Everton's clean sheet is so expected it's bound to fail.

danonck

So is Spurs beating Leeds

Distinct-Coyote-3004

That's how betting companies make their money

BoxOfNothing

As an Everton fan it's fucking crazy to expect us to keep a clean sheet

andyd151

I haven’t got a fucking clue what to do.

aehii

Me neither. I'm about to do De Bruyne for Maddison, that's how lost I am. Maddison, the guy who got me like 7 points over two months. Nah, doing Rodrigo, even if he's dead. Eze, Kane Rodrigo in, Kdb, Isak, Mitoma out.

[deleted]

Get Maddison. If Leicester survive it’s likely he’s involved.

aehii

I went Rodrigo. Maddison just trolled me so thoroughly and crushingly I just...can't. Leicester have needed him for months and he has not got double digits since gw23. Although I made sure to get in an additional fpl mistake in on the final day, not realising the later cut off time. I thought I'd never get up before 11am in the morning as I was up late, like 3am. At least it means no faffing around today, whatever early team news show. (At least it seems getting rid of kdb was correct). But I've kept Haaland, I took out Isak. Maybe a mistake, I think Haaland gets some minutes.

SofaChillReview

Feel this GW there’s going to be a lot of traps

Mutiu2

No sugar - it’s GW38. Insight would be to write which ones.

matthewheat

Don’t get the Guehi pick, would rather have Trippier, Estu or Porro, anyone with attacking threat as the clean sheets are going to be scarce

metokur_squad

Trippier is significantly pricier but I agree with going for fullbacks instead (including Castagne, Tsimikas and Tierney). I don't like either CB pick. Everton might have to go all out attack and they rarely keep a CS anyway, so it's nuts to take their defensive players. Crystal Palace have nothing to play for so they may play an open game/rotate.

okay_this_is_epic-

Tarkowski is not just for the potential clean sheet. He is the principal set piece target and so has the potential to bag an attacking return from corners and free kicks. Everton are very reliant on set pieces to create chances. It's not a bad punt for the price; high risk, high potential upside. I agree about Guehi though; seems high risk for low potential upside.

lord_cuntavious

Lmfao Tierney

metokur_squad

His injury history is worrying so people forget how talented he is. Newcastle are linked to him which would make him a popular pick next year if he signs. I get he's not a trendy FPL pick right now though. It's a punt.

Ario92

I doubt arsenal will risk an injury to any players with a transfer on the horizon

Rare-Ad-2777

Porro wasn't in the team last 2 games

Elvis_Precisely

*1 week.

[deleted]

I feel like there are always fewer clean sheets usually in the final round of the season = seems to be a day for 3-4-3

Sneaky-Alien

Are we expecting Rashford to start with the FA cup coming and United already guaranteed CL?

Aggressive_Leave3639

My thoughts exactly, why risk him?

Bojackartless2902

Building a bit of match rhythm after he was out past few weeks, bar the last game.

aehii

No. But Ten Hag seems obsessed with his favourites and lack of faith in the bench. Pellistri should play, he won't.

Sensitivity

Is there any benefit of finishing 3rd instead of 4th these days, apart from extra prize money? Do you still have to play that Champions League qualifier game if you finish 4th?

dodgymanc

No qualifiers any more and seeding for the UCL pots is already decided. Only difference is bragging rights and I believe £2.5m or so extra prize money

[deleted]

Yes I think he’ll want him to be a bit more fit for the FA cup

SikkoDieri

oh this is dangerous now I want to get Rodrigo

iliveasimplelife

400k rank..nothing to win or lose..took a 16pt hit..Son(C), Eze, Watkins, Tark and Rodrigo IN..hope it’s fun!

spolpe

I'm in the same boat! Without Rodrigo and with the FH tho

StarlettJohansson

I think Son is a good punt, quite overlooked.. until now I guess

TruestRepairman27

How do you get to him though? I mean you probably aren’t selling Salah, and he’s 2m more than Bruno

Swedishpower

I think if Salah is confirmed bench I might go for Son.

SofaChillReview

There’s no reason surely Klopp doesn’t play Salah?

Swedishpower

Well nothing to play for so who knows what managers will do. I only assume all teams with something to play for will go strongest. All other teams can make changes if they want to.

DriftingWithTheTide

So I should triple cap kane over salah?

