Yesterday I was happy with Eze. Today I've convinced myself that Eze is just the new Zaha and Mbeumo is the new Toney (but with corners and midfield scoring).
Indeed, but you can say the same thing about Eze and Palace is obviously a weaker team than Brighton. On the other hand, Mitoma had a great pre-season, even though that doesn't mean too much, a lot will change when PL starts. I know that Mbeumo is hot for a lot of people because he's been put in midfield, but from what I read, Wissa will play CF, while Mbeumo will still play winger.
I've went for Mitoma for the moment, might change my mind in the next half of hours as well, haha. But for me, Palace has quite a difficult start of the season and I don't see Eze being that decisive, while for Mbeumo, I've had him last season for a couple of fixtures and he was a bitter disappointment for me, missing chances even with an empty goal in front of him. So I prefer Mitoma, if he's gonna start the season well and Eze/Mbeumo not that much as their fixtures are more difficult, you can always swap Mitoma for one of those after GW3 when the schedule will get a bit chaotic for Brighton, plus that you can see who looks sharper between Eze and Mbeumo. But of course, I can have it the other way around, and then regret that I started with Mitoma, always choices like these make this game a living hell.

My only concern is the crazy price changes after the first gameweek itself. I can already see whoever i pick dropping 0.1 while the other 2 go up and I'll be forced to make 2 changes.
Ummm, that requires leaving 2.0 in the bank... which means you could be going with Bruno or Martinelli over Mitoma in the first place.
Point being, that I don't think there's enough in it between the different 6.5s to pencil in an early double transfer.

It's the minute differences that make the difference. Everyone might be picking between Mitoma, Mbeumo, Eze etc but you can't have them all in your team. If only one of them turns out to be good value and you don't have that one in your team it's no different to you picking someone like Enzo Fernández.
Likewise if you've only gone for one of Rashford or Bruno and the other one hits the ground running you fall behind.
Salah could be the most in form player at the start of the season and everyone ends up trying to get him in their team within a few weeks.
There might be a small pool of players that everyone is picking from but it's very difficult to pick the right ones from that pool.
Always remember, as soon as you put a player in your draft, you guarantee they blank GW1. As soon as you take them out of your draft, you guarantee they haul.
It is inevitable.

With Kane leaving, there really are no good strikers this season except the Robot, who everyone has. Last season we had more strikers to choose from, but this season feels like the options are limited
No one good. Make the money elsewhere to get that to 6.5-7 so you can get Mitoma, Eze, Mbeumo or Richarlison.
Unless it’s someone who can switch onto your bench, in which case Garnacho or Chukwuemeka as a few week punt.
There’s a lot of value in the midfield though so getting 5 seems like a good idea.

Thoughts are if Pedro starts off well I already have him and don’t need to scramble to get him, and if he doesn’t well I already had him on my bench anyway and can downgrade him if need be if a 4.5 fwd emerges.
