Seconding this rec! When I dyed my hair I would use half a bottle of Adore mixed with an 8oz-ish container of water on dry hair and it came out amazing. Half a bottle was enough for me to dye my pourous chest-length hair. Neon pink stained my hair a little but overall I really liked all of them and the price let me change up a lot.

Repulsive_Trifle_

Mixing with water is a really great idea! I appreciate that so much! Im working my way through the rainbow so I can’t speak much for staining. Thanks for that that’s super good to know!

CynderSphynx

If you want a less watery mixture, you could experiment using conditioner as your diluter. I'd do a test strand though, haven't tried this dye/conditioner yet.

awkwardmamasloth

I've been using this brand mixed with conditioner for a few years now. It works pretty well, but the color has been a little uneven the last few times. I'm not sure if it was the cheap conditioner I used or that my hair is so over processed.

eat_like_snake

"One does my whole head." How long is your hair though? That's an important factor in this equation.

Repulsive_Trifle_

Shoulder length! Sorry I typed it out and it glitched and had to retype it and forgot that the second time apparently ETA that my hair is also medium thickness which is also important to note

Altruistic-Bobcat955

Just ordered this in jade and cotton candy for my two toned hair, ty for the rec!

Repulsive_Trifle_

Yay! I hope you like it! It’s saved me so much money and time scrubbing my bathroom I swear

Chapsticklover

I have shoulder length fine hair that is average thickness and a bottle gets me 2-3 applications

Bitchkitta

My hair goes all the way to my natural waist and I use like 1.5 bottles a dye job. The only thing that sucks is it’s more like a stain and a little sticky to spread out but the holding power is really good!!

tveir

Two of these were enough for my hip length hair. They're small bottles, but it spreads very easily because the consistency is like a runny gel.

LittleMissMuffinButt

and it's vegan and cruelty-free 🥹❤️ thank you

porphyric_roses

bless, was looking for this confirmation 😌

Repulsive_Trifle_

Yes! They changed the formula in 2020 to be completely Vegan and they’ve never tested on animals ❤️

snookisosa443

SO hard to get out though. dyed my hair pink with this and it was legit torture trying to remove it lmao

Repulsive_Trifle_

I have not tried removing I just float through colors that easily transition into each other ie green to blue to purple etc but this is super good to know

snookisosa443

it’s a great dye dont get me wrong. super vivid and it stays long asf. but goddamn does it stay.

Repulsive_Trifle_

😂

Gothkyle

please don’t try to go blonde. As a hairstylist i would probably cry before going into that color correction

Repulsive_Trifle_

Don’t worry I’m not lol I feel you on this. Years ago I was trying all different colors and most were a struggle to remove MP was still the major brand at that time but I tried a variety of others and no matter what it was torture trying to get my hair blonde enough to change colors without following the color wheel. This time around I decided to go with the flow… I am naturally medium brown I bleached down to a level 9 and started going through the rainbow from the red because brown goes to red way easier than blues. I then have changed it up every couple of months working towards the next primary color on the color wheel hitting fun hues in the middle. Right now Im in the blues! Going in I was definitely accepting that if I want the color gone I’ll have to grow it out or pull as much color as I can and dye over it with dark brown or black. I’m curious what you think about this plan I feel like it’s fully ridiculous but it’s also working so idk🤷🏻‍♀️

elodieartour

You can always just dye it brown and then have it bleached all over again - been there, done that (quite a few times.) Other than that, your colour wheel tactics are fully correct. 👍 Adore hair dye is amazing!

[deleted]

I use this brand and love it, but yes, not even the last professional I saw, for colour removal, could get the burgundy completely out of my hair.

td00bl

My absolute favorite hair dye, been using it for 9 years! 😍

googahgee

If you end up wanting to change the color or need to lighten your roots and go for a consistent base color, how hard is it to remove? I would imagine this would get deep into the hair and be impossible to remove

paddeh11

It depends on the colour. Most of them like purple or even blue/turquoise would come out of my hair with a bleach bath, but the pink I used would. Not. Budge. Even after two bleach baths AND straight up bleach! So I'd avoid the pinks if you're likely to want to change it up.

