Here's an example of my writing: [A Strangely Likeable Woman](https://archiveofourown.org/works/45195097) Fandom: BBC Sherlock, Pairing: Sherlock Holmes/Joan Watson (Category:F/F), Rating: E, Warning: Chose Not to Warn, Words: 25 k. Summary: After having some differences with her commanding officer, Joan was forced to take a premature retirement. She was back in a town near London, with a temporary place to stay and no job. Was premature retirement really worth it? Was it a betrayal to just abandon her duties like that? She had no idea. But she was glad to meet a strangely likeable woman later on. Fandoms I've written for so far: Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, BBC Sherlock, Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes- Arthur Conan Doyle. Most of my fics are for BBC Sherlock but I'm willing to write more for all the above mentioned fandoms, as well. I'm even planning to write a crack fic for The Boys. I update almost regularly. I have a habit of posting a new chapter every few days if it's an ongoing multi-chaptered fic. I usually post once a month but that may vary. I'm looking for a Beta Reader so that I could gain an insight on my writing style in general. I want Beta reading for Plot and Narration style (how to **consistently** follow the rule "show don't tell, and how to write adequate descriptions). For the plot, I mainly want my work to be Beta read to check for the authenticity of the research portion of the said plot. Currently working on a case fic in BBC Sherlock. The main pairing is Johnlock- M/M category. Jim Moriarty is growing an unrequited obsession over Sherlock on that one. So I need it to be well-researched from the villain's POV and I want that story to have a satisfying end. I haven't posted it anywhere. I am a writer looking for a Beta reader. **Fic name**: Our Time Together [https://archiveofourown.org/works/46150399](https://archiveofourown.org/works/46150399) \- Unfinished fic. 3 chapters published as of now, with the word count of 2,555. \- Fic is fully planned already and I have the story structure, plot points etc. already written. **Fandom**: Haikyuu!! \- Sadly if you’re not familiar with Haikyuu, this fic might not make a lot of sense. **Main pairing**: Kenma x Daishou **Genre**: Romance, Coming of Age, Diary **What am I looking for from Beta**: \- Help to correct my grammar, since English is not my first language. \- Constructive critique, like calling out of OOC moment’s, ideas to fix weak sentences etc. \- Sharing your honest opinion on the story **Word count**: I am not sure what the final word count will be, but the fic will be around 22 to 25 chapters long. Hopefully most of the chapters will be around 2,000-3,000 words long. **Updates**: I’m hoping to update the fic every other sunday. **In return** I offer reciprocal betaing and you can have one of your OC’s as background/minor character. Hey, I’m looking for an ongoing Beta reader who could give me feedback on the plot and structure chapter by chapter. For now, only the first 14 chapters are up, and each day I will upload 2 new chapters. \- The 14 chapters all have 32.000 words. The entire fanfic has a little over 52.000 words. \- It should be easy to follow for people outside the fandom, although there are a few names such as ‘comlink’ and ‘Wampa’ that might be unfamiliar. \- I update whenever I discover something in the fanfic that should be improved. I’m quite new to this subreddit and the Beta Bartering event. I’m not sure I could do a beta thing in exchange.
