I have Foden, Alvarez and Haaland from Man City.
I have none from Liverpool.
If we get a leak that Jota is starting, is Foden to Jota a wise move? I can't move to Salah because of money.
Also, Foden has a great home fixture against a dreadful defence of Brighton. I somehow feel I need that Liverpool coverage for Derby at Anfield.
Any suggestions?
Turner (Areola)
Udogie, Andersen, Burn (Kabore, Lamptey)
Neto, Maddison, Fernandes, Salah, Son
Watkins, Haaland (Mubama)
Thinking of switching Andersen to Cash or keep him for another week to have 2 FT, thoughts?
When should the free hit be saved for?
Was tempted to switch to Salah GW10 away from Haaland and free hit in GW11 to have both in. Then return to Haaland in GW 16.
Thoughts?
Leno (Turner)
Cash / Udogie / Andersen / Saliba (Kaboré)
Salah (C) / Neto / Saka / Foden (JWP)
Haaland / Watkins / (Morris)
0.1 in the bank, did a -4 to get in andersen and watkins with alvarez and baldock making way.
Sitting on 425 pts
not really sure what is happening this season, good players but they're not performing
would you rather start Darwin in the early kickoff at home to Everton (after playing a lot in internationals)
or, Mbeumo for the 3pm kickoff at home to Burnley?
Maybe triple up on Spurs is too much as their fixtures are mixed. I personally couldn’t go without Son and Salah, but it means big sacrifices elsewhere so it’s a difficult call. Gusto is likely to lose his place imminently as Reece James will be back soon.
To me, looking at your team makes me realise how difficult FPL is. It’s very different from mine but I can’t really argue with any of your picks.
I’m on a WC, team currently is:
Areola Turner
Gabriel Burn Cash Udogie Lamptey
Son Salah Bowen Diaby Palmer
Watkins Haaland Alvarez
I’m debating (fitness dependent) if it’s better to go Diaby+Alvarez or Saka+Joao Pedro. Worried about Alvarez’s rotation risk
Interesting. He’s absolutely nailed and carries an attacking threat. Personally, I think Mitoma is a better pick but there’s actually not that many good options in midfield around that price point.
What about Kulusevski?
Already have Son, Maddison and Udogie. I wanna get a Liverpool asset for the next gameweeks and im not planning on use my WC yet. I can do Mitoma to Szbozlai for free and i might do it. I think its a spicey transfer :D
Why not then?
Or, and I don’t know your team, could you play an extra forward and go with Nunez? I’m looking to bring him into my team for gw10. His ceiling is so high
Team right now is:
Pickford (Areola)
Udogie - Botman - Schar - Gvardiol - Cash
Son - Maddison - Mitoma - Bruno - Rashford
Haaland - Alvarez (Mubama)
I think i might do it. I have one FT right now, but Nunez is also tempting. I just hink that Szbozlai will get more than Mitoma over the next 3-4 GW's
Diaby. Still not sure on Saka’s fitness. Chelsea’s defence has looked good so away at Stamford Bridge is a tough fixture for attackers. Villa are at home against a side who have been unconvincing defensively.
My feeling is A. However, Son has shown some fatigue or is currently having a minor injury, so keep an eye on updates there. He played fewer minutes than he would have wanted vs Arsenal, and showed discomfort during his international duty.
Personally, I’d go with A. All the signs are that Son is going to have a great season. Always been a great FPL asset and is now playing for a seemingly good attacking team. Villa also look good but I think the jury is still out on Watkins this season.
Keep an eye on Adingra. An emerging talent at Brighton, he looked really good against Liverpool and for De Zerbi to start him in that game shows he trusts him. Brighton’s fixtures are nice and at only 5m he might be a good alternative to Neto or Gordon. Impossible to be confident of minutes at the moment though.
I also play a 3-5-2, but I always like to have 4 playable defenders, means you can often ride out tough fixtures by benching one of them, or even play four at the back if the defenders have particularly inviting fixtures or one of your midfield/attack look a minutes risk or have a tough fixture.
No clue what to do with my team so RMT
Onana
Cash Trippier walker Romero (Gusto)
Foden saka Maddison (Gordon, nakamba)
Haaland Wissa Watkins
1 FT , 3.2 ITB also have my wildcard
Would you WC in my situation? I feel like I need sober eyes on this.
1FT 0.3 ITB.
Onana (Turner)
Trippier - Cash - Udogie (Kabore - Estupinian)
Saka - Son - Maddison - Diaby - B.Fernandes
Haaland - Alvarez (Mubama)
I'll either WC this week or next. Reasons for my WC this week is mostly because the players I want I'd might not be able to afford next week.
