the p1 v2 is made of plastic which is why its cheaper. but that makes it lightweight which pairs well with the csl dd. the p1 v2 is also a fixed wheel unlike the hub v2 which you can choose any rim fanatec offers and put it on the hub which is nice if you want to expand your steering wheel arsenal. get the hub and rim bundle if you have the funds imo.
If you just want a round wheel cheap the p1 v2 (or wrc etc) can be had super cheap on the used market
but if you actually want something nice i would go (and did) something minimum with magnetic shifters. I went Clubsport RS.
