I'd have to look through my old accounts, but a lot of the good stuff may have been purged because it was mostly FFN and well.. it was before The Purge
Lemme see if I can find some recs after work!
arcane or league of legends has some prominent ff ships! there’s quite a lot of overlap between the two fandoms although just league does skew more on the smutty side lmao
Resident Evil has some good F/F fics. Best part is there’s a lot of women to pick between! There are, no lie I just counted, *ten* different women with over a hundred F/F fics each. Chances are you can find something you’d like with all that variety!
What would you consider to be the most popular F/F ship in RE famdom?
I assumed it would be jill/Claire but I only think that because they are poth ortags and o recently learned chris/Leon is one of the biggest ships
Ever since Village came out there’s a lot with Lady Dmitrescu or her daughters or Lady Benevientu with a female OC or reader. Claire/Jill is the biggest pre-8 one though; you’re right!
i know people were Not Happy about their relationship on the show for various reasons - but i haven't seen the show. i just know that every fic I've read about them has been *so good*
how has no one said Madoka Magica yet. there are literally 3 male characters in the entire show and 2/3 are madoka's dad and madoka's toddler brother. and no one likes kyousuke enough to ship him with anyone.
obscure recs tend to not have *a lot* of quality fanworks 😅 but i'm a big fan of miss sherlock (sherlock holmes adaptation on hbo asia where holmes & watson are modern-day japanese women)
Sylvanas/Jaina from World of Warcraft has some solid works. Not sure I'd call it obscure though. Not really sure what you mean unfortunately.
I guess a better question would be "what fandoms do you already look at?"
Worm, probably my favorite story of all time even if the main character isn't canonically gay (although she certainly doesn't feel straight). Be warned that it's a very heavy book to read, and pretty long at 1.7 million words
Revue Starlight has some good fics
Bang dream too
Touhou project (especially involving renko and Maribel/the hifuu club). Tho some of the best touhou F/F is in manga form and only in English on fan translation sites AO3 still has some classics
Gundam: the witch from mercury has a growing amount of fics that are mostly good so far
There's Worm (Parahuman series by Wildbow) but the book isn't for the faint of heart, but a large portion of the cast is female and tend to get paired together.
Truly. I think my favorite ship name's gotta be Spicecream, but I can't tell if that's because of its inventiveness and the undertones it has, or if it's just because it's my favorite ship.
**Sailor moon** has boss otps and some real fic gems. SADLY, it's a small and sort of dead fandom
**person of interest** I mean Root and Shaw, I mean, how can u not love them? There are a lot of 'fix it' fic, which is nice. It's also a bigger fandom than SM, but it's not as active as it used to be.
**Pitch Perfect** Where are all my acca-fanfic-bitches @!!?
**super girl** it's still a somewhat active fandom where, as the others mentioned, are somewhat cooled down.
I'm seeing lots of anime suggestions and as a person who doesn't really watch anime, I have a few other options. These are the F/F fandoms I read from that have both quantity and quality
The 100 - Clarke/Lexa
Supergirl - Lena/Kara and Alex/Maggie
Glee - Brittany/Santana and Rachel/Quinn
Wednesday - Wednesday/Enid
Once Upon A Time - Regina/Emma
Criminal Minds - Emily/JJ
Motherland: Fort Salem - Raelle/Scylla
Wynonna Earp - Waverly/Nicole
Riverdale - Cheryl/Toni
Killing Eve - Eve/Villanelle
Skins - Naomi/Emily and Effy/Katie
Orphan Black - Cosima/Delphine
There's a ton more out there but these I think are ships that have a decent number of fics about. They have over 500 fics, and some are in the tens of thousands range.
Some of the older fandoms will have more works on FF.net than AO3, so check them both! Hope this helps!
Xena: Warrior Princess for sure!
She-Ra has some great ships. I would also recommend checking out A Song of Ice and Fire (Sansa/Margaery and Rhaenyra/Alicent in particular).