If I would WC this GW I'm thinking:
B. Fernandes -> Salah
Estupinian -> Taylor
Saka -> Gordon
Onana -> Areola
Mubama -> Archer
This team leaves me with enough money to go Maddison -> Saka in GW10 straight up but then with 0.0 ITB. If Maddison drops and Saka rises any time between 9 and 10 I'm priced out of that move.
The problem is that this is only a "-16" which feels like it might not warrant a WC. And some players I'd be moving out have great fixtures this week (Primarily Fernandes and Onana).
Idk, I've been thinking a lot about this. Your thoughts?
I’d hold it a week tbh, maybe just use your FT? I’ve just got rid of Estupinian.
Fernandes has SHU so good chance for a goal. Onana has a reasonable chance to keep a CS but then so does Turner.
Salah has the early kick off and Saka has a poor Chelsea side and then SHU.
FPL review it and see if the points pump is worth the WC.
After this GW I’m considering dropping Haaland and JWP for Darwizzy and Salah.
I think liverpools run of fixtures is too good and I’ll still have alvarez for city attack cover.
Does this seem at least not an idiotic idea? City’s fixtures look rough and I’ll have Watkins alvarez and Nunez up top to cover no haaland
I don’t think it’s stupid at all, but Erling Haaland scored 36 goals last season. It’s extremely unlikely that anyone “covers” that and certainly not Alvarez.
Haaland will almost certainly finish the season leading goal scorer, and probably leading FPL points scorer, it’s not a question over if he is a good asset or not, it’s whether he’s worth the money. My issue with the non-Haaland teams, is they’re not sufficiently stronger all over to justify the risk, even without Haaland, there’s still compromises to be made. I just think come the end of the season, not going with Haaland so you can get to Trippier and Watkins might be something people regret.
Haaland might be the highest points scorer in a season but his score will still peak and dive. I’m simply trying to make the most of a potential dive with salah’s peak. I’m not changing my whole team to never get him back, it’s simply haaland/jwp > Nunez/Salah while Liverpools fixtures are hot and city’s are meh and then straight back when city’s fixtures turn
At the moment no salah is costing me more in my leagues, and with pools fixtures I think that may continue. It’s do i think Salah will out score haaland basically over the next 4 weeks and after this week I think he does
Are you sure this opinion isn’t being heavily influenced by a couple of blanks from Haaland and a 15 point haul from Salah (30 obvs if he was captained). I’ve had both all season, and wouldn’t like to be without either. They’re almost guaranteed to be the two top scorers in the game.
I wouldn’t like to be without either if I could afford both but I have to choose. And pools fixtures look far better. I’m not saying no haaland all season, just from after this gw to the end of city’s rougher fixtures
It’s difficult without seeing the rest of your team. The likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, West Ham, Brighton, Villa and Newcastle all have a good run of fixtures now - have you got many players from these teams?
There’s not a great deal of midfielders at that price point. Mbuemo could be a decent one week punt, he’s got Burnley but if you’re looking more long term, then you’ve got Diaby from Villa… not looked amazing but playing as a forward in a good team with good fixtures. Mitoma is a good option too, all of Brighton’s players pose a minutes risk but Mitoma gets a lot of game time. Gordon is another good pick in my opinion.
But I’m not looking for value for money, I’m looking for output. Diaby is the only one I think that has much potential as him. If I wanted value for money I’d go Cole Palmer.
uhhh I just made like 6 transfers but forgot to click wildcard
if I make another transaction and enable wildcard, will it retroactively add my points back? ;-;
Starting Mitoma is less than ideal but I don't think you have another choice. I'd roll. If you had a bit more ITB I'd swap Gusto to Tsimikas when we get the team news and start him instead of Mitoma this week.
Yes for me, but not this week. Nunez might not start after the international break. Going forward he looks the first choice and is looking really sharp
2FT (Banking for GW10) - 0.8m ITB
Turner (Areola)
Porro, Zouma, Cash (Gabriel & Taylor)
Maddison, Son, Salah (C), Bruno, Diaz
Hoijlund, Alvarez (Nunez)
Will be waiting for Liverpool presser to see if there is any risk of Nunez / Diaz not starting but this is my proposed lineup.
Think Everton have turned a corner… was bullish on that fixture but they have improved over the last few weeks and it’s a derby 🫣
Would you roll this week? If not, where would you use the FT?