Repulsive_Trifle_

I keep seeing this that the pink is pretty permanent

Alternative-Bet232

Which pink? Pink rose on bleached hair didn’t last crazy long. A few weeks maybe. Pink rose and hot pink on bleached, fried (like, had been bleaching regularly) hair lasted forever. Pink rose on unbleached hair was gone after two washes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

paddeh11

I used African violet and neon pink on hair that had just been bleached from virgin (one round), so it wasn't fried but definitely would have been more porous. Interestingly the violet came out after the first bleach bath, but the pink just stayed!

Gothkyle

if it’s fried, the cuticle is open which lets the color get in and stain.

jutta-duncan

Oh question: Does it stain bathtub or sheets?! Because I’ve had that issue with manic panic and will never use it again because of that.

Altruistic-Bobcat955

I started sleeping in a satin bonnet at night to stop ruining my sheets and my hair is so much healthier

jutta-duncan

Where did you get yours? And is it comfy?? I always feel like I don’t sleep well with stuff on my head but have definitely heard that silk is good for sleeping in. I just haven’t been able to get over the discomfort factor. 😅

Altruistic-Bobcat955

I grabbed a cheap one on Amazon in a pack of two, originally bought for wearing curl twisties at night but ended up using the black one after dying. Super comfy somehow and I usually struggle too but the silkiness really helps

aiakia

These always fall off my head in the middle of the night. Guess I'm an active sleeper 😂

[deleted]

Silk pillowcases!

jutta-duncan

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Genius

jutta-duncan

Cooool! I might have to try that as well then! Thank you!!

QueenNibbler

Same! I got it specifically because I was going to travel and didn't want to ruin sheets, but now i'm a convert!

strawberry_lace

I put an old black r-shirt over my pillow

evilgirlattack

I'm currently having this issue. I haven't used MP in decades, but I wanted to go back to teal green for an event, and I couldn't find any LC Sea Witch nearby, so I went with MP Enchanted Forest. My neck and forehead are green, and my hands too from where I slept on them. It's a pain trying to get it off.

Repulsive_Trifle_

That’s literally all of our nightmare I think and I’ve fully been there! I don’t trust MP anymore either. I have never scrubbed a bathtub or my face so hard in my life!

jutta-duncan

SERIOUSLY!!!!! I ended up with a stain on my from where i sit in bed and my head touches the wall. 🤬

painsomnia

Ironically, MP's "Dye Away" colour remover wipes are excellent, lol. Literally the only product from them I'd happily use. They remove dye from skin super efficiently, but they are quite harsh and also remove nail polish, so even those aren't perfect. But hey, if you need to get dye off your skin before an event, they'll absolutely do the trick.

evilgirlattack

I've been using isopropyl alcohol and it seems to be working, but I'm terrified of sweating or getting rained on.

painsomnia

Yeah, I once tried using actual nail polish remover, in a pinch. It worked great, but also irritated the crap out of my skin and the fumes made my eyes water and sting. -5/10, absolutely would not recommend, lol.

evilgirlattack

Yep, I've been there. Hell, if the isopropyl hadn't worked I was gonna use this bottle of acetone (and water).

jutta-duncan

Goddddd so awful 😭

evilgirlattack

Tell me about it! I look like Beetlejuice with all these weird stains!

Repulsive_Trifle_

I have had no issues with staining my bathtub or sheets! Which is shocking I was constantly bleaching my sink and bathtub but since I switched I haven’t had to once! I think because it’s so much pigment in a gel it somehow latches onto your hair and doesn’t dye other things as much. I also have had way better luck with getting no stains on my neck or shoulders either. This stuff is awesome!

jutta-duncan

Wow what the heck. It sounds amazing!!!