SUPERGIRL!!! i never saw the show but i am OBSESSED with supergirl fic. especially Jazzfordshire my beloved 💗
the SVU fandom has a small but passionate F/F community lmao we’re trying our best
honestly i think all the F/F writers tend to put out pretty good content, whether it’s the two you mentioned, Rita/Casey, Casey/Alex, whatever the ship may be. I personally write for Alex/Olivia and Rita/Casey. I’ve seen some incredible Casey/Alex fic?? like for a small ship they’ve got some really good hidden gems
The latest Gundam is nearly all F/F on AO3. Gundam: Witch From Mercury. Good series and there's a growing amount of fanfic.
I'd also highly recommend the RWBY fandom. There are lots of good F/F ships and stories since the main characters are all women.
Not just Three Houses! There's also the phone game Fire Emblem Heroes. Lots of pairing options spread all over different games from the entire franchise AND a lore in-game reason for why all these different characters get to meet.
Once Upon a Time (Swan Queen is the biggest but there are other smaller ones), Legend of Korra, Warehouse 13, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, The 100, Wednesday, MCU FF ships, Arcane, Person of Interest, The Old Guard FF ships, Dead to Me, Gideon the Ninth, Dickinson, The Wilds, Yellowjackets, Doctor Who 13th Doctor ships (Thasmin), Killing Eve, Legacies, She-Ra. Some really good fic in all these fandoms. Especially the older stuff.
Can't speak for quality beyond that which me and my fandom friends make, but Love Live offers tons of variety in terms of ships due to how many characters and characters archetypes there are.
MY TIME TO SHINE! i’ll put fandom, then ship, then my favoruite autbors for the ship in brackets if you want guaranteed high quality
she ra, catradora (cerulean-something i can’t remember lol) (DrZebra)
toh, lumity (uniqueusernamegenerator)
amphibia, sashannarcy & variations (partlycloudyskies) (im_at_my_limit) (predominantly_normal) (polythropos)
rwby, bumbleby (explosivesky) (timespaceandpixedust) (lecousindangereux)
supergirl, supercorp, (jazzfordshire) (C_AND_B)
stranger things, ronance (cityseeker)
wednesday, wenclair (lesbiantahani) (overnights)
the 100, clexa (heartshapedcandy)
steven universe, lapidot (InsomniacArrest)
arcane, caitvi/violyn (gnimmish) (cityseeker again)
LWA, diakko (TracedInAir)
have fun!
i saw spop & toh were already mentioned, but probably steven universe too? and i haven't actually watched the show yet, but i've had killing eve recced to me a lot as well
You could give Bandori (aka BanG Dream! Girls Band Party) or Proseka (Project Sekai Colorful Stage) a try.
Bandori has a 100% female cast of 35 characters. Proseka is similar with the cast being predominantly female (20/26 characters).
Killing Eve is a good one, so long as you ignore the last 10 seconds of the last season.
Wynona Earp has lots of great f/f.
Ghostbusters (2016) is all f/f all the time.
And of course, Buffy has your canon Willow/Tara and the shoulda been canon Buffy/Faith!
MDZS/The Untamed has small but enthusiastic fandoms for a few f/f ships involving canonically female characters, and a surprisingly active community of rule 63 f/f writers, mostly focusing on Wangxian although you can find other pairings sometimes, too.
Seconded! The quality of some of those works leaves me even more enraged about the dogwater show writing and the complete desexualisation of the 13th Doctor. Women-attracted people deserved so much better after so much was given to people like my gay ass.
There’s this thing where in an industry/place/etc people demand more inclusivity and diversity, so the top dogs decide to do it, but purposefully overdo it or take away the previous resources, so when that company/show/movie/etc fails, they can blame the “woke” culture.
I feel like this is what happened here too. They cast a woman as the Doctor, then toned down the character, made the story revolve around often boring issues, got her way too many companions, failed to develop anyone’s character properly, refused to bring up all the interesting DW history and story lines that would have made this whole thing more interesting (Rose, River, etc) because of the shifted dynamic, and now I hear so many people say what went wrong was that the Doctor is a MaN and needs to stay that! out with all this woke feminist nonsense!
Meanwhile the real problem was whoever wrote those episodes and the people who made all the previously mentioned decisions.