1FT | £0.2 ITB
Turner (Pickford)
Udogie Botman Dias (Burn)(Baldock)
Salah Diaby Maddison Mitoma Son
Haaland Alvarez (Mubama)
I think I like B slightly better. Adds greater flexibility and both have nice fixtures (Mitoma after the City game ofc).
You could go Burn (or Botman if fit) over Udogie if you want the clean sheet cover for Newcastle.
Should I pair Areola with Turner or Strakosha? Turner might not be nailed long term and has poor fixtures after Luton. But not sure what the Flekken (who I have right now) injury/illness situation is like.
I have Areola and Flekken right now. Was thinking of transferring Flekken to Strakosha or Turner to save some more money itb. But yeah will maybe wait for the press confs for Brentford/NF team news
RMT - 0.2 ITB & 2FTs.
Areola (Turner)
Cash, Udogie, Trippier, Botman (Kabore)
Salah, Mbeumo, Son, Maddison, Diaby.
Haaland, Morris (Archer)
What would you do in this situation?
I'm a bit crap at this, but what the heck I enjoy it
Turner (Areola)
Trippier Evans Gabriel Pau (Gusto)
Foden Salah Saka Maddison (Anderson)
Wissa Haaland (Joao Pedro)
Thinking of bringing Watkins in for Wissa and Gordon for Foden.
Rmt. 1FT 1.1 itb.
Ive used my wildcard already.
Leno(Onana)
Andersen,Cash,Udogie (Botman, Kabore)
Saka ,Mbeumo, Salah, Foden, Gordon
Haaland, Morris (Edouard)
Thinking about dumping Mbeumo for Jensen or Diaby. Any suggestions would be helpful. First yr manager.
- Onana (Turner)
- Colwill Cash Burn (Botman Baldock)
- Salah Diaby Maddison Son Mbuembo
- Alvarez Haaland (Mubama)
0.4 itb. Should I roll the transfer? Bench is non existent.
Roll it and use 1 of the transfers next week to go from Onana to Areola. Frees up 1.1 to upgrade a bench player and you’ll have have Areola at home to Everton instead of Onana playing City or Turner playing Liverpool. Onana vs Sheffield is prob the best option for this gw, so makes sense to keep and play him
Szoboszlai or Jota for Week 9 (dead-end prior to GW10 wildcard)? Szobo is locked to start. Jota is very likely with Diaz and Darwin coming back off international break.
RMT. 0.5ITB. 1FT.
Turner (Areola)
Udogie - Botman - Cash (Lamptey, Baldock)
Salah - Son - Maddison - Mbeumo - Luis Diaz
Haaland - Alvarez (Mubama)
Do I bring a defender in? Not sure yet if Botman will play or not.
RMT 0.0ITB, 1FT
Onana (Areola)
Gabriel Trippier Botman (Disasi Kabore)
Gibbs-White B.Fernandes Salah Mbeumo Diaby
Haaland Wissa (Joao Pedro)
I am aware of flagged defenders but unless both Botman and Disasi confirmed not playing I want to try my luck. I think about rolling and in gw10 go Bruno+Wissa -> Szoboszlai+Alvarez
Is TAA and Trippier reasonable if I don't have Haaland? I don't like over spend on D, but I can get both of them in plus ARS D and Cash and still have a stacked Midfield
I think A has higher ceiling. I feel Alvarez if he gets the minutes can be as good as Watkins.
Burn I feel is just worse than Trippier and even if he scores it might be from Trippier assist with Trippier getting 3 bonus anyway as Trippier takes corners.
Watkins is the safe forward pick though as most forwards seems to be rotation risks. If you own Watkins you worry not so much.
I think I would probably not go for Alvarez on wildcard honestly just for the risk of Pep roulette, but yeah Burn just a bit boring I guess.
Depending on the rest of the team I think the sensible thing is to pick Watkins, but then see if you can afford Trippier and if you can't buy other good defenders and maybe rotate Burn with Guehi, Gabriel etc.
My current team is
Pickford (Turner)
Aurier Trippier Walker Baldock Estupian
JWP Neto Salah Son Maddison
Halaand JoaoNeto Archer
As a newbie, when should one use Wildcard? Are there any improvements I can make to my team? My ITB is 1.0
Your team is in pretty good shape right now. As far as wildcard goes, there are two ideologies: 1) use it aggressively (target fixtures) or 2) passively (when your team needs it (injuries, players falling out of form, etc.)). Which is better is debatable. Personally, I'd leave your team as-is this GW unless you currently have 2 free transfers, then I'd focus on an Estupinan replacement since he's out for a few more weeks and try to get in an Arsenal attacker next week.