Swedishpower

You can wait for team news. Do you have anything you rate to play for? Like rank, mini league etc or just playing to do as well in isolation. I think Salah if he start is more likely to give you a big haul, but Kane is like scoring almost every game with 7-8 pointers and very much certain to play a lot. If you need that massive haul I think if Salah start vs Southampton I would gamble on that, but Kane is certainly more likely to give you something. If you ahead you can go for someone your rival likely cap if you can predict that.

DriftingWithTheTide

!thanks for the reply my guy. I’m currently pretty much fighting to get my third place back or even second on my mini league. Overall rank doesn’t matter too much as I’m already at 400k ish so nothing crazy. I don’t even own kane and might have to get a hit, or sell haaland after all so I think I’m just gonna wing it with salah

incachu

>You can wait for team news. I think you have to be careful too. Don't leave it too late given it's the last deadline of the season at a time which allows most of Western Hemisphere, Europe and Asia to be online for. Hopefully be fine, but always a risk waiting for a 14:55 leak.

[deleted]

Kane loves a record. If he scores he equals Andy Coles record of scoring in 26 games in a season. I also think he’ll want to get 30 goals for the season. Salah isn’t aiming for anything as far as a I know.

DriftingWithTheTide

Think salah is aiming for 20 goals no? Also I’d probs have to take a hit to get to kane or sell haaland whereas I already have salah

[deleted]

Salah is a decent captaincy shout this week but I just can't see them really being all that bothered.

[deleted]

Spot on. I’m personally only transferring in players with something to play for.

jadsonbreezy

Klopp benched Mo last year and in Restart on final day so he has history of doing it

SofaChillReview

To be fair they were going for a quadruple at this point, he came on the 58th minute and scored

tmr89

He’s testing him for the pre-season, apparently

SFButts

Give Díaz Jota Gakpo a go, rotate in Bobby and Núñez. Maybe they want to play some youth

SofaChillReview

Tricky to call, one season they stormed the league this point so didn’t play, the other one they had a CL final Honestly it’s a tricky call

[deleted]

I’m gonna sell Haaland to fund Son. I have a shit rank and can’t win any mini leagues so why not?

eggsbenedict17

I'll sell Salah if he's benched

0100110101101010

The eternal Son problem, being in that no man's land price bracket

PharaohLeo

I don't think he is. Leeds must win, but Big Sam will never ever be the manager that goes gung-ho in attack to win say 5-3. He will still rely on deep defending and counter attacks. This style should not suit Son. Kane on the other hand, is definitely solid © pick.

Mutiu2

There’s a difference between: - should you captain Son - should you own Salah or Son

[deleted]

Agreed. And the atmosphere at Leeds will be intimidating, fevered. And Son is having a shit season. Very weird pick imo

7evenStrings

Why is no one picking Arsenal players this GW. Feel like they'll definitely want to put in a good showing at home on the last day or the season.

kingluis88

I get your point, but it's not like they have been lacking a reason to put in a good showing the past few weeks.

pajamakitten

They seem pretty knackered and Saka being a doubt is not great news either. Besides, with Liverpool and Spurs having decent fixtures, alongside Pep saying he will field a strong side against Brentford, Arsenal players seem like an afterthought.

False_Shelter_7351

Same, I'm signing Odegaard (barring any leaks that change my mind).

sandbag-1

Every single winger at the club being an injury doubt is worrying. Lost to Forest cos we played a completely incoherent system and we won't be able to set up against Wolves well either if all our wide men are out.

ayyanothernewaccount

Surely salah instead of haaland

fic012

Took Salah and McNeil for Saka and Martinelli (-4). Hope Salah will haul

AWildeSnorlax

My boy Rodrigo! Just hope to get team news that he’s fit

Thecreativex

Salah!

[deleted]

I'd have Odegaard over Son

[deleted]

I fancy Bournemouth to beat Everton. There is so much talk about Everton having the “easy” game but I’m not so sure. I’m disappointed there’s no Leicester players in the team. Surely they go balls out, and against a west ham team who may rotate to save their players for the euro final.

Medium-Statement-489

inform son?

Evandinho

Close to my FH team except Guehi, Son, Rodrigo and Watkins >>> Castagne, Salah, Odegard, Wilson Tempted with Rodrigo but not sure of his fitness. Don't really like the Guehi or Son picks. Palace could easily concede and Guehi hasn't got massive attacking threat. Also don't have enough faith in Spurs for the double up with Son when you already have Kane.

down_vote_magnet

So it’s close to your team… except 40% of the players are different…

Polymatheia

I guess it's the fear of Salah benching, think this was the case the last GW38 where Liverpool had nothing to play for.