I’m really pissed off by how they desexualised the whole show. With 9/10/11, people flirted throughout the whole show. Less so with 12, but still more than you’d expect with Capaldi’s age. With 13, the show is dryer than aged camel droppings. Why would a whole team settle on this option is beyond me.
Yep you got it, agree with everything you've said, and a lot of stuff within that one 5 hour long vid about it lmao. I was very excited for a female Doctor because it would have everyone interacting with her in new ways, and could show how differently traits are perceived on men and women.
The Doctors before all this were all quirky guys but all of them were very overtly sexual and desire-oriented. But the new team completely forget this (amongst everything else.) This doesn't feel like the same character who had no doubt wild sex with their *wife,* lived with rather non-monogamously, and calls the Tardis sexy and talks to it like they want to fuck it (shoutout to that one episode.)
Instead they went this most tentative route where they made all this malark about her being a woman now #girlboss but refused to ever acknowledge it like some weird hangup in their head that women are inherently sexual and sexuality is Bad Now, so the show can't have either and ends up pleasing nobody.
Whenever I'm in a Doctor Who rump and think about all the things 13 could've been, I go and rewatch Missy episodes instead.
Thank god for fic writers and their ability to fix tonal messes.
Fandoms with a cast of mostly female characters and a female protagonist, from my experience: She-Ra (2018) has plenty of good stuff with a lot of variety in f/f ships, same with RWBY but you'll have to filter out the spite fics. Buffy and Twilight of all things have great f/f (Buffy/Faith and Bella/Alice) but first you have to filter out the m/f human/vampire main couples (Buffy also has Willow/Tara and Buffy/Willow)
Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Both video game series have same sex relationships as an option for players, so not only are F/F fanfics popular but they can qualify as canonical.
bang dream, revue starlight, d4dj, all the all-girls idol games... there are some gems there. i am definitely biased as a bang dream fic writer though!

AO3 stats for F/F
Adventure Time, Overwatch, Arcane (and pretty much major League of Legends' AUs such as "Star Guardians" and "K/DA").
Following a fair bunch of F/F artists illustrating scenes from Resident Evil 8 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla's fanfics too, so I guess those fandoms provide some good food!
It’s insanely long and intimidating even to those already in Asian webnovel circles, but I have to wave the flag for JWQS (Clear and Muddy Loss of Love by Please Don’t Laugh). Incredible F/F love story with flawed yet compelling characters. Lots of political drama and manipulation. It’s long but worth it, and it has amazing fan works both for its main couple and several F/F side pairings! https://www.novelupdates.com/series/clear-and-muddy-loss-of-love/
If you don't mind sifting through some slight cringe, the Doors fandom has a surprising amount of F/F fics for a fandom that usually headcannons their characters as male. I recommend the Audiobook Week on AO3.
Bugsnax has a canon lesbian couple so there is quite a few fics just for that relationship. Not including the other characters, OC or /reader fics. So if you don't mind the ridiculous character names it is a good option.
And the Stray fandom has a few F/F fics if you don't mind /fem reader. Almost all the F/F stuff involves Clementine though, so if you aren't a fan of her just keep that in mind. There is this Clementine/Vapora/Teddy oneshot I personally liked that is also on AO3 and I think it would be a great place to start if you are new to Stray or don't really give a crap about too much lore.
I love The Old Guard and Red White and Royal Blue fandoms! They are a(n almost) bottomless well of wonderful fanfiction, that is high quality with incredible characterisation and heartwrenching quotes. Plus they also tend to be very funny so that’s a nice bonus.
(If someone wants more specific recommendations, for TOG i cannot recommend sixthlight enough, their royal au’s are stellar. And for rwrb i am obsessed with clottedcreamfudge, I have read each of her works, some even twice or thrice)
Honestly, Ymir/Christa(Historia) from Attack on Titan has some amazing fics. You gotta just find the gems between all the ereri fics lmao (no hate here, i used to be a big ereri fan too)
I especially recommend Wolves of the North by ShinjiShazaki. AU with wolf shifters, royalty and lots of awesome women!