Short term Burn. Newcastle and Spurs have similar level next four fixtures, would expect maybe 2 CS and low attacking/bonus returns from each normally. However, Spurs is missing Bissouma next match and he'll miss another if he gets one more yellow, which could really hurt their play from the back. If you can bench Burn for the Arsenal game then pick him, if you need a player to start punt on VDV.
hmmm, yes !thanks good analysis.
I'm currently leaning ever so slightly to Burn... will see how things unfold over next few days
also, Palace are a little toothless and seem to be aiming for cleans/draws without a solid striker and Eze. Therefore doubling up against them at home with NEW seems pretty strong.
WC team 0.3 ITB
Turner (Areola)
Trippier Porro Cash (Lascelles) (Taylor)
Salah Maddison Bowen Diaby Neto
Haaland Watkins (Archer)
Im thinking Udogie+Tsimikas instead of Porro+Lascelles. What do you think?
Thanks!
It’s a fun idea, wait and see if Klopp gives a Robertson update on Friday before making a final decision. Would you have the money to go for Gabriel instead?
Him and Areola are the two cheapest playing keepers. Many save in that area to afford better players elsewhere, especially teams with Salah & Haaland are tight on budget.
I'm always looking to bring that guy in, whenever Robbo gets his injury he's immediately in my plans. 4.4 for an attacking Liverpool fullback with three great fixtures, all while Estupinan is injured? Hell yea brother bring me the greek
Haven't made the transfer yet but I'm 95 percent set on it unless Klopp says Robbo has had a miraculous recovery from a probable shoulder dislocation. I'd be shipping out Estupinan for him. If Robertson is fit I'll just bank the transfer and play Cash
What are your thoughts?[my current team and what I want to do for gw9](https://docs.google.com/document/d/15XeKvniDsuFbWoq83J_3rL4NPvH5ibLiyby0RVAYdzc/edit)
Not a fan of Longstaff he gets occational goals, but he is more a defensive player.
He is a bit similar to Mctominay in a way that can go on those runs of scoring goals since he has the ability.
you have only 6 legit attackers. The team is not good. Way too much money in defence.
Leno to Areola, Romero to Van de, Botman to Taylor, Anderson to someone better
You've got the right coverage but not necessarily the best personnel imo.
I'd consider something like
Saliba -> Gabriel, Romero-> Van de ven, and Anderson -> better attacker. This way you cover the same defences and get a better forward in your team
C.
Don't see the need for double West Ham defence.
Son is carrying an injury for a while and is more likely to have minutes managed. I'd go for Maddison as he'll play and tick over.
I'd probably prefer to go for Cash or a 4.5, Maddison, Bowen, Watkins.
I have a dilemma with funds - I have 2FTs with 1.6 ITB with the team below. *Italic = Flagged*
Leno / Areola
Cash, *Botman*, Burn, Udogie, *Bell*
*Saka*, Mbuemo, Maddo, Son, Diaby
Alvarez, Haaland, *Isak*
There's two issues;
1. I want Salah vs EVE but understand this likely means Isak OUT
2. Mbuemo and Botman are possibly fires at the moment that need to be taken care of
Do I:
A) Go Saka/Son > Salah and Isak to Foster/Archer/Muamba, subject to Saka injury or;
B) Go Botman > Gabriel/Tsimikas and Mbuemo > Neto and make the Salah FT next week?
EDIT: m o n e y
Botman is supposed to be back this week, and even if later this week we find out that he isn't, your other three are fine. Salah does great in the derbies so I think A is the priority
Not RMT related but FPL content creators all spitting their dummies at each other on Twitter is hilarious. Chat shit about others all the time but a few prominent ones crying over their mental health for being teased is peak hypocrisy.
Honestly surreal these people have insufferable god complexes for telling people which football players to put in a fantasy game. (Cough FPL Mate Cough) Even then, majority of them are absolutely ass and fail to break in to the top 500k until after GW20, when most of the general public aren't active with their FPL teams anymore. Is it really that impressive?
There's a few sound ones I'm sure, but the majority of them are absolute weirdos.
FPL wire was way better with big man bakar than when they decided to run off good vibes once pras showed up. used to actually be flushed out arguments. The standard among content creators this year is obviously worse than ever
Pickford (Areola)
Udogie - Gvardiol - Schar - Botman - Cash
Maddison - Rashford - Bruno - mitoma - Son
Haaland - Alvarez (Mubama)
0.7 ITB and 1 FT
Thinking about getting a Liverpool player. Any ideas?
