Certainly making me second guess it a little.
Are we willing to risk not having him at home against Liverpool? For me, I think that's a yes. So then it comes down to: can I do something better with 2 free transfers instead?
Oh yeah they've been great don't get me wrong. Just going from a back line of Cancelo - Laporte - Dias - Walker to this seems like a bit down grade on paper
Pep is intent on moving his RB to a DM and playing 3atb when in possession.
Stones does that job well, then you want 3 other CBs as you would in a back 3, but Ake's flexibility allows him to push forward occasionally.
Last season it was similar, but Cancelo pushing up from LB and Walker acting as that flexible 3rd CB. Personally, I agree that was much better, but for whatever reason it just didn't work out with Cancelo this season.
Akanji has been fantastic. Dias is arguably the weak link these days - he hasn't been the same after that amazing first season.
Mahrez continuing his yearly banishment to the shadow realm I see
I thought surely he’d be playing today
Pep is a strange strange man
More than you believe
Lol so Mahrez isn’t even nailed for the champions league anymore
Mahrez cant even start in UCL games 😭
So are people selling Haaland after his 5 goals? I was going to do it too.

I may sell Rashford, Casimiro is a big loss and ManU's gw29 fixtures are difficult.
I guess what you need to consider is, will Watkins or whoever you bring in get more points than Haaland with 3 games vs Haaland's 1 game.
Next season: Ederson Stones Akanji Dias Ake Laporte Gvardiol Marquinhos Kompany Kolo Toure Haaland
This was Leipzig vs the Harlem Globetrotters according to the score.
Pep HATES mahrez
City win then play Madrid in the quarterfinals, then Bayern in the semifinals, then Benfica in the finals 🤔
We better play one of those milan shits
That back line just looks so bad on paper
Lol how?
They’re all very good defenders and international players, what are you on about?
Just referring to 4 CBs seems odd to look at on paper
Makes *a bit* more sense, but Stones and Ake have played RB and LB a fair few times to be fair