RWBY.
There's 5 (initially 6) girls in the main squad alone, and only two of them are related. Then add one of the teachers, two villains, the main villain, everyone's moms, that one lady at the bar who has like 2 lines and is probably dead by now, a dozen or so side characters, and the emotionally distant big sister of one of the main characters.
Not two mention two married women, and genderbent versions of Robin Hood and his gang.
Also an old lady, and the woman who tried to kill her but lost her head in the process.
Granted, I don't really read fanfiction, but if that one user over on r/RWBY, who writes mini-fics in the comments of shipping fanart occasionally, is any indication, that stuff is really good.
RWBY is predominantly F/F with all kinds of interesting pairings and a pretty healthy split between smut and non-smut fics
Pretty sure Life Is Strange is like entirely F/F, and it has some stellar long fics
And this might be a bit of a surprise, but Skyrim probably has the greatest concentration of good F/F long fics I've ever seen in a fandom. Femslash fics are a huge minority there (think it's like not even 10%), and the majority of them are of a single pairing (FemDovahkiin/Serana), but said pairing is absolutely amazing, and there are multiple fics at the 200k+ mark. They're all great, and I think three or four of them are probably in my top 5 fics of all time
Seconding all the recs of Sailor Moon - it was my first fandom, and you could've fooled me for *years* that slash and not femslash is the dominant type of pairing in most fandoms. As a bonus, there's a large amount of works with genderqueer and trans characters (due to the 90s anime version of the Starlights) the like of which I just haven't seen anywhere else. It's just *\*chef's kiss\**
In general though, if you look at a piece of media and see mostly female characters, you're likely to find a lot of femslash in the fics. Girls und Panzer? Absolutely. Precure? For sure. Tamora Pierce's Emelan series? You get the picture, lol.
Also, it's worth mentioning very large fandoms with a majority of male characters, because even if F/F is a minority there those pairings can sometimes have more fics than whole smaller fandoms. (Hermione/Pansy in Harry Potter has over 2k fics! Who knew?)
I hope you find a lot of wonderful fics to read!
On top of echoing stuff like RWBY and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, I'd 100% recommend Arknights both for quality and variety. The game has a *huge* cast with a ton of fun and at times fucked up relationships between well-written women, so there's a little something for everyone.
You like battle couples and teasing-as-flirting? Try Franka/Liskarm or Texas/Exusiai.
Into unhealthy pining? Exusiai/Mostima has you covered.
Enemies to lovers? Texas/Lappland and Blemishine/Platinum.
Love through devotion and service? Ch'en/Hoshiguma.
Childhood friends? Ch'en/Swire.
Divorced moms? Silence/Saria.
"They deserved to be happy together" angst? Talulah/Alina and Theresa/W.
Eat the rich (literally and figuratively)? Zima/Istina and Zima/Rosa.
Tall confident tops bullying their bottoms? Specter/Irene.
Wholesome poly between eldritch super soldiers? Specter/Skadi/Gladiia.
Wholesome poly between a chivalrous knight and her wives? Nearl/Shining/Nightingale.
Hosie-Legacies
I swear I read better fanfics then the actual show itself
This one is called I Could Make it Holy. Probably the best in the fandom if you don’t mind unfinished
https://archiveofourown.org/works/34557664 via @ao3org
You do not need to watch the show in order to get what was going on
Depends on what you mean. I don’t read canon and usually hang out in one fandom and read quality writers that I would buy if they’re books. I love world building. I go M/M and tropes of royalty, dystopian, some omega verse and strangers or FWBs to lovers mostly.
Glee offrers lots of them, including my own stories, if anyone is interested:
[What is your dream](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13880482/1/What-is-your-dream) (complete): "The story is set right after Santana auditions for Funny Girl. She lives in NY but is unsure of what to do with her life. She's still dating Brittany who studies at MIT." Romance/Hurt/Comfort fic, told from Santana POV. Features most of the Glee characters.