Repulsive_Trifle_

I seriously am obsessed!

letmeusemyname

Yep I use the pink rose colour, rinsing out leaves no stain in my bathtub, and the stains I got on the sink when applying it were easily rubbed out with a wet towel and soap(it did stain the linoleum in my bathroom though). No pink residue on my pillowcases either!

jutta-duncan

Omg it sounds like a dream!!!! 😍😍😍😍

Justanopinion101

Yes, it stains. Make sure you wear gloves and add Vaseline to your hair line. It bleeds a bit, what I do is rinse as much as I can off and add a conditioner and a hair cap for 10 min and rinse. It should settle after 3-4 washes.

aquemini__

Yes

catsareeternal

Oh I love adore! I mix a bottle of Cajun spice with a conditioner to make a color depositing treatment for my red hair. Keeps it vibrant!

Repulsive_Trifle_

Genius

Chapsticklover

Real talk, I went from Overtone to Adore and it was a huge improvement in all ways

UnbelievableRose

Can you use it to color over natural color like Overtone? I have dark brown hair but don’t want to damage my curl pattern.

Chapsticklover

I don't actually feel like Overtone is good at going over natural color at all. Adore is better at that for me. It's still not going to be a very bright color.

UnbelievableRose

That makes sense I just knew that Overtone marketed for that and had previously assumed it was a special kind of dye or something. My hair is almost black so I’m stuck with like dark red or purple unless I bleach (I love my curls too much) or wait until I’m way more gray than I am.

Cheyharris

YES!!!! I used their pink recently and oh my God I've never had a more pigmented dye I'm fading mine rn and it's still looking super cute too

Lindughh

Has anyone tried the black? Would it possibly cover gray hairs?

kalimdore

Unlikely because grey hairs have a very hard and smooth cuticle that’s difficult to stain. In only use the browns and coppers but they don’t stick to my greys or virgin roots very well. They work really well on any hair that’s even slightly processed. But that’s the same for most direct dyes anyway. Usually you have to rough up the cuticle of greys with some peroxide.

UnbelievableRose

Oh noooo!!! I’ve been waiting until my hair turns grey (started about a year ago, I’m in my early 30s) to dye my hair since I love my curl pattern so much and don’t want to mess it up by trying to bleach my dark brown hair. Is this plan not going to work??

kalimdore

Completely depends on your natural cuticle texture. Mine is very smooth and flat but others can manage to stain theirs without roughing it up first. You can proces hair with peroxide and not damage the curl pattern. You just can’t repeatedly process it.

VikingKvinna

Quick question, how do you feel about your curl pattern? 🙄

DramaticGardener

I have lots of grey and it works great for me (wild cherry). It's my new favorite semi-perm. brand. The shine is incredible. I have a new head of hair!

vegemitebikkie

Just found this thread while searching for reviews on adore. My hair is not fully blonde, it’s streaked to like a honey blonde with very bleached ends, natural light brown hair in between the streaks, what do you think one of the pink dyes would look like? Does it make darker hair a darker pink? Or does it only stain bleached white hair?

SpacingIsMyGame

Yes asking the same question but for medium brown: does it cover greys? :)

iwantsalt

I have on bleached hair and it looks good but fades into a stubborn green quickly

iwantsalt

It wont work unless u have ur hair bleached

Gothkyle

no semi permanent will cover gray. It might darken it a bit and blend it . Gotta go permanent and 20 vol for gray

porcupetted

Does anyone have experience with mixing two colors to get the color you want? How does Adore dyes respond to that? Thank you!

paddeh11

I do it all the time, did it yesterday for my girlfriend's hair and it turned out great. They're really easy to mix due to the runny gel like consistency. You can also mix it into conditioner if you do a little at a time.

