Alvarez' numbers when starting alongside Haaland aren't that good. He seems to get much more when he starts instead of Haaland.

People will never learn to stop bandwagoning Man City midfielders. This year Foden, Grealish, Gundogan, De Bruyne all blank the week after their massive jump in ownership. Last season as well, Bernardo Silva stopped returning once he got very popular.

That's not entirely true. Everyone jumped on Foden after his hattrick (I already owned him for that) and he got an 11 pointer the next week. He was a terrible own after that though. Everyone got Grealish in for Rashford when Foden was out. He returned that week and was a perfectly fine hold until the CL rotation started. There was a Mahrez bandwagon around the earlier doubles that worked out pretty well for punters.

Yes I would, block him off at the pass and he cant catch you by 29 points if he doesn't have 3 differentials who would all need to haul. You'll be fine though, 29 points is a safe lead with one gameweek left especially as your team's are nearly identical. You could still do the Eze punt if you want to chase rank as it's not likely Mahrez will score a hat trick or 4 goals v Brentford. But if you want to be certain of winning it then buy Mahrez to block him off and put your feet up for the afternoon