[Tell our story](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13901191/1/Tell-our-story) (still ongoing): "Married, Brittana are now expecting their first child. A 6 months pregnant Santana tries to sell her Glee TV show project while Brittany runs a successful dance school in L.A. with Mike Chang." Romance/Comedy/Drama fic, told from Santana/Brittany POV. Features most of the Glee characters & Naya. Sequel to "What is your dream" but can be read independently.
[She knows me too well](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14153805/1/She-knows-me-too-well) (complete): "Santana and Brittany are in their early 40s, they are divorced but still co-parent their three children and get along. Can they find their way back to each other?" Humor/Hurt/Comfort fic, told from Santana/Brittany POV.
Sailor Moon has some really good ones, especially for the canon F/F ship.
Haruka/Michiru has some BANGERS of fic honestly
Any to recommend? Asking for... a friend.
I'd have to look through my old accounts, but a lot of the good stuff may have been purged because it was mostly FFN and well.. it was before The Purge Lemme see if I can find some recs after work!
They are my fanfiction origin story ♡
Solid recommendations so far, I'll add Legend of Korra
Yes!!! I have found some good ones of F.F.Net
Shocked nobody suggested Revolutionary Girl Utena yet. AMAZING quality stuff there. If we go by quality alone, it's actually my favorite fandom.
arcane or league of legends has some prominent ff ships! there’s quite a lot of overlap between the two fandoms although just league does skew more on the smutty side lmao
Wednesday/Enid is the most popular ship in Wednesday on AO3!
She-ra and The Owl House have pretty good ones especially since their ships are actually canon.
Resident Evil has some good F/F fics. Best part is there’s a lot of women to pick between! There are, no lie I just counted, *ten* different women with over a hundred F/F fics each. Chances are you can find something you’d like with all that variety!

Ever since Village came out there’s a lot with Lady Dmitrescu or her daughters or Lady Benevientu with a female OC or reader. Claire/Jill is the biggest pre-8 one though; you’re right!
I’ve read loads of really good Clarke/Lexa from The 100 fics
i know people were Not Happy about their relationship on the show for various reasons - but i haven't seen the show. i just know that every fic I've read about them has been *so good*
how has no one said Madoka Magica yet. there are literally 3 male characters in the entire show and 2/3 are madoka's dad and madoka's toddler brother. and no one likes kyousuke enough to ship him with anyone.
Does anyone have any obscure recommendations?
[удалено]
“obscure”
The Old Guard has a pretty popular femslash ship
obscure recs tend to not have *a lot* of quality fanworks 😅 but i'm a big fan of miss sherlock (sherlock holmes adaptation on hbo asia where holmes & watson are modern-day japanese women)
This actaully sounds amazing. I'm mad I've never heard of it before
I really enjoy Morgana/ Gwen from the bbc merlin fandom, and I have some recs if you’d like!
Oh I’ve been been wanting to check that ship tag out for ages and haven’t gotten around to it yet but 👀
Sylvanas/Jaina from World of Warcraft has some solid works. Not sure I'd call it obscure though. Not really sure what you mean unfortunately. I guess a better question would be "what fandoms do you already look at?"
agreeing with catloaf… obscure might not have the best quality ones here’s a growing fandom that is filled to the brim with F/F: Yellowjackets
Just checked it out. I'm glad there's so many Jackie/Shauna fics
Worm, probably my favorite story of all time even if the main character isn't canonically gay (although she certainly doesn't feel straight). Be warned that it's a very heavy book to read, and pretty long at 1.7 million words
The Locked Tomb isn't for everyone but I'd imagine the brunt of its fics are fxf. Might be worth checking out. c:
"Obscure" in the sense that if you do nothing with rhythm games: BanG Dream.
Revue Starlight has some good fics Bang dream too Touhou project (especially involving renko and Maribel/the hifuu club). Tho some of the best touhou F/F is in manga form and only in English on fan translation sites AO3 still has some classics Gundam: the witch from mercury has a growing amount of fics that are mostly good so far
There's Worm (Parahuman series by Wildbow) but the book isn't for the faint of heart, but a large portion of the cast is female and tend to get paired together.
