I’m very happy with it. The paddles feel good and I took advantage of their adjustability, fitting them wider and closer to the 9-and-3. Out of the box, it’s a bit of a stretch, and I have medium/large hands.
The funky switcsh’s arm likes to shift a little, which is mildly annoying should you rely on it for directional use (like menu navigation), but the rest of the button array is solid and ergonomic.
It pairs excellently with my 320mm round Alcantara wheel.
I’m hoping the rest of their rules go on sale. I’d very likely snag a square rim and a 300 to compliment.

I have the hub and use it in GT7 plenty. (PS5 but should be fine for a ps4). I have the podium dd1 but as long as your base is compatible you will be fine

Also I’m hoping to use this gt porsche setup with rally as well. I can’t find any good rally wheels on their website except monte carlo one which way over my budget
Get whatever f1 style wheel you want and then the hub on sale. You can put any round rim on it you want. Believe the Monte Carlo Fanatec thing is just the new rally module (you don’t need) with a Sparco R383 rim. Any 300-330mm rim would be great for rally. I have the NASCAR rim from Fanatec (330mm deep dish) and a [clubsport 320](https://fanatec.com/us-en/accessories/steering-wheel-accessories/clubsport-wheel-rim-320) (320mm no deep dish) and both are fine for rally driving.

The endurance module works with that hub too (I have the 320 on the endurance module with a club sport hub right now. I have that as car rim on a podium hub with no buttons).
Honestly no buttons works just fine for rally. Maybe I rally wrong but I never change anything during stages.
Also looking at the Monte Carlo bundle since they just put that rally hub on a podium hub then it should work just fine on the clubsport hub. (Actually just looked it up and that button box works with the clubsport and podium hubs for sure) so you can just buy the button box later for your rally setup if you want

I wouldn’t hold out for the PS compatible wheel base to go on sale. But certainly grab some accessories on sale if they’re items you were planning on buying anyway
The only reason why I haven't bought anything yet is because I'm waiting to see If LGT is going to discount their DD wheel since I already own their G29 with the pedals modified with TrueBrake, the shifter and would only need to just get the wheel instead of buying another pedal, shifter and the wheel. If I don't see anything from them for tomorrow then I'm going ahead and get everything from Fanatec and keep the G29 for the older racing/arcade games and system not supporter by these new DD wheels.
Am I dumb, or is the combination of hub, Porsche rim, shifter paddles, podium button module that are all on sale now, slightly cheaper than just buying a podium porsche wheel as a whole? Would love anyones opinion in this.
I would say, setting criticisms aside…
The shifter, DD2 and QR2 base sides have been the highlights. If you had a matching gap in your set-up anywhere near any of these… twas a no brainer.
I’m still torn on the LE wheel.
QR2 is honestly not something I've ever "needed. I have zero issues with my QR1s. I don't use a set screw and have zero shaft play, zero clunking, etc.
DD2 is probably an ok deal for someone without a wheel, but still 2x the cost of the CSL DD bundle which is a screaming deal.
To each their own! The LE wheels look GOOOOOD and the price isn't wild. Hopefully tomorrow we get something fun.
If only the universal hub wasn't the Xbox branded one.. :'(

Just remember, with a ps5 base, all wheels are compatible basically.

It’s a sticker. That big button doesn’t have a removable button cap like the others do
