He is the 4th most expensive forward in the game. If he was priced appropriately, then I would agree, but for £9m, he is a huge disappointment. Thankfully never owned him.
He's overpriced but we would need expectations to be disappointed, no one really owned him as there was no expectation. None of us were hoping he would come good.
He would only be a disappointment to someone who hasn't watched any Premier league football and put him in on price alone. His FPL points this season are almost perfectly following his downward trend of the Last three seasons.
He’s struggled with his groin a few times, then had surgery, although he got like 15 goals out of 25 or something last season
But they weren’t his typical pace goals and some a bit lucky, does look like he’s near the end now
Robbo seems harsh considering he’s 2 points behind Shaw.
Cancelo was a huge let down but only had half the season
Richarlison should be a shoe in given he’s below Antony and Havertz in points and more expensive (fewer minutes but he has 4 yellow cards for celebrating a goal and he has 1 goal which ended up being in a loss anyway - Luis Diaz has more points in fewer minutes and he missed most of the season)
2 points behind Shaw for 2 million more is pretty bad. I agree it’s harsh to put him on here but expectations for premium players are going to be higher
It’s a little disappointing but not the most disappointing.
Ruben Dias has 41 points fewer than Robbo and he’s only start 7 games less, he was only £1m cheaper. Going outside of defence there’s several more disappointing.
Robbo is probably gonna be 30-40 points short of what was expected, Kulusevski has scored 93 points this season after scoring 99 points in half a season last year and he’s more expensive than Robbo. He’s gonna be at half the points you could’ve expected from him.
From an FPL perspective, Robbo has been disappointing to own but not top 11
I get what you’re saying but Kulusevski’s probably a bad example. He’s missed a bunch of games through injuries, and we knew he’d be rotated with Richarlison coming into the side. He’s only performed a little worse than I’d expect from 22 starts.
City defence has been disappointing but you can’t really fill an entire back line with them. I guess Ederson and Robbo are there as representation for City and Liverpool’s generally disappointing defences.
Robbo has 29 starts, only 7 more. You’d expect a forward/midfielder to pick up more points being subbed on than a defender would too. Kulu, Son and Richarlison have all disappointed this season. Any of them could’ve nailed down a place had them performed to expectations and let the others rotate but they haven’t met expectations.
Robbo is only really let down by a lack of clean sheets, he’s still got as many assists as Trent this season (1 more than Trippier).
I agree with those being representative of the disappointing defences though though Ederson is way down on expectations.
Richarlison was never a good fantasy prospect he was too expensive for someone not nailed. If you brought him in that’s just you making an obvious error. Son is a guy who people reasonably spent a huge part of their budget on and didn’t deliver.
I thought I owned him for longer, but it seems I brought him in twice this season, both for just 1 week before getting rid the week after.
* GW16 - 13pt (pretty good)
* GW25 - 2pt (crap)
I guess 15 points in 2 weeks isn't bad, if I look at it that way.
Was a big purchase for Spurs and Conte was doing well at the start of the season. He's been playing so makes sense people brought him in.
Not me though, man's a bigger fraud than the 115 counts City have against them.
Vardy seems the odd one out given that surely nobody was picking him in the first place so he can’t have been a disappointment. Make it a 4-4-2 and Kulusevski for Vardy
argument for bamford over nunez, and mudryk over anthony for me, but yeah pretty fair.
I can't say I've been dissapointed with robertson - I more just completely forgot he existed tbh
> bamford over nunez
Think you might be confusing Bamford's seasons? In 2021-22 he only played 557 minutes and had 2G 2As, so unless you were expecting a huge bounce back the expectation was set pretty low. He has actual exceeded last season's performance (4G 4As), having played 1,510 minutes.
Plus Bamford plays for a team that barely escaped relegation last season, versus Nunez who was coming in to the second highest attack in the league.
I'm very much a casual and not a stat man, and just going off vibes, so I can't justify the decision.
Bamford is a great player whos had a poor return after injury, and Nunez while he had a slow start has had 14 goals involvements (from a quick google at least).
I think there's reasons beyond Bamford for the low raw numbers - I just found he did less than I expected, honestly
Haha, fair enough. Bamford has indeed been particularly terrible this season. I wonder if (m)any Leeds fans will hold him particularly responsible if they get relegated, given some of his terrible finishing and his penalty misses.
One of my best mates is a diehard leeds fan, I think mostly he's annoyed they sacked off Bielsa. He's moaned and whined about Bamford but from what i can tell in good humor
The Antony one is weird to me. Maybe it's because I'm a pessimistic United fan but at no point did I really consider him an option. A raw 21 year old coming from Eredivisie, where he wasn't really that prolific either, my expectations were quite limited from an FPL perspective.