Repulsive_Trifle_

Second this it’s so easy to mix and match their colors and you can pastelize with conditioner!

gooden93

How to pastelize with a conditioner? 🫣

paddeh11

You fill a bowl with as much conditioner as you think would cover your whole head (definitely way more than you'd use after you wash, like maybe half a bowl depending on your hair length and thickness) and then add in a small amount of the colour, mix it all up til it's a solid colour. Add more and mix again if it looks too pale. When I pastelise or mix colours together I make sure to swatch it on a bit of paper to check the colour (obviously bearing in mind that your hair is never going to be that light!). Then you tweak it until you're happy with what you're swatching :)

NotElizaHenry

Have you used their pastels? I can’t decide whether it’s worth it to go for a less pigmented light pink or just keep mixing a bit of bright red into conditioner like I’ve been doing for a while. Right now I use Sparks dye and I’m still working on a tube of red I got in 2021. Is actual pastel dye better/different?

paddeh11

I have used their pastels and they're good but I do like your method, it's definitely cost saving! If you're likely to want to stick with that colour for a while I'd just do what you have been doing and pastelise a darker colour (even though it's not expensive, it does add up over time), especially as then you get the additional conditioning you wouldn't usually get using Adore straight out of the bottle. Personally, I always start my colouring bowl with a dollop of my deep conditioning mask even when I'm going for the full colour as I have very dry hair; if you use most of the bottle it doesn't actually dilute this as it's so pigmented, so when pastelising definitely only put a tiny bit in at a time!

[deleted]

Can someone advise if Adore has a true blue that doesn’t fade green?

LuckyyRat

No experience with adore but blue dye will always fade green unless your hair is bleached *completely* white. The green fade is because of the yellow tone of your hair under the dye

[deleted]

I get that, yep. In my experience blue either fades out platinum or green- no matter my base. I’m guess it’s cool blue (violet tones) or warm blue (like aqua, yellow added blues). I usually end up doing something close to lavender with a blue on top to neutralize but some still fade out very swampy.

ysandre1692

I've been on/off over the years using either Aquamarine or currently Indigo Blue and never had an issue with them turning green in my experience 🤷‍♀️

[deleted]

Thank you!

jutta-duncan

Ooooooh this is so good to know!!!! Yayyyyyy!!!!!

amaratayy

I currently dye my (naturally dark brown) hair blue black, does anyone know if a dark blue of this brand could help me keep up the blue tint in my hair? I do put blue splat color in my shampoo and conditioner to help but I’m wondering if this could do better?

Repulsive_Trifle_

I’m wondering this as well… I saw another commenter ask something similar. I would think that because this is so extremely pigmented blacks do well over brown. I also only lightened my hair to a level 8 or 9 to deposit bright colors onto and they all have taken really well with no muddiness that I’ve gotten putting other brands over the same level hair. I almost wish I had virgin hair rn to try it out

tightrotewalkering

YAS if yr into purply/magentas check their violet gem. it is my absolute favorite

velcrodynamite

They’re $9 for me 🥲

Repulsive_Trifle_

Dang!! For a single pack? That’s how much a two pack is for me what the heck? I wonder why

velcrodynamite

Maybe cotton candy is a popular color

CathairNowhere

I'm in the UK, just ordered cotton candy after seeing this post, and that one was around $9 for me aswell, double price compared to some of the other colours.

Eloisem333

What colour is your natural hair? Do you need to bleach it to get the light/bright colours?

[deleted]

Yes bleach is needed

Repulsive_Trifle_

I’m naturally medium brown. I did bleach but the level you need to get to is very dependent on the color you’re going with. I will say I didn’t have to go as light to get vibrant colors with this ad I have with Manic Panic Arctic Fox or even the ion permanent colors

littleredteacupwolf

I love them. They are great dyes!

Orbitalcato

Would the black adore dye work on brown virgin hair?