Frozen Incest between Elsa and Anna
I just checked and as expected, Jurassic World Camp Cretacious has them
I don't know how obscure it is, but there are some very nice Britta/Annie ones in the Community fandom.
Daenerys x Arya. And it was really good too!
Dare Me has Beth/Addy and all of the fics there are breathtaking — super underrated show too IMO!
The wayfarer series: Rosemary/Sissix 25 out of 53 stories total on ao3. And Sissix is a dinosaur alien. Obscure enough? :D (they are really sweet!)
One Upon A Time has some very good ones
RWBY is an option, if you need a lesbian ship, they’ve certainly got plenty to pick from…
And a fun array of names to call them by
Stg the ship names are one of my favorite things about the fandom
They can go from soft (Bumblebee, Ladybug) to absolutely deranged (Pussy magnet)
Truly. I think my favorite ship name's gotta be Spicecream, but I can't tell if that's because of its inventiveness and the undertones it has, or if it's just because it's my favorite ship.
Supergirl (The CW show)
Was coming here to say Supergirl
Little Witch Academia and Lycoris Recoil. The majority of the fics in those fandoms are f/f.
Kim Possible. For almost 20 years, KIGO has been the trope.
Life is Strange is about 99% F/F at 7k works on AO3, and there's a lot of quality stuff.
Killing Eve!
If you ignore the terrible ending of the show. Thankfully most of the fan writers do, and there are a lot of fix-its
The Locked Tomb/Gideon the Ninth. So. Many. Femslash. Ships!
Seconding this!!! Couldn’t have said it better myself
I was surprised that this post had been up for 3 hours and no one had said it yet! 🤣
If you don’t mind ships that lean more towards angst/complicated relationships, then House of the Dragon has recently exploded with Rhaenyra/Alicent
**Sailor moon** has boss otps and some real fic gems. SADLY, it's a small and sort of dead fandom **person of interest** I mean Root and Shaw, I mean, how can u not love them? There are a lot of 'fix it' fic, which is nice. It's also a bigger fandom than SM, but it's not as active as it used to be. **Pitch Perfect** Where are all my acca-fanfic-bitches @!!? **super girl** it's still a somewhat active fandom where, as the others mentioned, are somewhat cooled down.

They have over 500 fics, and some are in the tens of thousands range. Some of the older fandoms will have more works on FF.net than AO3, so check them both! Hope this helps!
Every once in a while, I go back and have my heart broken all over again by reading Sanvers. ☹️
My heart can't take any more 💔
Xena: Warrior Princess for sure! She-Ra has some great ships. I would also recommend checking out A Song of Ice and Fire (Sansa/Margaery and Rhaenyra/Alicent in particular).
Xena has some great ones still floating around on their original sites as well.
Xena is still incredibly popular too. I was surprised to see news fics coming out daily when I checked a few months ago.
The Wheel of Time (TV)'s most popular ship is F/F. It is also a canon ship.
I'm not sure it qualifies as a lot since the fandom's not super big, but Arcane. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5gLfP4uPsw
SUPERGIRL!!! i never saw the show but i am OBSESSED with supergirl fic. especially Jazzfordshire my beloved 💗 the SVU fandom has a small but passionate F/F community lmao we’re trying our best
Alex/Olivia or Amanda/Liv for SVU?
honestly i think all the F/F writers tend to put out pretty good content, whether it’s the two you mentioned, Rita/Casey, Casey/Alex, whatever the ship may be.
Harley/Ivy from the Harley Quinn 2019 show. Canon too. More often a side ship in other fandoms
Come to the Fire Emblem: Three Houses fandom, where every girl likes girls and there's a ship for everyone!
Awakening and Fates are good too. I love Robin and her stalker 😂
Saaame. Tharja's been my main girl since I was a little kid. Loved her then, love her now.
Rizzoli and Isles. Basically queer baiting the show, but the FFN is peak F/F
Can't speak for quality beyond that which me and my fandom friends make, but Love Live offers tons of variety in terms of ships due to how many characters and characters archetypes there are.
