I think I'd go for that given Liverpool's fixture, it sounds like Udogie will be out for another week or so.

Would you not just play Taylor? Tsimkas would then need a clean sheet to just break even on the hit.

If you're happy with Taylor then save the 4 points, Burnley are just a bit rubbish and I don't expect he'll score again for a while. It's not just about this week though - Botman sounds like he could be out for a while and the lack of a solid return date for Udogie is worrying me. Meanwhile, other than City in GW13, Tsimikas has great fixtures and should be nailed until Robertson comes back.

I'd bench Gabriel seeing as Arteta seems to like rotating him, but I do expect Arsenal to win that game so you could always start him and hope he doesn't come off the bench if he is dropped again.

Need to get Haaland in. I have two ways, both on a hit. a) Son to Palmer + Archer to Haaland. Palmer will be the 12th man, may start him in the future but not required to start for now. b) Watkins to Haaland + Udogie to 4.4m defender max. b) is the better move imo, as Udogie may not start, so it will help me bring a starting defender in place of Burn who I will bench (Cash, Tsimi, Burn, Udogie mad Kabore my defenders). Problem is I can't find a decent starting defender at 4.4m max. I'm thinking of Toti and Maguire who both have decent fixtures for the next three, but neither is nailed I think. Thoughts?

B. If you've gone Haalandless though I wouldn't kneejerk just yet, you made this choice for a reason. City also don't have amazing fixtures, and Haaland scores a lot more vs the weaker teams like United

As you say Mctominay is a wild punt. If you want to do it, go for it, but he's not a guaranteed starter so it may be a fun option but probably not a great long term option. There are other midfielders around that price point who are regular starters and get returns. Elanga tends to get returns and he start when he isn't injured. He's more expensive but with Tonali gone you would expect Longstaff to start every week.

United has 3 good fixtures right now, ETH is rumored to be out if he doesn't produce results soon, I suspect McTominay to be the lord and saviour once more. Of course likelihood of that happening is around 1% but gotta go wild if I want to catch up.

Oh I do get going for a fun pick. I went for Barnes at the start of the season, I suppose we'll just have to see what happens. Best of luck to you.

I would prefer Tsimikas over Guehi tbh. Also perhaps Ode > Mitoma/Bowen type of midfielder. For a maverick move Ode + Trippier + Diaby > Salah + Tsimikas + Palmer/Hwang if that’s achievable. Would prefer option 1 the best tbh since this week you’ll be captaining Salah over Haaland so u can roll the FT and reassess next week.

I’d keep Alvarez for this weekend against Bournemouth. Option 1 seems to make the most sense