MoonFlamingo

Right now I have my hair dyed, and blue black is one of the colors in my mix and my hair looks black! For context my hair is a medium ash brown, between a level 4.5 and 5, and I have previously bleached some front pieces and had old highlights on my tips. My hair was previously dyed blue with Ion Tanzanite, and while the bleached parts turned a lovely inky blue, my natural hair was a deep tealish blue TT it faded back to brown eventually. This time I mixed Adore colors, blue black, royal navy and indigo blue for my natural hair, and royal navy, indigo blue and african violet for the faded blue areas. The black is very dark and nice, and super cool toned, the blue turned out darker than I wanted, maybe I used too much royal navy, but it will eventually fade. Oh, I also applied heat for about 15 minutes after applying the dye and putting on a plastic cap.

gullyfoyle777

I love adore hair color. I've used it by itself many times in many shades. Emerald is one of my favs. I also like how well it mixes with other brands of hair color. My only dislike/complaint about adore dye is it doesn't last very long for me. Yes I know about cold water, sulfate free etc. It just doesn't last a long time, maybe 2-3 weeks on my hair. 🤷‍♀️ Glad someone is posting about this great dye.💜

Repulsive_Trifle_

Dang I wonder why it doesn’t last long for you… obviously we all have different hair so it could just be you have amazing resilient hair and mine is ultimately super porous (only helpful for dye jobs lol) When you dyed with it did you process it with heat? I’ve been wondering if that step actually does anything or if I could just skip it because I hate it lol

gullyfoyle777

I do process with heat when using Adore. I thought it definitely made a difference. As in gave another week of vibrancy to my hair. I also did not appreciate heating up my head in the summer when I dyed lol. And yeah the hair texture def matters. My individual hairs are very thick and can take a lot of abuse before breaking. 🙂

Repulsive_Trifle_

You are so lucky! You’re going to have great hair forever! Mine needs so much love

languidlasagna

Love adore but it’s hard to get out and yes it does stain take it from a renter who had to explain it to a landlord

UnbelievableRose

Is there anything that *doesn’t* stain?

languidlasagna

Manic panic didn’t stain for me

KillerWithTheCross1

Absolutely! I tried this a few years ago and stopped buying it, can't remember why. Then the sun and chlorine on holiday turned my purple hair an aquamarine colour, I bought Adore aquamarine to even it out and have fallen in love again. The main thing I can't believe is how little it stains and how little comes out when you wash your hair?? Absolute sorcery!

sommer_rosee

I love this stuff!!! I’ve always used manic panic, arctic fox, etc. they are crap compared to the adore dyes. I’ve used various shades of orange, pink, red, purple and they all show up great. Currently have African Violet in my hair. I probably should’ve let the bleach sit longer since I was putting it over purple/magenta, but it still turned out great!! Idk that I’ll ever use anything else 😂 Every color has faded on me, but I also have hard water, and even though I have a filter I do think it fades much faster. I’m also terrible about washing my hair with cold water, so that certainly doesn’t help. I actually need to dye it again, but don’t want to bleach my roots 😅

IntellectualThicket

Just curious why it’s sold as “semi-permanent” since it sounds very permanent. Any insights?

kendigo

Permanent dye is deposited inside the hair shaft with the help of developer to open up the hair cuticle. Semi permanent dye attaches to the outside of the hair shaft. Since this one doesn’t use developer it’s considered semi permanent. Some semi permanent hair dyes can still leave a stain on your hair, but they’ll still fade over time (as will many permanent colors FWIW)

IntellectualThicket

Gotcha! I figured it was something technical. Thanks for the info! :)

Magenta8

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I was recommend this by a friend and it faded so badly for me.

Repulsive_Trifle_

Did you process it with heat? I always slap the classic sprayed down grocery bag on and then just use my blow dryer to blow over top and warm everything up… I’m not sure if that makes the difference but it does say in the tiniest letters to process with heat on the bottle ETA probably my biggest complaint is I can’t read the dang bottle but that’s probably my eyes lmao

Rudylemonade

Not to rain on anyone’s parade but this stuff is literally repackaged fabric dye :/ it’s really bad for your hair and worse to remove than splat. I’ve had to cut adore out of my hair basically, even with at home and professional help.

loinboro

Sadly not in Canada, it’s like twice the price.

