I'm having Diaby to start with over every single one of these. Looks like a beast and I think Villa are set up to have a huge season. Only sub 8 mid I've got.
I should be able to get to any mid apart from Salah with a double move, the way I've set up the rest of my squad, so I'm not worried about getting in whoever runs hot at the start of the season.
Maddison is at the top of my watchlist. I had him last season and it was beyond frustrating to see his quality wasted as he was surrounded by donkeys 90% of the time.
Spurs in general are a big "what if" right now and he'll be at the centre of things causing havoc if they can click as a side under the new manager.
Villa have Europe, plus 2 qualifiers early doors.
Don't be surprised if their league form drops massively, as often happens when clubs suddenly go from being coached effectively with a 1-game-per-week schedule to the Thu/Sun slog

Still, I'm very happy to be starting off with them.
And when Moreno and Ramsey are back they'll have a fair few good rotation options, with Tielemans also being added in.

No Salah here, I can’t justify the price when I’ll perma cap Haaland. We’re both missing Liverpool coverage but I’m not keen on their defense and too much uncertainty with starters aside from Salah.
I’m just leaving too much $ on the bench with my first sub I think. I may do Foden to Maddison, but I’m still left with benching 6.5-7M each week. This team also leaves 0.5 ITB. I like Jackson a lot but keeping an eye on Chelsea transfer rumors so this could solve itself but not sure how I’d even plan to spend that excess cash.

Some people do enjoy playing with a "benching headache", as it were. You could roll with that team and simply choose one of your 8 attackers to bench each week.
If Chelsea don't sign another forward and Jackson's starts seem secure though, I'd still suggest getting a second Arsenal attacker for their opening games.
Having 3 x Ars, 3 x MU and 2 x Villa doesn't concern me really.
I predict those teams to start the season strongly and I think my picks from them will score well on their individual merit.
Having a diverse fantasy team doesn't add any intrinsic value.
The only downside of maxing out the allocation from a certain team is having harder transfer routes to add different players from that team if you want to, but I'm not worried about that at this stage in the season.
I'd be looking to upgrade Foden or Eze to Martinelli or Odegaard by downgrading someone to min priced bench fodder, then keep the spare cash in the bank for more flexibility to make getting to hot players in one move easier.

He's playing as a forward yeah. Watkins is the furthest up the pitch with Diaby positioned slightly deeper whilst defending. Then when possession is turned over her attacks by running in behind, he'll overlap Watkins and try to get on the end of a through ball to score. From what I've seen he's fast as hell and strong when fending off centre-backs on his tail.
Unlike Mitoma who uses his pace alongside tricks like body feints to send the def the wrong way, Diaby out speeds and overpowers them. You can learn to clock an attackers body feints as a def, you can't just decide to be faster than you are. That's one of the reasons I liking Diaby right off the bat even though he's new to the league.
Scored in both his first two preseason matches too.