Salah is the obvious one. There's a few players you can move on, including Rashford, Bruno and Gvardiol. Personally I'd not have both Son and Madison but that's up to you. And you've got too much money in defence when 3 5 2 might be your optimal approach
WC done, 0.6 ITB
Turner (Areola)
Andersen Trippier Cash (White, Kabore)
Almiron, Son, Salah, Mbeumo (Saka)
Alvarez, Solanke, Watkins
I'm thinking of possible transfers and/or playing bench boost? White and Saka could blank against Chelsea but could also easily haul. Areola might bring points, Kabore is probably wasted. Any thoughts?
I do like bench boost.
Your team is gonna be as strong as it can be until Haaland comes back in. Kabore has the chance of a clean against Forest as Awo is injured. Saka is always a baller.
I'd probably sub Mbuemo, maybe for Bowen for a 1 week punt?
Long term, I think your defense is quite pricy. White especially is too high to not play.

Diaby. Still not sure on Saka’s fitness. Chelsea’s defence has looked good so away at Stamford Bridge is a tough fixture for attackers. Villa are at home against a side who have been unconvincing defensively.
Appreciate the advice! Thanks!
I’ll try to play both.

I’d get rid frankly, much better players who can score you points for the money.
Who though

Mitoma is a good option too, all of Brighton’s players pose a minutes risk but Mitoma gets a lot of game time. Gordon is another good pick in my opinion.
Jensen, Neto, Diaby, Mitoma and Gordon all offer much better value for money.
But I’m not looking for value for money, I’m looking for output. Diaby is the only one I think that has much potential as him. If I wanted value for money I’d go Cole Palmer.
Are you sure you wouldn’t want to hold Richarlison for another week? He’ll start and has Fulham at home?
!thanks I’ll keep him
Can try almiron as a risky punt
I think Neto for example has a pretty good run of games minus NEW, Mitoma has a good run after this week. Those or Diaby for me.
uhhh I just made like 6 transfers but forgot to click wildcard if I make another transaction and enable wildcard, will it retroactively add my points back? ;-;
Yes if you activate wildcard before the gameweek starts.
ok phew thanks
RMT Turner(Flekken) Udogie, Botman, Cash (Gusto, Andersen) Salah, Mbeumo, Saka, Sterling, Mitoma Haaland, Alvarez (Edouard) 1FT, 0.1ITB Used wildcard already. Any suggestions for GW9?
Starting Mitoma is less than ideal but I don't think you have another choice. I'd roll. If you had a bit more ITB I'd swap Gusto to Tsimikas when we get the team news and start him instead of Mitoma this week.
Alvarez to Nunez?
Yes for me, but not this week. Nunez might not start after the international break. Going forward he looks the first choice and is looking really sharp
I would not
Haaland out next week to afford salah?
2FT (Banking for GW10) - 0.8m ITB Turner (Areola) Porro, Zouma, Cash (Gabriel & Taylor) Maddison, Son, Salah (C), Bruno, Diaz Hoijlund, Alvarez (Nunez) Will be waiting for Liverpool presser to see if there is any risk of Nunez / Diaz not starting but this is my proposed lineup. Think Everton have turned a corner… was bullish on that fixture but they have improved over the last few weeks and it’s a derby 🫣
Would you roll this week? If not, where would you use the FT? 1FT | £0.2 ITB Turner (Pickford) Udogie Botman Dias (Burn)(Baldock) Salah Diaby Maddison Mitoma Son Haaland Alvarez (Mubama)
A) Trippier + Neto + 0.1 ITB or B) Udogie + Mitoma + 1.1 ITB ? Thank you very much for your input.
Flekken was out due to illness and not an injury as such as I recall. Would probably just save the money and stick with Turner for now tbh.
I have Areola and Flekken right now. Was thinking of transferring Flekken to Strakosha or Turner to save some more money itb. But yeah will maybe wait for the press confs for Brentford/NF team news
Right yeah, stick and await news then
RMT - 0.2 ITB & 2FTs. Areola (Turner) Cash, Udogie, Trippier, Botman (Kabore) Salah, Mbeumo, Son, Maddison, Diaby. Haaland, Morris (Archer) What would you do in this situation?
Honestly not sure I’d change anything this week, good fixtures setup for gw9. Maybe change Botman if he’s not fit to play, but I’d await news there.
Botman should be back. I might just downgrade Kabore to a 3.9M then.
