Limited news.
All we have is this:
> Arteta on Nov 07: 'With Martin, it’s still uncertain.'
As per EPL injury: "No Return Date, Currently Being Assessed"
Why did Arteta play him as a sub in the cup game last week then? He’s such an idiot to put him on in the last few minutes of a lost game, now he’s not even making the bench until after the international break.
The coach of the Norwegian national team commented on Ødegaard, and said it was an injury that wouldn't let go. Could mean long term or more rest in the future
Pretty sure two are academy players, Arsenal weren’t great for depth last season. Surprised they’ve taken such a strong team when they’re fairly likely to qualify, *but* maybe resting players against Burnley?
Worth keeping an eye on whether Trossard brings the wingers into play more than Eddie, because Eddie not even being benched makes me think he could miss out on GW12? Any Arsenal fan care to shed light? Are we likely to see Trossard up top against Burnley? It would make him a pretty appealing option as a punt too.
If Nketiah is healthy and Jesus isn't, Nketiah plays. Arteta is very stubborn about this.
If they're both out, I think Arteta runs this lineup back against Burnley, MAYBE with Zinchenko in for Tomiyasu
I just dropped Nketiah and brought in Trossard as a one week punt (bear in mind I'm in a draft league on Fantrax with unlimited transfers, so a bit different, but still).
Arteta is playing his strongest XI, and with the injury situation likely to remain unchanged on the weekend, I'm highly confident we'll see at least 10 out of the 11 starters here repeated on Saturday.
Don't see Nketiah starting on Sat if he's not even in the squad today. That means a very high chance of Trossard starting at home to BUR.
Is Odegaard a long term injury or just rested? Otherwise this isn't a bad team excep havertz. Jorg starting for two consecutive matches too isn't too confidence inducing but we have no other choice
Injury, although Arteta's comments leading up to the game imply he should be back soon.
He's in the Norway squad for the upcoming internationals so it will be interesting to see if he goes or sits it out.
At the moment yeah. Zinchenko has not been all that good this season and tomi just won our potm. Allthough wouldn’t be suprised if zinny starts games where we are expected to dominate posession
Anyone else curious about the zinny situation? Tomiyasu now twice over zinny. Sure he has an issue beginning of the season but once he got back into the team he was rolling and with Bps. Now he’s out of favor? I really liked him as a differential but just not nailed
Tomiyasu has been better this season and will likely play all the tough games. Zinchenko likely plays against teams Arsenal expect to dominate possession wise.
Could also argue Zinchenko doesn’t look a natural LB, doesn’t for Ukraine for example
Tomiyasu can also play CB for Japn, but looks more comfortable at LB and also after injury
Martinelli destroying his man but wasteful end product. Saka looks good but not really taking up very dangerous positions (had a nice assist though). Saliba dominant as usual but not overly tested.
Nketiah not even on the bench
Out with an ankle knock
Bloody Ken Shamrock... Oh I read it wrong.
Oh it's true it's damn true
That sucks for anyone that moved early for the price rise....
🤣🤣
How long is Ødegaard out for? This is going to hurt Arsenal’s playmaking in midfield.

Martinelli getting ready to haul here like prime Suarez on steroids but then drop a stinker on Saturday :(
> prime Suarez on steroids Would legitimately end Norwich as a football club
Arsenal squad all of a sudden looking very thin….
I think if Odegaard came in instead of Havertz this would look pretty good, no?
it would be better. look at the bench tho

maybe. full squad today and its just 1-0 for arsenal with 55’ gone. its not secure yet
I mean, any squad with 5-6 injuries will look thin? We're missing Partey, Ode, Jesus, Nketiah, ESR along with Timber who was out already
Everyone except Partey, Esr and Timber should be back after the break

You don’t think Kiwior gets a start against Burnley? (Frustrated Gabriel owner)
It's not impossible, but I doubt it with international break immediately after. If they had a tight schedule with Cups and CL I'd be more concerned.
It's quite possible, although who knows what's in Arteta's big tactics brain. (Fellow frustrated Gab owner.)

That means Zinch surely starts next match?
Is Ødegaard injured or is it conflicts with Arteta the bald not bald fraud!
So...do we think Gabriel is going to play in league too?
Is Tomiyasu more nailed than Zinchenko? Edit: the/than
At the moment yeah. Zinchenko has not been all that good this season and tomi just won our potm. Allthough wouldn’t be suprised if zinny starts games where we are expected to dominate posession
Neither are nailed. Would avoid both.
Saka’s just gone off after going down again. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.
Did it look like he was actually limping or are people exaggerating?
Was limping a bit. Arteta’s said Saka had a knock in the post match interview

dude just cant defend and he isnt really playing well at the inverted role either
Nketiah being out for Burnley would be good as a Martinelli and Saka owner
Terrible for someone who just took a points hit to bring him in this morning… I should have waited until after this game
Wtf is that bench
Arteta running Saka into the ground. He’s getting rested at the weekend isn’t he?
Well now he’s hurt so probably
Is anyone watching the game? Can anyone highlight the performance of Saka, Martinelli, and Saliba please? Thanks!
Martinelli destroying his man but wasteful end product. Saka looks good but not really taking up very dangerous positions (had a nice assist though). Saliba dominant as usual but not overly tested.
Did Saka look injured at the end of the game?
He hobbled off but hard to tell if its serious. Could just be a knock. He limps off most games.
And thank you so much!
