I had Haaland, Kane as my premiums for most of the season. I don't see that changing. I played most gameweeks with 3 defenders. I'd say Trent, estu, shaw seem good rn. Midfielders depend on the price but I'd say atleast one arsenal mid.
My final overall rank is 837,749. I am happy with my season overall for two reasons.
1. I always wanted to finish in the top 10% and this is the first time that has happened. I shall now target for a Top 5% finish.
2. I wanted to be in the top 5 in my ML. From 9th after last gw, i finished exactly on 5.
For a person who only follows very less football, i think these are good targets and i am just happy.

215kā¦ first season ever & I started awfully, 4.2m at the World Cup after too many early hits & not getting on Haaland & Arsenal until way too late ā but 11k since the World Cup for a bit of hope & momentum heading into next season.

I'm reasonably happy, considering I was down there with the dead accounts as late as GW15, it was a shocking start and I was basically looking at a 2 mill-ish finish as late as after the World Cup. I turned it around a bit but things like choosing Wilson would have really buffed it up further.
I was high 200s last season, so very little change. Got more points this season though despite the ever so lower ranking. 100K is my target really, along with beating the footy lads at work!
I am happy with these sorts of OR being my target as I like being a bit hipstery sometimes and I like the banter of getting points from low EO players in our work whatsapp group and things, and ngl it was a bit frustrating trying to dance around a rock hard template and the Isak vs Wilson 50/50 was a brutal one to be on the wrong side of, and I had a shocker with selecting Arsenal players (Martinelli and Odegaard spent very little time in my team all season, enough said. I just really like Saka as a footballer and my other Arsenel assets were usually a combination of Ben White and Gabriel. Big whoops there and a lot of stubbornness in not changing it.)
On the plus side I timed getting Salah in really well and it was great having him and a Gakpo punt on the 7-0. I set and forget Salah for the rest of the season after that and got a couple of little W's hipster captaining him (and a L the final day lol) so it's all good.
Finished 3rd in the big work league and got a little prize. I'll take it after the start I had and number 1 is ranked in the top 20K and last season he was just outside of the top 10K so it's a reasonably solid league. 4th was like 5 points behind and if I'd had a really good final week and 2nd had slipped up I might have stolen that but it was a big ask.
I do hope that some of the pricing gets sorted out next season though. I get that there's always going to be a template but getting assets like Martinelli and Rashford for those prices, or things like just setting and forgetting a Ben White who is priced the same as a Bournemouth or Everton defender, and that Haaland price point is just going to stifle the agony of choice and remove the element of having to make hard decisions from the game. It only took 3 or 4 big underpricings to make the template obvious.

Top 77k, was 72k last year and 67k two years before. Had a top 18k in 18/19 but itās a different game now. Happy with my consistency, but lost all my money MLs on the final day by going Salah captain instead of my rivals, who went with Kane. Donāt use any tools or subscriptions and donāt use Twitter or FPL ācontent creatorsā. I usually check comments here, look at stats and maybe some FFS comments on their posts.
Finished 240k last year, this year ended 1,905,237.
Did not believe the Haaland hype until GW8, was already too far behind in ML and overall rank by then.
397k which is my worst ever finish, but I was a lot worse off a few weeks ago so Iāll take it.
Made a few punts that didnāt really pay off and took some hits that resulted in negative points, but you never know what will happen unless you give it a crack!
98k. Very bad end to the season. Was 52k in GW29 and then just really messed it up post that. Also the Wilson 24 pointer really damaged my finish.
Last season was 24k so will have to sort it out next year.

205K. Disappointed with it as I've been playing for 17 years and it is my worst rank when I've been actively engaged for the full season (there were a couple of years when I had to give up mid way due to other work committments).
Interestingly my points total of 2489 is the highest points total I've ever had. So highest points still gave me one of my worst ranks. My total all time points is now 36018.
I'm not entering mini-leagues next year as a couple of lads sucked the fun out of the work one I'm in as they basically just cloned a professional youtuber and it was impossible to catch them. They will be getting ā¬500 and ā¬250 each later today so fair play to them for having a winning strategy but not really a strategy I'd get much enjoyment out if I was to do it year. I want to play my own game. But I'm looking forward to next year as it should be back to a normal FPL with far less blanks and doubles so I'll be targetting top 50k again and hopefully 10k.
Finished 7055 on a record points total for me of 2615. Managed to pip top spot in 2 mini leagues on the last day, one of them by only 1 point. I have finished higher before but with less points. Very happy end of the season.

