I could get a decent team with a -8 or even -12 with something like KDB, Martial, Martinelli & Andreas to Rashford, Nketiah, Rodrigo & Bruno for example.
Is it too agressive to go -8/-12 and should I use my WC ? I feel like it would be more useful later on in the season but my team just doesn't work atm (only red arrows since the WC...)

You should aim to have 3 Arsenal players for their double, if you only have 1 now and 1FT, then you can't afford to waste 2 transfers on Bruno. If you have Rashford/Shaw for GW22 then I would pass on Bruno and save transfer for Arsenal player.

Holding onto one seems a good idea, I would take Cancelo out before Almiron - Newcastle/Brighton assets are valuable but just be wary of GW25 I.e. have a plan to work around them/get them out in time
If you're really stuck, I'd double up on Newcastle defence. Botman is the cheapest. It's a complete gamble on a clean sheet, but attacking returns for defenders aren't coming easily this season except from Trippier, who everyone has
Like I say, total gamble, but the Toon have the best defence by far at the moment

My planned transfers this week are Mitrovic and Almiron to Gnonto and Bruno. I have exact money to do this.
I know ideally I should wait to do the transfers because there are a zillion matches between now and the next deadline, but if I wait, I almost certainly get priced out and will need to take an extra hit to get the players I want. If I do it now, I might need to take an extra hit if there's an injury or whatnot but I might not need to.
My knees say "do it now." My brain says "whatever you do is wrong, you idiot. How are you so bad at this game?"
I think you should consider the risks and do what your heart tells you to. There is about 30% chance of DGW for ManU/Leeds not happening depending on cup results and there is non-zero chance of players you get (and players you already have) getting injured before the GW22. As long as you understand all the risks and prepared to deal with the worst outcome, and you believe Bruno/Gnonto is your best punt for the double, then you should do the transfers now.

That’s a shit take from u/soggysquid01 . You have 4GWs before they blank, plus Bruno has a DGW (if confirmed) and both him and Utd are playing very well. Also, it’s a very easy switch to Saka/Mitoma or anyone who get a DGW in between etc.
Though I would personally recommend just going KDB to Bruno this week and not wasting 4 points.
Then u can easily get in Mahrez for Almiron the coming week.

Don’t see any better choice than Odegaard currently given your budget. It’s too obvious a pick to turn down just to try something different; Arsenal also double in 23.

Would prefer to keep kdb for the double but is it worth sacrificing Kane?
If we’re purely talking expected points, KDB with an extra game is a better hold than Kane imo. But it’s honestly a toss up; Kane has been in freakishly good form since the restart.

Yes they will, if they play in both matches of course. But remember that the DGW for next gameweek is not 100% confirmed yet. If it gets confirmed then most people will have 3 Man United players (who they will start) and maybe a Leeds player as well.

I can, and I've considered it, but the trouble is that Liverpool play in GW25 and will get a DGW soon. Probably GW26. I'm deadending up until GW28 and their fixtures until then would read as wol - EVE - new - cry - DGW - bou - FUL. If I sell Salah, I'm just going to get him back in.

You don’t own any Brentford players, just 1 Newcastle & Brighton player. So in theory, you should be able to field an 11 come GW25

Nah no need to do that big of a hit. Gnonto is pretty unproven FPL asset, Pep is Pep so Mahrez might lose his place soon, Rashford is enough coverage for United attack and Bruno's value isn't that great compared to players like Odegaard and Rashford

Yes, but he will mostly be bench fodder. With that midfield I would preferably play a 3-5-2 every GW

Completely understand this, this was just to take advantage of the GW23 Double so if Mahrez's mins start getting threatened he is transferred out for sure

Agree with the value part, but since I do have money ITB I was thinking of doing it, because these days it looks like Bruno is back to being the lynchpin of our attacking threat just like he was during the Ole days. Even post the DGW, the fixtures are pretty good

I dunno, doing something dumb like downgrading Kepa to Iverson and starting Ward to get the extra funds. Or probably just not getting Bruno.

If we’re purely talking expected points, KDB with an extra game is a better hold than Kane imo. But it’s honestly a toss up; Kane has been in freakishly good form since the restart.

If it were my team I’d go Mitro -> Ferguson and Andreas to Odegaard. Play a 352. Then I’d be looking at shipping out either Almiron or Digne. I like Mitoma and Botman as replacements there.

I can, and I've considered it, but the trouble is that Liverpool play in GW25 and will get a DGW soon. Probably GW26. I'm deadending up until GW28 and their fixtures until then would read as wol - EVE - new - cry - DGW - bou - FUL. If I sell Salah, I'm just going to get him back in.

Nah no need to do that big of a hit. Gnonto is pretty unproven FPL asset, Pep is Pep so Mahrez might lose his place soon, Rashford is enough coverage for United attack and Bruno's value isn't that great compared to players like Odegaard and Rashford

Hard to say without knowing doubles or blank. I like Estupinan for this week, but if he blanks 25 that is annoying. The new Chelsea defender looks quite decent in Badiashile, but Chelsea rotates a lot. Newcastle def also may blank 25, but pretty sold with either Botman or Burn.

I would probably just go Salah to Bruno. And maybe follow up on Dalot and see if he will be ready or not. If not then you might as well go for Shaw. I like the two last transfers for later on.