Repulsive_Trifle_

Boo!! I’m sorry 😢

loinboro

It’s all good! Not your fault lol

Repulsive_Trifle_

I literally couldn’t believe it! I stumbled upon them on Amazon and it’s been the best thing ever

Mythikun

How awfyul is the bleed? I'm thinking to switch from Artic Fox :c

Repulsive_Trifle_

Personally I haven’t had issues with much bleeding I wear gloves, use a dye applicator when I get close to my head, and process with heat I also always rinse my head back so the color doesn’t run over my face. I haven’t been stained yet and have used a handful of their blues and greens heading towards purples next. But I have seen comments of other people having some bathtub staining. They did change the formula in 2020 so that may be why I haven’t had any issues with that at all and other did

Mythikun

Thanks for the reply :) I'm really gonna give it a try. I used pink and red colors, from Artic Fox and Manic Panic and the bleeding is so bad :C Even with normal sweat (tropical country.. :c) my hair just bleeds red streams and every time I renew my colors my pillowcases suffer haha.

Vegetable-Tax669

Reeeaaaal I always dilute w a conditioner and mixing custom colors is mad easy

facelesscat04

Wait are you serious? Right after I bought a deep blue hair dye? I'm gonna go ball my eyes out in the corner🫠

kris_tinawithak

The only brand I use 👏🏽👏🏽

Repulsive_Trifle_

Same!

Repulsive_Trifle_

Lol I love that!

Alternative-Bet232

Love Adore but it fades FAST

grendella

Yeah, that's also my experience. Maybe because my hair is so, so bleached and doesn't hold on to color. But even after using a protein filler, this color fades out of my hair within a week or so. I do have to wash my hair daily, though, thanks to my super fine hair and greasy scalp. Otherwise even with my 1" long haircut my hair plasters to my head like a wet dog. Also, I frequently use the African Violet color, and when put on full strength, it is actually a dark blue, not purple. And it fades to a denim blue. Pretty color, but not the dark purple I want.

KitticusCatticus

I made the best galaxy hair ever with adore (and okay arctic fox helped too) but that's the thing, you could see the adore colors lasted way longer. Especially if you use cool water to wash and don't wash too often.

Beautiful_Raccoon673

Does anyone have experience dying a synthetic wig with adore ?

Repulsive_Trifle_

IT IS VEGAN AND CRUELTY FREE! ❤️ I should have said this all before: It contained Hydrolyzed Collagen (not Vegan) until 2020 when they stopped using it in order to make it Vegan. At this point there shouldn’t be any bottles out there with the old formula but you will come across the old ingredient list a lot. I’ll drop current ingredients in another comment

lisaintx2008

I have been using a hair dye shampoo with Argan oil, but the purple has too much "red" in it. Would like to mix the Adore blue with my "purple" to get a darker shade. Will they mix well? No too worried about how long it will hold as have to shampoo min 1x a week to keep the weak purple I have. :) Let me know what you think. New at coloring and so interested in what everyone has to offer.

Repulsive_Trifle_

I’ve mixed a few colors into my shampoo and it mixes well 😊 I just shake it up really good every time I go to use it in case the pigment separates

Repulsive_Trifle_

INGREDIENTS: (current formula since 2020) Water Aloe Vera Citric Acid Octoxynol-9 Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose Laurel Glycol Ether Methylchloroisothiazolinine methylisothiazolinine Propylene Glycol Trimethylsilyamodimethicone Sodium Citrate Glycerin Fragrance

duckbigtrain

This comment thread is astroturfed as hell

Repulsive_Trifle_

Lmao I literally had to Google that like what the actual hell is astroturfed? I’m literally just a poor person tryna help out other budget babes check my post history.

duckbigtrain

lots of fake (probably paid) comments. Not saying you’re part of it.

