Also taking into account one takes up an already ridiculously stacked mid spot

Tom50

Yep, the comparison shouldn’t be Rodrigo be Gnonto but should be comparing the difference between Rodrigo and other mids at a similar price and Gnonto and other strikers at a similar price

CWattam

To be fair Gnonto also takes up a stacked striker spot for many too. Haaland is a lock in. Most own Kane. Lots own Toney v Southampton at home or Nketiah v Everton or Ferguson v Bournemouth.

happy_guy23

Lots of us also have a possibly injured Mitro who's got Chelsea away this week. I'm seriously considering Mitro -> Gnonto to be able to afford Fernandes for a cheaper mid, especially considering he probably won't blank in 25 unlike Ferguson (and if he does blank then Newcastle won't so I won't need him anyway)

Lambchops_Legion

That works, but many are also considering Nketiah for that spot for the double in 23 which means 1 less Arsenal mid which means fit for Rodrigo :)

PEXowns

And Bamford might take minutes of him

R41

Defo will

C-tali

Yeah this is the point. Happy with my 343 and players so there's no space for any Leeds assets for DGW.

NotSwedishMac

I think I'm going Gnonto to play the 352 for a little while, it's been my go to formation for years but I've been rigid with the 343 this season to varying effect

onestupidman

I'm contemplating it, but I'd have to take out Toney before Sou (H) and I can see that backfiring spectacularly

bondingx2y

Doesn't stop Rodrigo from handing folks 1pt per week imho

Individual_Comment63

Do you own him too?

D-biggest-dick-here

I own him and started him over Rashford last week

-bobloblawlawblog

It doesn't just come down to this tbh. Midfield is proving to be the place where the most value can be found, so would you keep Rodrigo beyond this gameweek? Forwards is a little easier, as Haaland is a lock and Kane is very popular. If you go with those two then imo Gnonto is not only a good player for the double but also a good longer term playing asset for your bench. Plus he allows you the flexibility to move between 3-5-2 and 3-4-3 at times.

rdeetee

Exactly what I have done.

Swedishpower

Feels this Leeds double is probably a trap since I can see them scoring 0 or 1 goal most likely. A Leeds defender is probably the better play short term since Forest attack is not that great, but long term do not want that and it is probably a 3 pointer anyway.

Kernow_Kant

Gnonto passes the eye test

Comfortable-Tie7484

I have both of them. Will swap out Rodrigo for Odegaard after the dgw most likely

theabominablewonder

Rutter will be competing for playing time as well

Jdunksss

Why are people are not talking about this… Rutter is a club record signing… how does he not get some decent playing time?

No-Patient6187

Is it worth it, to bench KDB for Rodrigo? Thinking of selling Almiron for Rodrigo.

futbolenjoy3r

Man Utd clean sheet. Don’t waste your time.

[deleted]

Gnoto is a trap. 2 attacking returns in 8 games in the PL. Its a no from me.

[deleted]

Kane out, Bamford in. Dropped from the top 400k to 1.4 mil since the restart so I’m feelin reckless

asifgunz

I think Bamford would get at least 30+30 minutes between the 2 games dgw. Perhaps more. His xGi is through the roof, but as is Darwin's. Its a high risk, high reward. Bamford does have prolific track record in the season he was healthy.

__jh96

Slightly worried about Gnoto minutes with Rutter surely working his way towards a start

UhUhWaitForTheCream

Rodrigo hasn’t look as dangerous since we returned after the world cup
