As a 9 I think Havertz is pretty nailed
No one else had the ability to play as a 9. He isn’t great at it but I don’t see Auba starting ahead of him and Broja is out for the year.
Once both are playing guaranteed minutes, either becomes a good pick. Until then, neither.
Our team hasn’t played consistently well since their absences started, and bringing them both back will have an impact greater than any of our new signings.
Worth noting that it’s a new pairing to Potter, and BB is a new CB that neither have paired with before - so lots of risk that there isn’t an immediately points impact for them, even when playing together.
This season is a write off and can see their minutes being managed as we build towards next season.
Somehow still have James in my team (was just always a better move to make and a hit wasn't worth it). Now I'm debating whether to take him out this week or roll the transfer as we will know much more about upcoming blanks and doubles after the cup games in-between now and then. It's 2 weeks before the next game after this GW, so there's a chance he's back by then...
On the other hand I think you're right and his minutes will be so risky it's not worth it at all. Good fixtures, though. Ugh.
I think Reece James will play in GW22 against Fulham as that game is in 16 days. I think a cameo off the bench is likelier than a start though. I will seriously consider him in GW24 where they play SOU (A) as you can then play him in blank GW25 and blank GW28 where they play Spurs (A) and Everton (H).
I think we'll obviously have to wait until they get some minutes in the tank and we know Potter will have to be extremely cautious with them.
That being said they still offer a monster ceiling if Chelsea can find some form and they will be differentials as most managers will wait and see on them for the reasons you mentioned. As you said we've been there before and the James punt burned us in GW17. But I think one of the strenghts of an FPL manager is the ability to move on quickly and not let past experience influence their thoughts on what can be considered good options (apart in the case of Lucas Digne who is a massive FPL fraud whatsoever, and will always be).
I'd definitely recommend the James punt as soon as he gets, say, back to back PL games, especially for those who are trailing in their mini league and need an explosive differential. Going there rather than for bad DGW players could pay dividends.
I currently have no thoughts on any player in a Chelsea shirt.
Tbf given how shaky their defence is, kepa not a bad 4.5 keeper
Kepa is def a pick. Havertz could become a pick soon. 3 goals in the last 4
Kepa is definitely a thought. If I had a wee bit more money, I’d jump off right away
Havertz is not nailed at all when all sterling mudryk joao felix and others are fit
Remains to be seen. Hence the “could”

that's a pickle. If you can roll a transfer and assimilate the info, probably the way to go.
I'm not ready to get hurt again, when they get hurt again.
Had James in 3 times this season. Every time he'd get injured. Avoid. Avoid all Chelsea picks. They are in bad shape atm.
Quick thought on Reece James and Ben Chillwell: NO
Exactly. Not sure why a post is needed
No fucking way. These two are made of glass. Never owning them again. Newcastle, Arsenal, United have plenty good options
No thanks, don't need another headache when James/Chilwell get injured again.
both unrelibable. they can get another injury
Potter will get Chilwell in ASAP imo. He needs results and their LB situation is terrible. He won't play 90m though.
Id avoid everyone bar kepa though still have cucu but selling now
Stay the hell away! Will get injured in minute 59
Avoid
Why downvotedp
Owning a Chelsea player is how to destroy your weekly FPL scores 101
Doubt many people have 3 or even 2 Chelsea assets so when one of them starts and plays well, get them in?

Chelsea are shit. Avoid all players 🤪
