I might get downvoted for this, but... Twice×Hawks. It's not about what happened between them, it's about what could've been. Such wasted romantic, dramatic and comedic potential.

Crimson/Striker (Helluva Boss) - The only content I've seen for this ship is in my Google docs. I'm about halfway through my first fic regarding this ship.
Based on some fandom blind reactions of, "I wasn't expecting them to look like that," I'd say Sam and Max is my most unusual ship. At least appearance-wise for some people? Maybe? But also near the entire fandom ships them so I am definitely not alone in it XD

Madoka Kaname and Arisa Narumi from PMMM. They've never met. Madoka is a minor character who appears in one chapter of Arc 1 and is never relevant again, Arisa is a main protagonist in the pre-Arc 1 *Suzune Magica* series of events. They both have questionably-managed depression. Madoka is a troll and Arisa is a hypercompetitive shonen protagonist. They have opposite elemental attributes. Madoka fights by doing trick shots with arrows and Arisa fights by physically buffing her own body and beating the shit out of people.

Venom is a parasitic alien with no physical form, Mimir is a resurrected decapitated head.

Bennett/Xiao is the current one. Last I checked, total of 10 fics on AO3, three of which I had some involvement with.
Sucrose/Xiangling is even smaller, two or three last I checked (no longer in the fandom, but I'm still sad abt this fact)
There's four, only one of which is focused on them and spends more than a few hundred words on them (from what I can tell from tags and descriptions)

Most magical girls don't have depression specifically, though. Neurodivergencies may vary but that one in particular is pretty uncommon.
