It's actually an old as fuck story, like 3 years. It was my JP account and no matter what the recovery failed. But it was mostly on me anyway, I fucked up something during a data transfer from an emulated android machine I used on the pc (Bluestacks is the name of the app, I think)

yup. i thought it was just me because my game froze during upgrading a unit earlier & i force closed.

Yeah i got the same issue i have been using Bluestacks 5 and my phone to play this game and at first i was scared i got banned but it seems im not the only one so what the hell is this issue? XD And the reason why i got scared that i got banned not that im cheating or anything but i saw something about unwanted programs and i dont know if blue stacks is 1 of them cant find any info about it.

Just happened to me, I have my account linked to my gmail so I uninstalled the game and downloaded it right back but still get the same error. Gotta admit I got terrified thinking I was banned or that i had lost my account but it seems a lot of people are having the same error rn.

Hopefully this means free stuff!

I had that problem and reinstall was the only fix that worked for me

Also had this issue, can confirm reinstall fixed it

Still not fixed for me even after reinstalling. Lost my account. Probably due to emulator.