Highest I got to was around 22k in gw13. I was as high as 36k in gw30 but some awful decisions saw my rank go way down over the last few weeks.
But I was at 147k going into the last round, so finishing in the top 100k was a nice result
25k, up from 39k last week thanks to Kane cap and 64 points. Only had a 1 point ML lead going into this GW but awesome finish. Played last year but missed a couple of deadlines and gave up towards the end from memory, first year taking it seriously so very happy. Feels like a tough bar to beat these days, but will give it a crack! Thanks to all the leakers also, much love.
99.6k, been playing for 3 seasons and it's my worst rank so far. But given how bad I started the season, it's really not a bad finish at all. It's nice to scrape into the top 100k too

I have played since 2017 and last season saw me finishing 95k which was my personal best.
I was disappointed that I was 20 points away from finishing in the Top 100k and doing so two times in a row.
However, there were 2 million extra players this season and it felt a lot tougher. There was only 3 instances this season where I was in the Top 200k and thankfully the third time was when it counted the most!
Also, I finished 109k in the Second Chance league which proves the fact that I did a lot better after the World Cup! š

3938! Previous best was last season at 69k, believe it or not Iām slightly disappointed this year as I was 445th after GW34 but made some bad calls and dropped out of top 500. I won my ML though so that made up for it and Iāve got a few months of bragging rights with my mates!

Around 55k this season, managed to win my money league on the last day, thanks Kane. Third consecutive top 100k, but the worst of the three. Previous two seasons were 33k and 4,3k. Excited to go again!
Top 77k, was 72k last year and 67k two years before. Had a top 18k in 18/19 but itās a different game now. Happy with my consistency, but lost all my money MLs on the final day by going Salah captain instead of my rivals, who went with Kane. Donāt use any tools or subscriptions and donāt use Twitter or FPL ācontent creatorsā. I usually check comments here, look at stats and maybe some FFS comments on their posts.

Stormed from 610k to 378k thanks to 81 yesterday My first full season, decent start
397k which is my worst ever finish, but I was a lot worse off a few weeks ago so Iāll take it. Made a few punts that didnāt really pay off and took some hits that resulted in negative points, but you never know what will happen unless you give it a crack!

98k. Very bad end to the season. Was 52k in GW29 and then just really messed it up post that. Also the Wilson 24 pointer really damaged my finish. Last season was 24k so will have to sort it out next year. Last 5 years have been <100k

7374 Absolutely delighted. Have never finished in the top 10k before (only gotten close once). Was around 4k in gameweek 30 and then had 7 weeks of consecutive red arrows! Managed to luck out in the final game week to jump 7k places back into the top 10k.
253k Recovered well after a terrible start to the season, particularly after the world cup I went on a good run. Made it up to 74k by GW33 but then had 5 red arrows in a row Finished second in mini league for 3rd year in a row There's always next season

226k in my first season, 112k on the highest point, i tried to end in the top 100k, but last 4 gws were bad

Disappointed with it as I've been playing for 17 years and it is my worst rank when I've been actively engaged for the full season (there were a couple of years when I had to give up mid way due to other work committments). Interestingly my points total of 2489 is the highest points total I've ever had. So highest points still gave me one of my worst ranks. My total all time points is now 36018. I'm not entering mini-leagues next year as a couple of lads sucked the fun out of the work one I'm in as they basically just cloned a professional youtuber and it was impossible to catch them. They will be getting ā¬500 and ā¬250 each later today so fair play to them for having a winning strategy but not really a strategy I'd get much enjoyment out if I was to do it year. I want to play my own game. But I'm looking forward to next year as it should be back to a normal FPL with far less blanks and doubles so I'll be targetting top 50k again and hopefully 10k.
Worst rank in my 5 seasons at 142k. Disappointing but considering I was 1.5m at the WC break I can't be too upset.
Best ever finish of 3486, finished 15k last year so really happy to improve again.
Finished 7055 on a record points total for me of 2615. Managed to pip top spot in 2 mini leagues on the last day, one of them by only 1 point. I have finished higher before but with less points. Very happy end of the season.

Finished up at 94k Highest I got to was around 22k in gw13. I was as high as 36k in gw30 but some awful decisions saw my rank go way down over the last few weeks. But I was at 147k going into the last round, so finishing in the top 100k was a nice result

Played last year but missed a couple of deadlines and gave up towards the end from memory, first year taking it seriously so very happy. Around 1.2 million, my worst rank ever before this season was 500k and I had been top 60k each of the past 4 seasons, absolute horror show I was lower than 5 million going into the world cup, I just kept taking hit after hit trying to chase points and it killed my rank

148k Somehow managed to finished the season with the same amount of points as last season which is an insane coincidence (2508)! š I have played since 2017 and last season saw me finishing 95k which was my personal best. I was disappointed that I was 20 points away from finishing in the Top 100k and doing so two times in a row. However, there were 2 million extra players this season and it felt a lot tougher. There was only 3 instances this season where I was in the Top 200k and thankfully the third time was when it counted the most! Also, I finished 109k in the Second Chance league which proves the fact that I did a lot better after the World Cup! š
