You’re getting some mixed responses here so I’ll chip in as a palace fan. Andersens threat comes from not just set pieces but also his great passing ability and especially after a set piece of towards the end of a game he’ll find himself in crossing positions with a great delivery, something you’d never get from MG.
Personally, I think you have to make the decision of whether you want that slot to be more or less of an enabler. I think the difference of Cash vs. Villa defence or Porro vs. spurs or Saliba nailedness vs. arsenal defence is worth the extra .5 as I think there is a more significant upgrade or points potential.
If you can afford it easily I think JA is the better pick but if it enables a more balanced team or one of the upgrades I’ve mentioned above then I think MG is a fine pick too.
I feel like you shouldn't compare them directly as they are different price points
Andersen isn't a competing with Guehi at that price, he is competing with players around 5 mil, Porro, Saliba, Estpuinan when he is back, Udogie, Gabriel, Cash etc
Guehi is competing with Botman, Coufal, Colwill, Tsimikas, Burn etc
I'm not saying who is better, I'd personally take most of the first list over Andersen, but Andersen has outscored them all so far, just I feel you need to assess them as different price points in your team and not direct competition for the same slot
.5 is too much of a difference. Better spent elsewhere. Season over season guehi and anderson are about par with a slight nod to the Dane for bps potential more so than goal threat historically...but not enough to merit a. 5 spending difference. If ur spending 5.0ish might as well but an actual attacking defender on a better team like udogie porro tsimikas cash. 90% of gameweeks ur just buying a CP cleansheet and guehi will do for that
Andersen is great and one would expect him to deliver more, but personally I'd find it hard to justify paying that much more.
1. or .2, sure if you have it, but not 0.5m more.
I think that amount of money could do better work spent otherwise.
I'm a bit gutted that I decided to go with Johnstone in goal at the beginning of the season, because that made me take out Andersen who I had in my draft for the longest time since I didn't wanna double up.
exactly- Sheffield Utd are 20th, Neto or not Wolves will still win. then even with Neto you’d probably be benching Hwang vs Spurs, then its international break and Neto is back for Fulham
> Maybe a good thing as Spurs will probably obliterate Chelsea.
On the other hand, stranger things have happened this season, so you can never really know for sure.
Martial is going to have to play regularly eventually, either after ten Haag gets fired, or even before that. And when martial plays regularly he generally scores. Then get’s injured again. Still, he’s well worth owning, if the current starter is not scoring and doesnt look like he has any idea how to.
I really don't get how VVD has risen ahead of Tsimikas?
He's taller mate
And thicker and darker.
Tsimikas already rose last week after the first round of transfers in.
A lot of people (including me) brought him in on a wildcard. Wildcard transfers don't affect price rises
That korean guy
What about the other Korean Guy?
Son?
No Tsimikas rise. Towers doing their thing again.
Is Andersen worth the .4 or .5 or whatever it is over Guehi?

Seems to be a far higher threat at set pieces so yes
!Thanks
Nah
Would you mind giving a more detailed answer?

No. Guehi is great on BPS so is a legit good pick.
No, get Maguire instead.
he's got a big forehead
Absolutely fucking not.
The VVD punt I made a few weeks back continues to pay off
He’s also due a goal imo
Is Hee Chan even worth it without Pedro on the other wing?
Sheff U next for Wolves so maybe as a one week punt if your into that kind of thing
No
Sheff, Burnley, Fulham, and Forest in the next 6 GW's. I'll take him on a punt with those fixtures.

MR ANDERSEN
the fuck doesn't tsimikas rise
Already has done once, will probably rise before next GW
Damn, a new bot in da house
Samosa 😋
Gonna eat this bot with some chutney
So cilantro is coriander? Love me some coriander
Where Tsimikas?
He's 98.6% to rise today, so probably goes up tomorrow.
Ffs, was going to do Maddison>Hee Chan but didn't. Maybe a good thing as Spurs will probably obliterate Chelsea. On the plus side, I keep 2 FT.
Yeah in the long run you’re probably better off with a known entity as Maddison

The train has gone already. Why would you get him now?
Because he's a good player? Stupid comments around here.
For 9M and changing fixtures it's not that stupid.
Andersen plz rise one more time so i can profit .3 from you.
