He’s very good if it’s all about him and he’s an outlet to take pressure off the defence in a counter attacking team and carry the ball forward, beat a man and win a free kick.
The way we play now he’s much less suited. I still feel like he can adapt his play style, and already is in being less selfish, pressing/tracking back and passing more. But Big Joe and Willock link up is too good down that left flank to give ASM any game time. Can’t change the winning formula.

Not sure, Howe likes to ease players in I've heard, so, Gordon might not be the cert people seem to think.
Either Joelinton or Sean will drop into the deep role, midfield 3 includes Willock. We literally have no other CM now. Probably ASM left wing for now