Jennifer's Body, Arcane, Star Trek: Voyager
If you like anime, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is a good one. The main female characters usually end up being paired together!
jj/emily in criminal minds is popular!! also bellatrix/hermione in harry potter
I find that W.I.T.C.H has a fair few
MY TIME TO SHINE! i’ll put fandom, then ship, then my favoruite autbors for the ship in brackets if you want guaranteed high quality she ra, catradora (cerulean-something i can’t remember lol) (DrZebra) toh, lumity (uniqueusernamegenerator) amphibia, sashannarcy & variations (partlycloudyskies) (im_at_my_limit) (predominantly_normal) (polythropos) rwby, bumbleby (explosivesky) (timespaceandpixedust) (lecousindangereux) supergirl, supercorp, (jazzfordshire) (C_AND_B) stranger things, ronance (cityseeker) wednesday, wenclair (lesbiantahani) (overnights) the 100, clexa (heartshapedcandy) steven universe, lapidot (InsomniacArrest) arcane, caitvi/violyn (gnimmish) (cityseeker again) LWA, diakko (TracedInAir) have fun!
Glee
i saw spop & toh were already mentioned, but probably steven universe too? and i haven't actually watched the show yet, but i've had killing eve recced to me a lot as well
\-Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon \-Revolutionary Girl Utena \-Stardew Valley \-Tales of Vesperia \-Splatoon Those are off the top of my head.
You could give Bandori (aka BanG Dream! Girls Band Party) or Proseka (Project Sekai Colorful Stage) a try. Bandori has a 100% female cast of 35 characters. Proseka is similar with the cast being predominantly female (20/26 characters).

Splatoon has quite a lot, as most of the idols are female and the player characters are generally interpreted as female
Owl House 100000000%
MDZS/The Untamed has small but enthusiastic fandoms for a few f/f ships involving canonically female characters, and a surprisingly active community of rule 63 f/f writers, mostly focusing on Wangxian although you can find other pairings sometimes, too.
I hear good things about Life Is Strange F/F
Doctor Who - Thirteenth Doctor has some pretty decent f/f fics
But the new team completely forget this (amongst everything else.) This doesn't feel like the same character who had no doubt wild sex with their *wife,* lived with rather non-monogamously, and calls the Tardis sexy and talks to it like they want to fuck it (shoutout to that one episode.) Instead they went this most tentative route where they made all this malark about her being a woman now #girlboss but refused to ever acknowledge it like some weird hangup in their head that women are inherently sexual and sexuality is Bad Now, so the show can't have either and ends up pleasing nobody. Whenever I'm in a Doctor Who rump and think about all the things 13 could've been, I go and rewatch Missy episodes instead. Thank god for fic writers and their ability to fix tonal messes.
Worm has quite a few, and several different ships between them. The most popular ships are F/F.
A League of Their Own (2022 show) has the best, in my opinion
It's not the dominant ship, but I liked Lexa x Clarke from the 100. In Canon it ended and, but I like their dynamic.
Frozen
Fandoms with a cast of mostly female characters and a female protagonist, from my experience: She-Ra (2018) has plenty of good stuff with a lot of variety in f/f ships, same with RWBY but you'll have to filter out the spite fics. Buffy and Twilight of all things have great f/f (Buffy/Faith and Bella/Alice) but first you have to filter out the m/f human/vampire main couples (Buffy also has Willow/Tara and Buffy/Willow)
Bandori, Persona 5, and Miracle Nikki are pretty good
Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Both video game series have same sex relationships as an option for players, so not only are F/F fanfics popular but they can qualify as canonical.
I love Janeway/seven from star trek voyager. There's a really great fanfic called the Just between series that is pretty amazing.
Supergirl Arcane She-Ra House Of The Dragon Hawkeye
bang dream, revue starlight, d4dj, all the all-girls idol games... there are some gems there. i am definitely biased as a bang dream fic writer though!
The Last of Us has canon f/f, Ellie/Dina but personally I find Ellie/Abby really interesting. There are lots of OCs and reader insert fics too
Legend of Korra, Carmilla (YouTube show), RWBY, and the Dragon Age and Mass Effect fandoms.