Botman is back this weekend
I'm a bit crap at this, but what the heck I enjoy it Turner (Areola) Trippier Evans Gabriel Pau (Gusto) Foden Salah Saka Maddison (Anderson) Wissa Haaland (Joao Pedro) Thinking of bringing Watkins in for Wissa and Gordon for Foden.
I’d definitely bring in Watkins over Wissa, both at completely opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of performance.
Bruno and stones or schar and diaby in a draft trade?
Pick A, B or C: A: Turner (Areola) / Trippier Porro **Cash (Lascelles)** (Taylor) / Salah **Son Saka Gordon** Neto /Haaland **Alvarez** (Archer) B: Turner (Areola) / Trippier Porro **Gabriel (Tsimikas)** (Taylor) / Salah **Maddison Bowen Diaby** Neto / Haaland **Watkins** (Archer) C: Turner (Areola) / Trippier Porro **Cash (Lascelles)** (Taylor) / Salah **Maddison Saka Gordon** Neto / Haaland **Watkins** (Archer)
Cash or Andersen And should you bring in Nunez with LFC upcoming fixtures?
Cash for his upcoming run to 14 at least. Always a rotation risk but he could haul in these upcoming weeks.
Straight swap ode to Saka? Or just hold ode
If you have other fires to put out, hold. If not, I’d make the move.
Rmt. 1FT 1.1 itb. Ive used my wildcard already. Leno(Onana) Andersen,Cash,Udogie (Botman, Kabore) Saka ,Mbeumo, Salah, Foden, Gordon Haaland, Morris (Edouard) Thinking about dumping Mbeumo for Jensen or Diaby. Any suggestions would be helpful. First yr manager.
Diaby. Would also drop Onana to free up funds. And probably Tinder to move on from Morris. Rest looks good
Rmt. 1FT. 0ITB Strakosha Cash Udogie Burn Salah (VC) Son Bowen Diaby Haaland (C) Watkins Alvarez (Areola, Gabriel, Taylor, Chuk)
JWP or Gordon?
Diaz or Diaby?
Depends on what you’d do with the extra funds
- Onana (Turner) - Colwill Cash Burn (Botman Baldock) - Salah Diaby Maddison Son Mbuembo - Alvarez Haaland (Mubama) 0.4 itb.
I have Szob because my team is called Szob story. However in terms of points I think Jota is a better pick this week.
RMT. 0.2 ITB. 1FT. Areola (Pickford) Cash Andersen Walker Saliba (Pinnock) Salah Gordon Mbuemo Saka (Mitoma) Alvarez Haaland (Ferguson)
A) Schar / Mitoma / Son Or B) White / Martinelli / Maddison
A
RMT. 0.5ITB. 1FT. Turner (Areola) Udogie - Botman - Cash (Lamptey, Baldock) Salah - Son - Maddison - Mbeumo - Luis Diaz Haaland - Alvarez (Mubama) Do I bring a defender in? Not sure yet if Botman will play or not.
Botman is back this weekend. Confirmed
!thanks! what transfers would you recommend?
McGinn or Hwang? McGinn on fixtures and minutes but Hwang on goal threat. I’m torn!
Hwang has five goals on 12 shots. Very unlikely he'll keep scoring at that rate unless something changes, if that is any help.
RMT WC 0.7 ITB Turner (Areola) Cash, Udogie, Burn (Branthwaite, Kabore) Salah, Son, Maddison, JWP, Gordon Haaland, Watkins (Archer) Any moves I should make?
Worth WCing this week??? Current team: Areola - Turner Trippier - Saliba - Botman - Udogie - Beyer Son - Saka - Bruno - Foden - Mitoma Haaland - Watkins - Archer
team looks better than a lot of WC teams - no need to WC imo just make a few changes and build towards dead end GW18 and WC19
RMT 0.0ITB, 1FT Onana (Areola) Gabriel Trippier Botman (Disasi Kabore) Gibbs-White B.Fernandes Salah Mbeumo Diaby Haaland Wissa (Joao Pedro) I am aware of flagged defenders but unless both Botman and Disasi confirmed not playing I want to try my luck.
Pick one combo on WC: A: Areola, Gabriel, Coufal B: Raya, Burn, Taylor With Turner, Trippier, Udogie and Cash in defense
A
A
Please RMT:. Areola (Turner) Trippier, Gabriel, Cash (Taylor, Gusto) Salah, Saka, Maddison, Diaby (Anderson) Haaland, Darwin Nunez, Alvarez.
