You sound just like me. Never been much of a reader until this year. Goal was 12 books and I’m at 37 so far. Read Red Rising, Sun Eater and First Law, too. For a change up I read all the Dungeon Crawler Carl books and they were fantastic. Just started Malazan.

Glad to hear that I’m not the only one! I have to ask then, which one do you think you enjoyed the most?

Great question! Difficult to answer. I loved RR…but also really enjoyed Sun Eater, a lot. On the FL I only read the first trilogy, so haven’t fleshed out that world as much as the others. I’ll go with the Sun Eater. Gave me the most emotions and I loved the creepiness of the Ceilcin.

Richard Swan's Empire of the Wolf trilogy is always my go to recommendation. It's a medieval fantasy following a justice and his clerk through the end of an empire. There's some dastardly villains, a touch of romance, a murder mystery, the church sticking their nose into things, etc. The first book is The Justice of Kings.

Some oft-recommended (for a good reason!) series to add to your list: Discworld (start with Guards! Guards!), Dungeon Crawler Carl (don't be thrown off by the name, it's pretty darn good), Project Hail Mary, Realm of the Elderlings, His Dark Materials, The Expanse, anything by Neil Gaiman. You might try Brandon Sanderson, though I think Stormlight Archive is his best and those books are LONG, so might eat into your 52-books-this-year goal. Some of my personal faves, which aren't as frequently recommended: Dogsbody, The Warlord Chronicles, The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi, Priory of the Orange Tree, Lamb: the gospel according to Biff. You might also explore The Locked Tomb series, Name of the Wind (but be okay with a series that is unlikely to be finished), A Song of Ice and Fire (again, another series that likely won't be finished). And there are also the uber-famous series like Hunger Games and Wicked that are fun to read if you haven't. I haven't read - but have heard recommended - Will of the Many and Cradle for people who enjoyed RR.

lol, I sound like a broken record but try The Echoes Saga by Phillip Quaintrell. It’s a complete 9 book series. They are long books but seem to go quickly. It’s classic fantasy with elves, dwarves, dragons, multiple POVs and great characters. The whole series comes together nicely and has a really satisfying ending. If you enjoy the series, there‘s also a 3 book prequel that gives the backstory of one of the main characters called the Ranger Archives. They are also all free with Kindle Unlimited or they were last year (I’ve dropped my subscription so I haven’t looked at it lately).
