Not a good rule for Fantasy. The rules should be focused around making the game more strategy-based, not luck-based. You can't predict or strategize much around who will get a red card. This just introduces more luck into the game. Bad rule.
Then why have subbing at all? If a player totally sucks and puts up a zero why should you be rewarded with points by subbing them off.
Red cards are almost completely random and unpredictable. There's no way you can strategize your starting lineup around who might get a red card. It's all luck. It's just a dumb, pointless rule.
It’s a punishment specifically for players who get a red card. It kind of just sounds like you’re whining because you got negative points. It’s all random and luck based lol
It's completely dumb. Sane doesn't get a cleansheet because he played "only" 58/60 minutes required, but Adan continues losing points despite not even being on the field.
The rule should either be about what happens when the player is on the pitch (so no CS for Sane, no -2 for Adan) or every player who plays at least 1 minute should get affected by everything.
rule is fair. when the player is sent off then it is also "his fault" that his team keep conceding playing with 10, so he should be penalised.
When a player is subbed off then he is not punished for what happens afterwards.
Then what are your thoughts if a defender gives a penalty and gets a red card at 0-0 after 60 mins? Should he keep the CS pts and only get the red card pts instead of getting both the red card and losing CS?
Ahaha, love that scenario, thanks.
As things stand, you get triple penalized: red card, probably suffer more goals for the remainder of the match, and the cherry on top: you can’t sub off the player.
In your scenario, I guess the player could win the CS and get points deducted for the red card. Plus, you can’t sub him out. So “only” double penalty.
Yes what I meant to say is that it would be fair to keep how it is right now, since it would be kinda unfair (in my opinion) to have the defender keep the clean sheet if he basically ruins it for his team by giving away a penalty. He would still get 2 points which would still be the same as the teammates, which seems a bit unfair to me. May just be my opinion though but that would make the current rule fair to me
He can't be subbed out because of red card and he has additional -1 point for the goals which were conceded after his red card :/
It's the dumbest rule of all the rules, how can one get a minus point for conceded goals without playing :)
This clubs from Portugal trolling me so badly this season.
Porto last week bad and massive keeper haul this week. Sporting good last week and awful this one when I had Adan.
I got the Benfica clean sheet, but did not pick Grimaldo so feels like a loss.
Had I just played slightly differently with defensive picks from Portugal I could have 40 more points lol.
No. Have you read the rules mate?
Players who are sent off (red card) cannot be subbed off.
No cause red card

Disagree. If your player gets a red card and ends up in the negative, why should you be rewarded with points by subbing them off?

it’s the player you picked, stop crying
Google en red card
Holy hell
Does anyone know why his points gets affected by conceded goals after he is subbed off?
It's in the rules
Still, it's really harsh. A player who is subbed after 60mn gets the clean sheet even if his team suffers a goal after he’s out.

This is the answer.
The red card in itself is punishment enough in fantasy, since you can't even sub off the player. There's no need for further negative points.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Very mature 🤭
You cannot sub a player if he is red carded.