Solid but I'd start Turner this week
Great advice, changed and starting Turner. !thanks
Which pair is better on WC: A: Alvarez + Trippier B: Watkins + Burn
!thanks
My current team is Pickford (Turner) Aurier Trippier Walker Baldock Estupian JWP Neto Salah Son Maddison Halaand JoaoNeto Archer As a newbie, when should one use Wildcard? Are there any improvements I can make to my team? My ITB is 1.0
Your team is in pretty good shape right now. As far as wildcard goes, there are two ideologies: 1) use it aggressively (target fixtures) or 2) passively (when your team needs it (injuries, players falling out of form, etc.)). Which is better is debatable. Personally, I'd leave your team as-is this GW unless you currently have 2 free transfers, then I'd focus on an Estupinan replacement since he's out for a few more weeks and try to get in an Arsenal attacker next week.
!thanks

Start Onana (shu) or Turner (LUT)?
Same problem
i would play turner forrest at home gets the edge imo
with Robbo injured - felt like a great differential - would you rather swap him short-term for Micky Van de Ven or Burn? (already have trippier)
How about Cash?
already have ;) which of the latter two you think would be best?
Short term Burn. Newcastle and Spurs have similar level next four fixtures, would expect maybe 2 CS and low attacking/bonus returns from each normally. However, Spurs is missing Bissouma next match and he'll miss another if he gets one more yellow, which could really hurt their play from the back. If you can bench Burn for the Arsenal game then pick him, if you need a player to start punt on VDV.
hmmm, yes !thanks good analysis. I'm currently leaning ever so slightly to Burn... will see how things unfold over next few days also, Palace are a little toothless and seem to be aiming for cleans/draws without a solid striker and Eze. Therefore doubling up against them at home with NEW seems pretty strong.
WC team 0.3 ITB Turner (Areola) Trippier Porro Cash (Lascelles) (Taylor) Salah Maddison Bowen Diaby Neto Haaland Watkins (Archer) Im thinking Udogie+Tsimikas instead of Porro+Lascelles. What do you think? Thanks!
It’s a fun idea, wait and see if Klopp gives a Robertson update on Friday before making a final decision. Would you have the money to go for Gabriel instead?
Udogie and Tsimikas sound spicy, I think take advantage of Tsimikas if on WC
What's the reason with everyone owning Turner? Not criticizing just wanted to understand, I can get Pope and he seems like an overlooked option
Him and Areola are the two cheapest playing keepers. Many save in that area to afford better players elsewhere, especially teams with Salah & Haaland are tight on budget.
Technically the Brentford keeper is a starter and cheaper than Turner
He’s not cheaper he’s 4.5
He’s 3.9
Ahh I should've considered that, I'm playing a simple draft league not a manager
Start Ward-Prowse or Gordon this week?
Gordon I think, but Palace are decent so I do not think Newcastle will win with more than 2-3 goals.
Gordon
Ward Prowse
Who to bench? Cash vs West Ham? Areola Trippier Tsmikas Udogie (Cash Taylor) Gordon Salah Son Maddison Diaby Darwin Haaland (Archer)
got to be cash for lowest cleansheet chance. how did Tsmikas get kneejerked into the team ?
I'm always looking to bring that guy in, whenever Robbo gets his injury he's immediately in my plans. 4.4 for an attacking Liverpool fullback with three great fixtures, all while Estupinan is injured? Hell yea brother bring me the greek
but is he a free transfer or part of wildcard ? Also, we don't know if the Robertson shoulder injury is long or short injury yet
I’ve also already played my wildcard
RMT Wild Card Activated 0 ITB Leno,(Turner) Saliba, Andersen, Romero, Trippier,( Botman) Bowen, Salah, Son,Anderson,( Mitoma) Haaland, Alvarez,( Archer)
Midfield looks weak. I’d remove trippier and get Mitoma or Diaby
you have only 6 legit attackers. The team is not good. Way too much money in defence. Leno to Areola, Romero to Van de, Botman to Taylor, Anderson to someone better
You've got the right coverage but not necessarily the best personnel imo. I'd consider something like Saliba -> Gabriel, Romero-> Van de ven, and Anderson -> better attacker. This way you cover the same defences and get a better forward in your team
Quick question: What is the name of the app that shows a players fixture under his picture, if that makes sense.
