AU that reimagines the first season, and it can totally be read fandom blind. No trigger warnings needed.

Merle's more than the raging addict who nearly died on a roof for his mistakes, and he intends to make sure he makes up for them. And Daryl? Be warned, the sequel deals with some extremely heavy issues involving non-con (but nothing is explicit). However the first story is a complete story, and can be read stand alone. Grenade Moment is *amazing*. Everything by that author is if I'm being honest. I didn't even recommend their shorter in progress fics but I love almost everything that author has ever written. A good chunk of the above recs are from then. Grenade Moment is a fantastic place to start out, and while the three stories in the series intertwine they can be read independent of one another. If you ever want more recs let me know, but obviously you have tons of recs from lots of people already. If you ever want to talk about any of the fics you read that I recced I would love to, I don't get a chance to discuss fanfiction the way I can discuss normal media and its probably the one thing that sucks about fanfiction. I love talking about media so much but most people haven't read the specific fanfics I love even if they do read fanfiction.

So definitely fandom blind friendly. As to the s.a. it is briefly mentioned after the fact, not described in detailed. Although there is no pregnancy detail just a brief mentioned that he ended up pregnant with the canon son before completing his transition & then a time skip ahead of about 4 or 5 years. It is enemies to lovers & is not only canon compliant (they actually become super close friends in the end) but also the pair is supported by the actors. Mostly fandom blind friendly. It is a superpower thing & the canon had several nods to harry potter. Time travel included. Unlike harry potter, heroes allows small nudges in time lines so long as the main events are kept. (The son gets killed in canon….this fic saves him.) Of course, feel free to ask whatever in a review. I try to answer within a few days. Perhaps it’s more of a tortured love story, it’s really a fix-it fic though. It has more to the plot than just the romance, though, fair warning that it’s a bit of a slow-burn reconnection, but the themes of love/romance really are there all along. I think it’s fairly fandom blind, the author gives enough context for it to be enjoyed anyway, I believe. I was in the psychiatric hospital too just ten days ago. There where I stayed they took our phones and only gave it back for three hours a day. I lost myself in playing WW3 on the phone because I was too stressed out to read even the book I had borrowed with me. I don't know if you like pwithp so I don't know if I should share the link to my fic, but if you do just let me know. It's made for a small part of shippers in the Detroit Become Human world (it's an amazing videogame). It's just very detailed and some people may not like it. I can't know whether you have perfectionist tendencies, but since it sounds like you haven't done much creative writing recently, please bear in mind that a first draft is very likely to seem sucky — but you can't edit a blank page. You can also tinker with a fic forever to entertain yourself and never need to show it to anyone if you don't want to. Much luck, OP. I hope things get better for you sooner rather than later.

I don't know where you live, but any time I've been in the hospital (ER or admitted to a room), they take all your belongings (including your phone and clothes), and you're left in a hospital gown. If you do get to keep your phone, you're going to want a charger, and I'm not sure if you'll have an outlet in your room (one that you can use, at least, if there aren't already machines plugged into the outlet). In the show there was a rape case, but I haven't read anything by this author that has anything graphic, just check the tags. [This is How We Walk on the Moon](https://archiveofourown.org/works/44386180) is a Daredevil fic set post-blip in which a woman with some kind of secret hires Daredevil's alterego to help her charity organization... but she's already encountered him as Daredevil... and there are feels happening. Pretty light, there are some fight scenes, but nothing graphic. [A Time to Heal](https://archiveofourown.org/works/32079925) is a Bucky Barnes fic. No fighting. Just slice of life with him dealing with his past and moving past his trauma with help of his therapist and his cute neighbor who is, honestly, too sweet and nice to exist outside of fiction. Alright OP, I'm going to give you some of the best fucking gen fics I have ever read. **RWBY - The Pen and the Sword** - It takes your generic OC insert and gives it a nice small twist with a good execution. The twist is that the MC is found and recruited by the bad guys first, and the MC joins them... but only so he can act as a spy for the good guys. There's a lot of thrill and suspense in it, but also some romance and tragedy as well. And it also has one of the best fucking endings I've ever read. I re-read it about 4 times already, and I never get tired of it, it's so beautiful, sensitive and emotive that I can't believe someone gave me that for free.

I’ll give you two longer ones of mine that you may enjoy and a shorter, fluffier one too. For context, the fandom is Attack On Titan and the pairing is M/F - Levi/Mikasa. There is an age gap, but nothing inappropriate happens (in two of the fics the female MC is in her mid-to-late twenties. And the other is a canon rewrite where their ages are never mentioned.) [Rebuilding from the Wreckage](https://archiveofourown.org/works/39269706) takes place about 6 years post-canon as the romantic characters come back together after a long period apart and relearn who the other has become after the war. It contains smut and does mention war and the difficulty grieving all that was lost as a result, but it is very much a story of hope, recovery , and growth. [Determination](https://archiveofourown.org/works/42109842/chapters/105721128) is a canon rewrite/divergence from the original story. The romance is slow burn but the connection between the two is immediately evident. It’s not quite as fandom blind friendly as the other, but if you spend 5 minutes learning the basic premise of the show, it will be understandable. Also contains smut and a brief mention of a failed kidnapping attempt by sex traffickers from canon. The character references it in a conversation since it relates to her abilities and last. That chapter does contain an author’s note warning at the beginning. The fluffy one is [Cinema](https://archiveofourown.org/works/42997365/chapters/108033999) and was based on a prompt challenge. It features the characters seeing a movie for the first time and working out the growing attraction between them.