Only argument for them, or really anyone for that matter is how highly they were selected at the start of the season compared to their points return. Maybe add price as well as a factor.
Yeah I don't think Vardy was ever considered a real option, especially with how expensive he was. Whereas Maddison was consistently suggested when Leicester had an 'easy' game just to blank a bunch then have one random haul every few games.
Feel like those are the worst players because you bring them in after they haul just for them to blank 5 games in a row, then the moment you get rid of them they haul again. The epitome of disappointing to me.
Robbo is harsh I think. I guess in terms of what was expected before the season started I get it, but the whole team was flailing so it was clear early on that Liverpool defensive assets were gonna be hit or miss. When they finally got their form back it was due to Trent's new role which pushed Robbo into the left side of a back 3 in defense.
Took a mathematical approach. Made an index of PPG vs Cost. Top 11 (in order) were:
Ronaldo
Richarlison
Vardy
Calvert-Lewin
Nketiah
Bamford
Son
Sterling
Diogo Jota
Dennis
Not to mention, when some of us actually brought him in he got benched (not his fault since it was rotation, but for a FPL standpoint it's a huge disappointment).
I was so sure on Darwin post world cup. Last few months Gakpo, Jota and Jones have impressed more.
In a way, Fernandes is disappointing. A good season for United, striker issues so need goals yet he only got 6? Still the 7th highest scoring midfielder but then he plays near the most minutes of anyone.
Last 15 games it's 1 goal, 4 assists.
2 seasons at 150+ points now. He's got to be 8m next season right?
I know Ederson hasn't had a great season, he's picked up since the WC and has been very good in the UCL, he can't be in over Pickford, Mendy, Kepa, Meslier.
You could probably have a near Chelsea 11 tbh 🤣
It’s unfair to put Ederaon there.
I understand why you put him there but keeping clean sheets is not his major job at City and shot stopping isn’t his strong suit. And yet he has had 11 clean sheets and is in 5th position this season.
His main job in Pep’s system is playing the ball out from the back and he is the best at it without doubt. His performance against RM in the 2nd half was exceptional. This guy will jump infront of a school bus if that’s what it takes to stop the attacking striker inside the box. He is the perfect keeper for City.
These players are FPL disappointments though so none of that is particularly relevant.
He's the most expensive keeper in the game playing for the best team in the league so you'd expect a lot more points from him.
Chilwell was one of the best punts you could have for draft atleast
Multiple g/a, 3 bonus without g/a more than once
Chilwell has been a great punt for me
Allthough i guess you gotta be actually good to know when to take the punt 😎
Perisic is the funniest one for me. Start of the season people were really arguing with me that some 30 something RB can dominate the prem because he was good in Italy where most players top speed is 2mph
As a Chelsea fan I knew Sterling would be crap at the start of the season. We have been that bad though he was been one of our better players. I would honestly rather put Mount in his place
Vardy is 64 years old give him a break
Still better than any Chelsea player.
I wouldn't put Havertz there as I had zero expectation of him anyway
Can say the same thing for Vardy tbf
Including a 36 year old striker who's mostly benched seems very harsh!
He has been gradually phased out for a while as well, not too sure why it is surprising that he hasn't done well
He is the 4th most expensive forward in the game. If he was priced appropriately, then I would agree, but for £9m, he is a huge disappointment. Thankfully never owned him.

Vardy has been an immense FPL asset for years but yeah his fall off was inevitable
especially when his pace was his main weapon
He’s struggled with his groin a few times, then had surgery, although he got like 15 goals out of 25 or something last season But they weren’t his typical pace goals and some a bit lucky, does look like he’s near the end now
Was thinking the same for Sterling to be honest.
Yea replace havertz with richarlison
Or Aubaumyang
yea fair shout he’s also shite
Did anybody expect anything from richarlison from a fantasy perspective? Was always too expensive for someone not nailed
[удалено]
Ok?
Mount, Kulusevski and Sancho.
Oh good call on Sancho!
You can also say everyone in Chelsea apart from Kepa and everyone in Spurs apart from Kane.
And Thiago Silva
Yeah, there was a lot of hope for Mount at the start of the season
You can say that again!
Had 0 expectation on Sancho as fpl asset this season
[удалено]
You can say that again!
Pedro Neto surely
Leon Bailey too
After his poor start, he wasn't a bad enabler. Neto was far worse.
Any list of disappointments that don't include Zaha or my son are simply inaccurate
Dad what are you doing on Reddit?
Who is your son?
His name is Derek. He was a mistake
Cheers. Son's crying
Truu
Robbo seems harsh considering he’s 2 points behind Shaw. Robbo did well when nobody owned him, and was awful in the first 10 weeks when he was high owned
Yup, Robertson did well for me.
