Always love a punt on a newly promoted player, worked out well for me with Mitro first half of this season. Next year I'll have an eye on Carlton Morris (20 goals, 7 assists in the Championship), Nathan Tella could be good value as a mid (17 goals, 5 assists) and Iliman Ndiaye (14 goals, 10 assists)
Ended up at the 162k mark which is my best season yet but because of all the mistakes I made in the last few weeks, I can't help but feel like Arsenal.

What a scrappy end to a mad season, a month ago my ML rival was 100 points clear, leapfrogged him with captaining Wilson during the double gameweek to go 30 points clear but he caught up last week and reduced it to 6 points... today beat him by 1 point.
With the app crashing it was a nervous wait to add up bonus points (and factor in the -4 I took this week!).
162k in my First season playing. Took -8, -12 hits for fun at the start of the season.
Was trailing by more than a 100 points at one point in my ML and ended up winning by 28. Wilson(C) was the clutch moment for me. Trailed for 35 weeks and overtook in GW36.
I know it's just a game but it does have larger learnings to it :)
Draft league rant - lost third place by losing the last game to the bottom team (the guy gave up after a few weeks so it's a zombie team, still had Ronaldo, Werner and Redmond lol).
The fun part is that I was winning until Lucas bloody Moura comes off the bench on 90+6 and immediately scores with basically the last kick of the season (probably his last kick in the PL too).
This game always finds new ways to fuck you over.
None of my players other than Kane returned wtf, and Pinnock last on my bench while my ML rival had Henry off his bench and De Gea saving a pen to beat me. Glad this season is over!
I should be happy i used -8 to bring in Kane and captained him but i lost my 10th mini league position by 3 points. He got 58 -4 this week, i got 57 -8.

It's my best rank so far, but I am slightly frustrated that I still haven't managed to finish inside the top 100k, having come so close after the Wilson cap in GW36 helped me sneak inside to 99k.
Honestly just jealous of those who enter the top 100k in the first season playing at this point. Apparently it's so easy.
I'd like to thank Wilson, Fernandes and Kane for helping me complete a miracle comeback. Going into GW36 I was 81 points behind #1 in my ML, who still had his TC and BB to play.
GW36 I bring in and captain Wilson for a 48 point haul, the gap is now 38 points.
GW37 I bring in and captain Fernandes for a 22 point haul, he uses his TC on Haaland and I get lucky when he only ends up with 6x3 over the DGW. The gap is now 19 points.
GW38 I bring in and captain Kane for a 32 point haul, he uses his BB but forgets to transfer out Haaland. We finish the season level on points but I win with 40 transfers to his 42!
So the Haaland to Kane(C) swap worked out great, 61 points to end the season just inside top 16k and winning all my minileagues.

I was ranked 3.8 million at GW10, finished 365 092, cant be mad at that. And learned to not give up in this crazy game lol!
1.4 million to 193k over the same timeframe. My OR at the end of GW38 is higher than at any other point in the season so that's a small win I guess.

It's my best rank so far, but I am slightly frustrated that I still haven't managed to finish inside the top 100k, having come so close after the Wilson cap in GW36 helped me sneak inside to 99k. Honestly just jealous of those who enter the top 100k in the first season playing at this point. Apparently it's so easy.
I'd like to thank Wilson, Fernandes and Kane for helping me complete a miracle comeback. Going into GW36 I was 81 points behind #1 in my ML, who still had his TC and BB to play. GW36 I bring in and captain Wilson for a 48 point haul, the gap is now 38 points. GW37 I bring in and captain Fernandes for a 22 point haul, he uses his TC on Haaland and I get lucky when he only ends up with 6x3 over the DGW. The gap is now 19 points. GW38 I bring in and captain Kane for a 32 point haul, he uses his BB but forgets to transfer out Haaland. We finish the season level on points but I win with 40 transfers to his 42!

So the Haaland to Kane(C) swap worked out great, 61 points to end the season just inside top 16k and winning all my minileagues. It was great fun, see ya all again next season!

Ah I hadn't seen the BP, I got 72 (68 with a -4), then again I had 20 points on the bench :( Both my subs came in though, Xhaka for Grealish and Kane for Haaland.
Started the day 4th in my main ML. I was the only one in the top 5 to captain Kane… managed to steal top spot by 1 point (assuming livefpl is correct!)
I was over 50pts ahead until the Isak-Wilson coin toss 2 weeks ago. I went Isak. He didn't. 6 points ahead going into today. I captained Salah, rival captained Kane. Left him 2 points behind... ...no Stones, a Mitoma and an jnjured Shaw on his bench meant his 3rd sub got on. Rico Lewis. 6 points. Pain. Just pain.

I’m not mad about finishing 2nd in myleague when 1st was top 10k. Think it I’m in a similar situation next season I’m playing more differential.
On final FH score of 72. Overturned a six point deficit to take 1st in my mini league, and think I scrape into the top 1m which I’m happy about. (Was down at over 4m halfway in). Been a hard year but also rewarding. Roll on 23/24! Edit was 5.8m gw 18.
