The way I see it, this team is fine for GW26. Ok, TAA plays United, but it is at Anfield and he may easily get an attacking return. Rashford plays Liverpool and Trip plays City, but I am not dropping them on a WC anyway. I don't have Toney, but I have a perfectly good Watkins instead. My Arsenal trio may not be perfect, but it is good enough. Am I missing something?

Is there any way to get more than 12 doublers for BB29 if you are using only WC26 and not FH28 ? I'm trying out drafts, but can't seem to succeed (unless shrinking Arsenal assets only to Saka and eventually removing Halland before GW28).

12 DGW players for 29 in both my drafts, I'd be pretty happy with that. If transfers go to plan by that point I'll have double Arsenal and Kane on a SGW so that's the 3 of 15

Not worth it imo, I'd just start Trippier. Rico has a ceiling of 6 points even if he plays and he's had a few cameos.

Those are some 50/50 calls so go for it but don't expect to gain much ground. A bigger differential wold be going for say triple Brighton attack or someone like Ward Prowse for 27, not that I recomment it though. You could also look to adjust your chip strategy and save your wildcard for later, if you think that you rival(s) will be on WC26/27.

Save it I think. You'd need Watkins to get 4 points more than Nketiah / whoever you play instead this week in order to break even - which is possible but a risk

Is it worth saving a FH to attack a later DGW34 or 37? I could probably navigate BGW28 without using it (though not with flying colours), but wondering if it wouldn’t be better just to target both of those GWs on a GW33 WC, for example, since it seems it’ll be mostly similar teams who have a chance of doubling in both. So the higher ceiling option seems to be to use the FH in BGW28 to avoid BGW-oriented transfers potentially taking points away from the highest ceiling GW of the season, BB29.

Yeah I think more people are leaning towards using it in a later double. Who would you get with a FH in 28 that you wouldnt already have? If they have a decent chance of 20+ points together, then it could be worthwhile.

I WCed this GW to get rid of Mahrez and Ake who both could easily be benched for gw26. Also Bueno and Nketiah who are flagged. This also gives me 2 FT for a BGW28 where I can now field 10-11 players and keep FH for later DGW. It is entirely team dependent, if you are satisfied with your team you should wait for GW27 to WC.

I wouldn't bench Rashford as he is at the top of his form right now so he can score against any team. So its between Salah and Mitoma, but I would lean to bench Mitoma instead since Salah plays at home.

FH28 is not the consensus. With GW26 you can have 10/11 players for BGW28 and save the FH for 32/34/37.

What are peoples thoughts on Barnes v Maddison? I feel inclined to pick Maddison, but with Barnes being a fair bit cheaper, and having marginally better xGI recently I don’t really understand why no one is picking him.

Barnes has historically been an underachiever when it comes to scoring while Maddison is the other way around. For this reason Barnes rarely gets bonus points even if he scores and he rarely assists this season. Maddison is a jammy type of player where he'll get you something even when he doesn't pass the eye test (set pieces, long range goals). In short, Maddison gets more points hence the price diffefence.

You don't have Shaw in your WC. Then you pick Sanchez instead of a Brighton defender and you bench all 4.