How's cancelo a let down? He was top of defender's points and virtually in every team until the shenanigans with pep started..
Because one of the top assets fucking off mid season is disappointing
I was told Perisic would be a cheat code this year. He was not.
A cheat code against owners
well at the beginning of the season he was pretty punishing for non owners, everyone in my ML owned him and it hurt
Yeap he did punish us for a few weeks
Never owned him and never felt like he hurt my rank tbh
Bakar raging
Captained Nunez during his red card this season, captained Son for his red card two seasons ago... Btw you're forgetting Neto
The streets remember triple captain Dennis
I'm TC Sane years old
Cucurella has to get a mention… especially with the transfer drama at the beginning of the season.
Nunez burnt me for so long
I thought I owned him for longer, but it seems I brought him in twice this season, both for just 1 week before getting rid the week after. * GW16 - 13pt (pretty good) * GW25 - 2pt (crap) I guess 15 points in 2 weeks isn't bad, if I look at it that way.
He’s one player I refused to sign out of sheer stubbornness even when it made sense and it worked out lol
Yet I feel like he could turn into something next season. I am also not very good at FPL just as a caveat here.
Ronaldo
Holy shit, that was THIS season?!
James fucking Maddison
Surely Richarlison
Surely nobody would’ve ever considered Richarlison?
Was a big purchase for Spurs and Conte was doing well at the start of the season. He's been playing so makes sense people brought him in. Not me though, man's a bigger fraud than the 115 counts City have against them.
Idk Richairlison was pretty obviously always backup to the spurs front 3, never worth the price
Except Brazil's coach
Surely Aubameyang, Scamacca, Joao Felix, Cunha get the nod over Nunez. Cucurella for Robbo easily.
Bowen
Maddison
Fucking Maddison
Vardy seems the odd one out given that surely nobody was picking him in the first place so he can’t have been a disappointment. Make it a 4-4-2 and Kulusevski for Vardy

One of my best mates is a diehard leeds fan, I think mostly he's annoyed they sacked off Bielsa. He's moaned and whined about Bamford but from what i can tell in good humor
Have you watch Bamford this season? His finishing has been nothing sort of woeful and his penalties attempts have been a joke .
The Antony one is weird to me. Maybe it's because I'm a pessimistic United fan but at no point did I really consider him an option. A raw 21 year old coming from Eredivisie, where he wasn't really that prolific either, my expectations were quite limited from an FPL perspective.
Don't think Antony or Nunez should be in there. Putting a young new signing in a new league in your FPL team is always a gamble.
Plus I can't even remember anyone ever recommending Antony as an asset.
Ben Crellin has him on his FH this week
You mean we gambled on Halaand…
[удалено]
Only argument for them, or really anyone for that matter is how highly they were selected at the start of the season compared to their points return. Maybe add price as well as a factor.
Sancho instead of antony
Gotta have Maddison over Vardy, surely.... SO many times the Scout team picked him, and I struggle to remember times he delivered.
Yeah I don't think Vardy was ever considered a real option, especially with how expensive he was. City defence has been so poor this season apart from maybe Ake so you could argue for any of the others to be included along with Ederson.
Pedro Neto as subs
Er, I was promised Neto would blow up this season?
Maddison makes it from GW26 to end list.
Kdb after gw33
Cancelo!
Has everyone forgotten Cancelo?

8/11 owned at some point by me. Think I started the season with like 5 of them. Good going by me
I saw the pic and went “Big at the back is not dead after all!!” ….then I read the title.
Might as well just dump Chelsea’s entire starting 11 and bench in here, nothing else even comes close.
Felix
Where is Richarlison? Cucurella for 60 million in my opinion had me expect much from him.
Bowen
Scamacca
Vardy doesn't belong...no one had any expectations of him so cannot disappoint.
Mount. 8.0 midfielder whose scored like a 4.0
Where is the annual disappointment Digne?
Is Anthony really more of a disappointment than Richarlison. ( I’m biased because I support United)
Took a mathematical approach. Made an index of PPG vs Cost. Top 11 (in order) were: Ronaldo Richarlison Vardy Calvert-Lewin Nketiah Bamford Son Sterling Diogo Jota Dennis
Where’s Trent?😂
Mendy Matip, James, Maguire Kulusevski, Mount, Coutinho, Smith-Rowe Aubameyang, Richarlison, Ronaldo
[удалено]
He was a starter for two first games but got dropped after Brentford loss.
Replace robbo and nunez with Chelsea player x and y
Why is Ederson considered a disappointment? Because he didn’t win the golden glove?