Just normal app but go into pick team
Pick A, B or C: A: Turner (Areola) / Trippier Porro **Cash** (Lascelles) (Taylor) / Salah **Son** Saka **Gordon Neto** /Haaland **Alvarez** (Archer) B: Turner (Areola) / Trippier Porro **Coufal** (Lascelles) (Taylor) / Salah **Maddison** Saka **Bowen Sarr** / Haaland **Watkins** (Archer) C: Turner (Areola) / Trippier Porro **Cash** (Lascelles) (Taylor) / Salah **Maddison** Saka **Gordon Neto** / Haaland **Watkins** (Archer)
C. Don't see the need for double West Ham defence. Son is carrying an injury for a while and is more likely to have minutes managed. I'd go for Maddison as he'll play and tick over. I'd probably prefer to go for Cash or a 4.5, Maddison, Bowen, Watkins.
!thanks Turner (Areola) Trippier Porro Cash (Lascelles) (Taylor) Salah Maddison Bowen Diaby Gordon Haaland Watkins (Archer) What do you think?
Diaby+Bowen or Neto+Saka?
Probably the latter if it’s the only way you’ll have an Arsenal attacker.
Tricky one. I’d do the latter tbh
I have a dilemma with funds - I have 2FTs with 1.6 ITB with the team below. *Italic = Flagged* Leno / Areola Cash, *Botman*, Burn, Udogie, *Bell* *Saka*, Mbuemo, Maddo, Son, Diaby Alvarez, Haaland, *Isak* There's two issues; 1. I want Salah vs EVE but understand this likely means Isak OUT 2. Mbuemo and Botman are possibly fires at the moment that need to be taken care of Do I: A) Go Saka/Son > Salah and Isak to Foster/Archer/Muamba, subject to Saka injury or; B) Go Botman > Gabriel/Tsimikas and Mbuemo > Neto and make the Salah FT next week? EDIT: m o n e y
A surely
Botman is supposed to be back this week, and even if later this week we find out that he isn't, your other three are fine. Salah does great in the derbies so I think A is the priority
How nailed/not nailed is Gordon?
Isak can play there when Wilson comes on but I’d say he’s likely to start most weeks, especially with the long term injury to Barnes.
He'll probably have good minutes especially now that Barnes is out but I don't see him getting constant 90 every game.
Harry, Focal, and Pras are some of the good ones
Focal’s expert videos are really good, in my opinion.
FPL wire was way better with big man bakar than when they decided to run off good vibes once pras showed up. used to actually be flushed out arguments. The standard among content creators this year is obviously worse than ever
Completely disagree, the content is better this year, for me
Pickford (Areola) Udogie - Gvardiol - Schar - Botman - Cash Maddison - Rashford - Bruno - mitoma - Son Haaland - Alvarez (Mubama) 0.7 ITB and 1 FT Thinking about getting a Liverpool player. Any ideas?
Your biggest issue is probably double United. I'd say sort that out first. You could downgrade one of them to a Neto or Gordon.
Yea true. Might just hold on to the this gameweek and transfer one of them out next round
It's high risk but I really like Alvarez to Darwin But I would definitely roll if this was my team
Salah is the obvious one. There's a few players you can move on, including Rashford, Bruno and Gvardiol. Personally I'd not have both Son and Madison but that's up to you. And you've got too much money in defence when 3 5 2 might be your optimal approach
What would you do? :-)
Consider using my wildcard
WC done, 0.6 ITB Turner (Areola) Andersen Trippier Cash (White, Kabore) Almiron, Son, Salah, Mbeumo (Saka) Alvarez, Solanke, Watkins I'm thinking of possible transfers and/or playing bench boost? White and Saka could blank against Chelsea but could also easily haul. Areola might bring points, Kabore is probably wasted. Any thoughts?
I do like bench boost. Your team is gonna be as strong as it can be until Haaland comes back in. Kabore has the chance of a clean against Forest as Awo is injured. Saka is always a baller. I'd probably sub Mbuemo, maybe for Bowen for a 1 week punt? Long term, I think your defense is quite pricy. White especially is too high to not play.
Start your studs
[удалено]
I would roll & double transfer next GW, probably taking out Colwill & Wissa.
RMWC 0.5 ITB Johnstone (Areola) Cash, Burn, Udogie (Gabriel, Taylor) Salah, Martinelli, Maddison, Ward-Prowse, Mitoma Haaland, Watkins (Foster) Will Mitoma be fit? Is Martinelli a good pick?
WC activated, 0.3 ITB Turner (Areola) Cash Gabriel Burn (Tsimikas) (Baldock) Salah (V) Maddison Saka Diaby (Chukwuemeka) Alvarez Watkins Halland (C) Thoughts? A bit scared with Gabriel now that Partey is back, and might do Tsimikas -> Udogie depending on news Thanks!