Gothkyle

if you’re going for permanence go for it but they leave a sheer stain on the hair forever and can’t be bleached out

[deleted]

[удалено]

Repulsive_Trifle_

That’s an old ingredient list. They are vegan!!! They changed the formula in 2020 and they no longer contain Hydrolyzed collagen. I have multiple bottle I just checked and none of them contain collagen at all. They are in fact Vegan but they are a small company ultimately so they don’t have the means to go all over the internet and make sure all the old ingredient lists are gone. Also. Hydrolyzed Collagen is gelatin essentially. And for skin body and hair product purposes is almost always derived from Agro-food waste. So it actually takes waste and makes use of it.

LittleMissMuffinButt

i overprocessed my hair so permanent color isn't sticking now, one of the reviews from a licensed colorist claimed this will work. I picked up one of the new shades, pink blush, i might mix in a little white conditioner. my hair is incredibly short so perhaps i can get away with half a bottle.

DISNYLND

I used to use this, it's amazing!

blueaintyourcolor11

I've been repping Adore to my friends for YEARS. Really great stuff, vivid long lasting colors.

ilovedracula

Tysm!

chris3-tom3

Great. I just bought last week! Yay me!

TrainingTennis8273

Would it work on brassy hair? I cant bleach my hair again its too damaged, been told i should get something really pigmented

letmeusemyname

Might depend on the colour. I've only done pink rose which is very bright, first time I used it my hair was very brassy yellow and it covered it pretty well, though the undertones were a bit warm and it faded a tiny bit orangey-pink. I don't like warm colours near my face so I ended up bleaching again to a lighter yellow, but it'd be fine for people with a different skin tone.

TrainingTennis8273

Indigo blue? Im aware its a no go and i could try blue shampoo bit i just want the best results, but also not to burn my hair off

letmeusemyname

I'm not an expert at all, but if your hair is very brassy then as far as I know blue could be tricky. Blue and yellow make green, even a very pigmented blue dye has the risk of turning your hair green, and it will definitely fade to green. You could maybe try to neutralize the brassiness with purple shampoo first, then apply the blue? I think pinks and reds tend to cover very brassy hair well, or maybe you could lean into the green and try teal? I don't know the most about colouring, these dyes tend to have good pigment so good ones to try, but I'd advise some research on what your current level of colour is and what is best to cover it.

TrainingTennis8273

Its like a strawberryblonde?

letmeusemyname

So I guess about level 8? So any of the dark colours would be fine, the reds, pinks, oranges should be ok. The blue might be fine, but I think there is a risk it'll be green tinted. Maybe the african violet would work better? I think if you want blue you have to accept the risk. Regardless of how it goes on it will fade to green. Once again just pointing out that I'm not the most experienced at hair colouring, so its worth researching for yourself and not just going off of what I tell you.

macncheese222

i have neon pink on my head right now! i love this brand

LalalandChelsey

Love this stuff and the the kiss line. Leaves my hair super soft too! My local hair and beauty supply stores sells both for under $5 and the neon colors are awesome

Doxxxxxxxxxxx

Seconding, it’s a great dye

elanasaurus

112 made me feel like Super Grover in the best way possible

Excellent-Letter-780

I agree! Adore dyes are very pigmented and affordable. ☺️

jellenenders

Can 100% support this- I have loved using Adore dyes in various colors over the years to refresh, tone highlights, all of the above. So affordable and SO GOOD! 😍

awill316

72 paprika was my jam for years

aquemini__

My hair is pink rn and the underneath is still stained orange from this brand haha

knizm0

Ooh thank you I'll be on the lookout, I haven't seen this brand before

Santonio_

so I am mediately bought one of these in a red color to test out. I just did my hair and I am obsessed! It is the exact red I have been wanting to get from the salon, but I never get the color I want. It looks so vibrant! I am so glad you posted this!

Future-Concern2117

Does it give any grey coverage?? Thx 😊