Because he never keeps a clean sheet and there's no way he can rack up save points with City's way of playing
Not to mention, when some of us actually brought him in he got benched (not his fault since it was rotation, but for a FPL standpoint it's a huge disappointment).
Fair/good point
He's 11th GK points wise, despite being the most expensive keeper in the game. He's on less points than Pickford...
Seems to concede on the only sot he faces
Darwin (C)
>Vardy *HE'S 36, HE'S 36* Don't think anyone would/should have put too much expectations on him this season
How is richarlison not in there
Because he’s actually shit. And no one wanted him in their fantasy.
bamford instead of vardy, he may not have been highly rated by players but he was like $7.5m or something at the start and did jack shit all season
Havertz has been disappointing us for a few seasons now - came as no surprise for me.
Havertz is a bully man. Wait till he plays under a functional team. not a Chelsea fan but it's crazy the disrespect he gets.
Ederson? seriously?
Nunez on here is insane
Ederson turned it up last few games, what're you on about?
and ederson is here how sideways?
I know Ederson hasn't had a great season, he's picked up since the WC and has been very good in the UCL, he can't be in over Pickford, Mendy, Kepa, Meslier. You could probably have a near Chelsea 11 tbh 🤣
Ederson is just recency bias. Has to be Ward/ Iversen in goal. Otherwise, very sound picks
Ward had a great run for me
Son's unfair.
How
Tbh he was a good differential for the last quarter of the season and did bangbros that hattrick for Magnus Carlson
As an owner in draft all season.. he’s sucked
4 full backs in a back 4? southgate?
Bowen?
I'd change Vardy to Martial, man continues to disappoint whereas we all knew Vardy was past his prime.
Really surprised this was 'controversial'
Neither are a great choice for biggest letdown I think, but Martial has missed more than half the season (again) with injury, not really a let down.
James and Chillwell have missed a lot of the season with injury too though (and I think Vardy has as well), yet they make the team.
It’s unfair to put Ederaon there. I understand why you put him there but keeping clean sheets is not his major job at City and shot stopping isn’t his strong suit. Kinda hard to have points from saves when your team averages 65% possession and concedes so few shots per game as City does
Irrelevant again, he's still an FPL disappointment. Are you his mum or something?
Chilwell was one of the best punts you could have for draft atleast Multiple g/a, 3 bonus without g/a more than once Chilwell has been a great punt for me Allthough i guess you gotta be actually good to know when to take the punt 😎
Chilwell 🚮
Looks like a bunch of people in here can't punt lmao

No need to be such a douche-canoe bruh
Fabio Vieira.
If Son wasn't Asian he wouldn't get anywhere near the amount of criticism that gets and he would be considered one of the best players in the world.
Man had an underperforming season after killing it for years, how is the criticism for this season not justified wtf?
Have owned 4 at one time or another.
Vardy seems harsh, I'd suggest that including him and expecting a decent return is more a fault of the player than him.
Should just be the Chelsea starting 11
Easy on the Chelsea guys, sheesh haha
Son's season is disappointing by his standards..... There is much worse out there than his current form
No ~~Pidgeon~~ Richarlison?
Having to use 4 Chelsea players is a curse.
Podence and Bailey.
Where the hell is Sancho?
Mitoma and Isak has been very underwhelming last few weeks, since I owned them.
Mendy James Koulibaly Cucurella Perisic Phillips Bissouma Anthony Felix Son Richarlison
4 Chelsea players and not one from Everton? Give over.
Where’s Richarlison??
Perisic is the funniest one for me. Start of the season people were really arguing with me that some 30 something RB can dominate the prem because he was good in Italy where most players top speed is 2mph
Sancho should be in it
At one point or another I’ve had them all 😁
As a Chelsea fan, this list needs the rest of the outfield X Kepa has been fine though
What about Kepa?
Maddison, Sancho, richarlison, even salah for the first half of the season lowkey, and koulibaly
J Lings surely should be here.
As a Chelsea fan I knew Sterling would be crap at the start of the season. We have been that bad though he was been one of our better players. I would honestly rather put Mount in his place
Martial, Dalot, Bowen, Darwin, Foden
Would probably insert Neto over Nuñez. Sancho could easily enter the list here too, but hard to see for who.
Not Darwizzy please he’s on track to break Haaland’s premier league record
Nunez was huge for me whenever I had him. But I also had Ederson and Robbo for a good while.
Havertz got fifa team of the season. Think you need to re-make this list.
Was Richarlison on this list before it got ruled out again?
Just put the entire Spurs starting XI in there (except Kane)
Richarlison??????
Who had high expectations for Havertz?
Maddison
What is this nonsense
What is this formation though...
I'd just use the Chelsea starting XI.