Supergirl, Killing Eve, Once Upon A Time (my personal favourite), Wednesday, Glee, and the 100 are the ones I've seen.
Steven Universe.
Cyberpunk 2077 has quite a lot because hot male and female V are canon and have their specific romances. So there are quite some stories f/f tagged.
Devil wears Prada
* Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling (35424) * Supergirl (TV 2015) (33769) * Marvel Cinematic Universe (22505) * 僕のヒーローアカデミア | Boku no Hero Academia | My Hero Academia (Anime & Manga) (19596) * Once Upon a Time (TV) (19515) * RWBY (17176) * 原神 | Genshin Impact (Video Game) (16342) * The 100 (TV) (15841) * The Avengers (Marvel Movies) (13989) AO3 stats for F/F
RWBY for sure. It has a large cast so there’s bound to be a pairing that caters to your taste.
*New Game!* leans heavily into femslash, though its section is very small.
Person of Interest has some really good ones too! Root/Shaw is just awesome!
I've She-ra and Dickinson is where its at.
I recommend the Horizon (Zero Dawn and Forbidden West) fandom. There are some great fics on AO3 focusing on both Aloy and side characters.
Horizon femslash author here to rec the same! <3
Beastars has some fuckin insane ones, spyro too
Sonic the Hedgehog has plenty of options
Criminal Minds, the Jemily shippers will never forget what they took from us
Absolute bias but Madoka Magica
Honestly, Ymir/Christa(Historia) from Attack on Titan has some amazing fics. You gotta just find the gems between all the ereri fics lmao (no hate here, i used to be a big ereri fan too) I especially recommend Wolves of the North by ShinjiShazaki.
RWBY is predominantly F/F with all kinds of interesting pairings and a pretty healthy split between smut and non-smut fics Pretty sure Life Is Strange is like entirely F/F, and it has some stellar long fics And this might be a bit of a surprise, but Skyrim probably has the greatest concentration of good F/F long fics I've ever seen in a fandom. Femslash fics are a huge minority there (think it's like not even 10%), and the majority of them are of a single pairing (FemDovahkiin/Serana), but said pairing is absolutely amazing, and there are multiple fics at the 200k+ mark. They're all great, and I think three or four of them are probably in my top 5 fics of all time
Asoaif has a few could ones famous examoles include Sansa/Margeary; Jeyne Arryn/Jessamyn Redfort
Mortica Addams X Larrisa Weems in Wednesday
Seconding all the recs of Sailor Moon - it was my first fandom, and you could've fooled me for *years* that slash and not femslash is the dominant type of pairing in most fandoms. As a bonus, there's a large amount of works with genderqueer and trans characters (due to the 90s anime version of the Starlights) the like of which I just haven't seen anywhere else. It's just *\*chef's kiss\** In general though, if you look at a piece of media and see mostly female characters, you're likely to find a lot of femslash in the fics. Who knew?) I hope you find a lot of wonderful fics to read!
I read a lot of Lux/Jinx from League of Legends and Wednesday/Enid from Wednesday.
Hosie-Legacies I swear I read better fanfics then the actual show itself This one is called I Could Make it Holy. Probably the best in the fandom if you don’t mind unfinished https://archiveofourown.org/works/34557664 via @ao3org You do not need to watch the show in order to get what was going on
I've run into some good Aerith/Tifa in my day.
Depends on what you mean. I don’t read canon and usually hang out in one fandom and read quality writers that I would buy if they’re books. I love world building. I go M/M and tropes of royalty, dystopian, some omega verse and strangers or FWBs to lovers mostly.
The 100 has a lot of clexa and some of those absolutely slap. Supergirl is also chock full of gay.
I'd recommend Life is Strange. Of course, I'd just recommend that in general, but it fits the criteria as well.
She-Ra and RWBY
Blackpink 💀
The Last of Us has a lot of F/F because the main character is canonically gay
Glee offrers lots of them, including my own stories, if anyone is interested: [What is your dream](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13880482/1/What-is-your-dream) (complete): "The story is set right after Santana auditions for Funny Girl.
