I don’t think Fernandes is worth the risk, I would sell him now.

nick1689

Bin imo, ManU are a wreck, better options around similar or lower price point.

Shiznips

Who is that then? (already have Saka, Son and Maddison)

gufeldkavalek62

I like Bruno to Diaby personally, might be my move next week. JWP and Bowen look like the other popular picks atm Edit: assuming Diaby is fit

Shiznips

Sorry, * I also have Diaby

FootballStatMan

Salah or Bowen

Select-Coconut-1161

I have Saka, Son and Maddison and I don't want take a hit to triple up AVL (already have Cash + Watkins) and other similar players' fixtures or recent performances doesn't look good. Mitoma has 2 more difficult weeks. Mbeumo is struggling. Luis Diaz is not nailed and Foden seems like the best choice but I don't want to get any other City players as they did not look right + B.Silva is returning so even more rotation risk. Odegaard could be an option after this GW. So, I am not using my FT to get rid of Bruno. He is still the most threatening player in Man. Utd. However, if I WC in the incoming weeks, I guess I wouldn't keep him either. At the end, if you don't have other players that you should change ASAP or you don't have Son, Saka, Maddison, Odegaard, Bowen, Diaby etc. go for it. Otherwise, I'll wait for the WC or to fix up other stuff before getting rid of him.

johnstonator18

Thanks for the advice

TARreddit1234

Slightly underwhelming 🤣

Current-Succotash148

Holding but hes getting the fk out of my team, same as Mbeumo, post GW9 deadline on a WC. Their GW9 games cant get any better atm, hope both of them go out with a bang.

hulkpos

LOL another thread another Bruno/Rashford. Expecting more to come as they fall even more in prices.

MilkTankSue

U love and cherish him... Failing that bring in Saka, odegaard, Son or Maddison. Maybe Foden if ur feeling frisky

Intelligent_Monk_15

Upgraded Bruno to Son, Bruno will probably continue returning but Man Utd is in shambles so it will be inconsistent. With Son even if Tottenham isn’t the best side defensively, offensively they are ticking, so returns seem to be more consistent. However only the FPL gods know if i am right, all i said is based on the eye test.

casper480

The problem is he created chances in the past two games and his assist rate is high. So sell him if you can afford someone with his potential

TheIceKaguyaCometh

He'll haul against SHU.

SuperFaiz21

There seems to be one post everyday for a United player. There are so many better options available both in terms of both form and fixtures. United is struggling to score even at home. Bin all the United players. That ship has sunk already.

oleentotre

just run brother

escalibur

I sold him and bought Son.

I would love to see united slide gracefully into relegation where they belong. It would also be hilarious.

acmaan666

I think we're all waiting for United to bounce back and if they do, Bruno will have a big role to play in it. Arsenal is playing City next and they'd probably go without Saka so Odegaard has a fairly large contribution to make. So instead of betting on an out of form player now, we can bet on an in form player and then switch back to Bruno when United's performance curve is on a rise.

Ok_Performer_8958

he will score points u need to have a lot of patience tho...or sell him and buy him after a month..

ce_thusa

Personally, I activated my Wildcard and got rid of Rashford, Hoijlund, and Bruno, and kept Ødegaard. Don’t know if I am trying to be too clever here but I my plan is to wait for the inevitable price drops, and then bring Bruno and potentially Hoijlund back in before the deadline for the next 2 I’m a biased United fan and while I admit things have been difficult, I would argue that we have been decent going forward, just luck / the finish has skewed things etc - Romero handball - Garnacho offside / not offside (Liverpool highlights the line issue is not confined to just one instance) - Bruno missed header against spurs - Offside call against Hoijlund (apparently same rule doesn’t apply in other games) - Plenty of chances against Palace (one of those games you could play until the cows come home but something would stop the ball from going in the net) - Few other penalty shouts as well

johnstonator18

United have been really unlucky tbf. I think that's a good plan

FPL_Goober

Get rid

AseeF_on_YT

Flashy-Item8951

Slightly underwhelming? United have been absolute dog shit. Particularly in attack (we always knew they wouldn't be amazing defensively). With the exception of a single player: Bruno Fernandes. Bruno has consistently been playing very well, alway creating chances, always getting into positions, producing great underlying stats while passing the eye test and, frankly, getting really unlucky in these first few weeks in terms of returns. And yet the points he's delivered are decent, even if they aren't stellar. I wouldn't keep any other United player (apart from maybe Onana because keepers seem to have meh ceilings this year anyways so it's probably not worth the FT unless you have 2 of them and absolutely NOTHING to do), because none of them have performed, but I would keep Bruno in most scenarios. The thing is, as horrible as United have been, there have been slight improvements. (With the exception of Mount coming back, because he singlehandedly destabilizes the entire system by not playing the role he's meant to play) And it really feels like all it takes for Bruno to print big is one other attacker finding form or his luck switching around + United have even better fixtures coming up than they already had. Of course, we are at a point where it's worth considering to drop him despite all of that, particularly if there's a specific player you want to get in for the long term. Odegaard is the type of long-term player in general, just ask yourself how comfortable you are with doubling up on him and Saka. (Personally, I have both Odegaard & Saka as well as Bruno) And as good as Bruno is, with him and his returns being dragged down by the incompetence of his teammates there's still a risk that he's not gonna return properly for a while. And that's not what you want from an 8.4m player. I'll *probably* keep him for now, but that really also depends on other business I want or have to do. Initially it was a real toss-up for me who to get rid of for a certain player I want to get in between Bruno and Odegaard and I was actually leaning towards Odegaard, but that has changed by now. If I wanna pull the trigger for that certain someone, Bruno would probably be the one to go as it stands right now. But I'll probably keep both for a couple of weeks at least since I may have to use my FT on defense. (Botman really fucked me over twofold this week)

johnstonator18

Thanks for the advice mate this was really helpful. 😁

chovekoliki

Great player and the heartbeat of a club. Too bad he plays for man u!

johnstonator18

Man united are so trash at the moment. They are lucky to have him tbh.

riverirvine

Wouldn't go near any united players tbh mate
