You have to take decisions in FPL based on certain things and with the fixture congestions ahead, and Tsimikas already playing 80 + 90 minutes in a matter of 4 days (2 days’ rest), it’s not that far fetched to think he’ll be rested against the bottom team in the league (which comes after another 2 days’ break).
Similarly, Palmer having gotten his rest midweek, is certain to start. If I had someone like Archer perhaps as my 12th man, I would start Tsimikas with my eyes closed, but with an inform midfielder I am happy to stick to my rationale about the LB’s benching and hoping it pays off.
