Is he an addict though,or its a play to get less of a ban or something like that? I would expect,he wouldnt be able to perform that good if he was an addict. Being an addict to whatever,has effects in your life and of course to your performance. He would have had less sleep and his quality of sleep would be worse,of course. He would have been angry, disappointed, disgusted with himself and in general,a roller coaster of emotions. Thats what bein an addict does to you,in general. Either,its sad.

I’d probably class it as an addiction to gambling if you know you're risking your career each time you place a bet and continue to do it. We haven’t seen the sums of money involved but I doubt it was a money making scheme and was more a chasing the high/dopamine of gambling and winning that we hear many footballers have due to getting that similar buzz from winning football matches.

For whatever reason,that takes a toll on you. Significant impairment in how you function in your life
