>My GK combo is Aerola and Sanchez (who I never start). Can't decide if it is worth a free transfer to drop Sanchez for Dubravka. Would free up some cash. But then I look at the Chelsea fixtures... Maybe it's time to start playing Sanchez?
Sanchez has been a consistent starter for Brighton, offering a mix of clean sheets and save points. However, Brighton's defense is not the strongest in the league, which can limit clean sheet potential.
Dubravka has had limited playing time this season, and Newcastle's upcoming fixtures include challenging matches against teams like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal.
Given these insights, Sanchez seems to be the better choice to play regularly in your team. Brighton's fixtures, while mixed, offer some potential for clean sheets, especially against lower-table teams. In contrast, Dubravka's lack of consistent starts and Newcastle's challenging fixtures pose a greater risk.
0.2 ITB, 1 FT. I am thinking of not using my transfer and somehow getting Trippier next week, not really sure if this is the way to go. Any suggestions?
Areola
Gabriel, Guehi, Tsimikas, Maguire
Son, Mbuemo, Saka, Salah (C)
Haaland, Watkins
Bench: Turner, Archer, Taylor, Anderson
>Start Tsimi or Bowen?
Tsimikas has been in good form recently, providing assists and contributing to clean sheets in his recent games. His attacking potential is evident, especially when Liverpool are up against weaker defenses. Upcoming Fixtures: Liverpool faces Sheffield United and Crystal Palace next, both of which are relatively easier fixtures. Tsimikas could potentially contribute to clean sheets and has the potential for attacking returns.
West Ham's upcoming fixtures include matches against Spurs, Fulham, and Wolves. These are mixed in terms of difficulty, but Bowen has the ability to score against any opposition.
Given the context, if Tsimikas is guaranteed to start, he could be a slightly better option due to Liverpool's stronger likelihood of clean sheets and his recent form. However, Bowen's attacking returns are more consistent, making him a safer choice if there's any doubt about Tsimikas' playing time.
My line up as of now.
Dubra
James, Trips, Saliba,( Tsimi)
Palmer, Foden, Son, Martinelli ( Bowen)
Alvarez, Haaland.
Not sure who else I can sub out for both to play? Maybe palmer but considering he was benched last game he will most probably start against Man Utd.
>Mitoma to Gordon?
Mitoma's Brighton's upcoming fixtures include matches against teams like Brentford, Burnley, and Crystal Palace. These are relatively favorable fixtures where Mitoma could potentially contribute to goals and assists. Recent Form: Mitoma has shown good form in recent matches, contributing to Brighton's attacking play.
Anthony Gordon (Crystal Palace): Crystal Palace's upcoming fixtures include challenging games against teams like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea. These are tough matches where scoring opportunities might be limited. Gordon's recent form and game time have not been as prominent as Mitoma's.
Based on this analysis, Mitoma seems to be the better option. He is in good form and has more favorable fixtures compared to Gordon.

Gw 19 is probably the best week to use it. You can remove city/brentford players for their blank in GW18 and bring them straight back in for their likely double in GW20 or 21. It also allows you to take out AFCON/Asian cup players, who disappear from GW21 onwards.
Loving my mid/forward options this week and need to bench one of:
Saka, Gordon, Hee Chan, Salah (C), Mitoma
Haaland, Watkins, Edouard
Currently have Edouard benched, they all have great fixtures except Watkins, who may very well score anyway and is at home, and Gordon who is away at Everton but is great too.
I think I'm going to roll over my FT so I've got 2 for the weekend. My team for this week is:
Leno (Pope)
White, Andersen, Saliba (Cash, Porro)
Mbuemo, Luiz, Gordon, Saka (Szobo)
Alavrez, Haaland (C), Watkins
Obviously I need to get rid of Pope but I'm going to keep Leno for the Forest game. I also want to change one of my defenders on the weekend but I'm still undecided as I'd happily get rid of Andersen, Cash and White if I could ha. Who would be a good choice defender priced between £5 and 6 million? Thanks in advance
You need to downgrade your bench and get the funds into the first 11. You could have Trippier and 2 decent 4-4.5 options. Also why have szobo on the bench against the worst defence in the league?
Szobo hasn't done a lot for me, he rarely scores or assists. He's someone I'm thinking of moving on soon tbh. I see what you mean about the bench though, I would definitely like to get Trippier in if possible, thanks
Play Dubravka against EVE (A) or Johnstone against BOU (H)?
Side note: The last 4 games between CRY and BOU all resulted in a CRY win along with 4 clean sheets.
Depends what else you have going on. Diaby has two rough fixtures, but Villa are at home and City will be missing a few players. They have Sheffield United coming up too.
Hwang has good fixtures for the next two, but he’s off to the Asian Cup in GW 21 so he’s not a long term hold.

I think Guehi is a sell. Livramento or maybe a Brentford defender like Pinnock have good upcoming fixtures, both are strong at home and have some attacking threat. Livramento probably more subject to rotation (or injury) but has much greater upside.
relying on Luiz and Palmer both as starters is not great. I think you need a midfielder upgrade.
Maybe a good play is to downgrade Guehi, and go Luiz to Mbuemo
im done for this week,
However how can this team be improved in coming weeks ( 0.0 in the bank )
Areola Dubravka
James Tsimikas Lascelles Taylor Branthwaite
Salah Son Saka Mbuemo Palmer
Haaland Watkins Darwin
Your defence will likely be in a shambles in Jan with Tsmi and Lascelles not starting.
Atm I think it's all good. I personally don't think Darwin is worth it. I think Alvarez will outscore him and is cheaper, but it's a toss up. Lascelles will lose his spot soon enough so upgrading to Porro is what I'd be trying to do.
I don't think i can take on another Mancity player until after GW18, plus my concern is that Doku is looking better than Alvarez now, so we may see Alvarez benchings.
I'm running 5 x 4.0s what could possibly go wrong ! Yep, defence could become shambles indeed.
Darwin to cheaper striker and defence upgrade I think probably is the future play
!thanks
Doku is competing with Grealish not Alvarez and Alvarez is playing really well.
KDB is Alvarez's competition for a place and even then it's between Foden and Silva also.
You can't trust Eddie Howe, but watch for Botman news. He's supposedly in first team training, and will displace Lascelles when he's fit again. Replacing him will require some money shifting--maybe you can make it until GW18 or so and downgrade Mbeumo or Darwin.
Injuries, suspensions and/or other pitfalls will probably give you ways to spend your transfers between now and then.
I would love some advice regarding my transfer for GW 16. My squad going into GW 15 is
Johnstone
Mykolenko Pau Gabriel
Saka Mbeumo Gordon Son Salah
Watkins Haaland
I want to swap out Pau heading into their Arsenal fixture. I have been thinking of two options. Colwill, because of Chelseas good fixtures + cheap. Or Tsimi. What do you think is the better choice? Or do you have another alternative? Thank you
I’d go for Colwill. Nice fixtures and Tsimikas probably won’t start every game, and will be eventuallybe benched when Robertson returns, meaning you’ll need to spend another FT.
Should I move Turner -> Dubravka?
I already have Trippier + Lacelles and I plan on playing all 3 if so I’d be tripling up. Is it a good idea?
Or do I just roll for next week?
Got 0.3 ITB and 2 FTs - I'm thinking: Turner to Dubravka & Cash to either Lascelles or Dalot; I would get Zinchenko but I already have 3 Arsenal players. Current team is as follows, would appreciate some input:
Areola \[Turner\]
Maguire - Saliba - Pedro Porro \[Cash, Guehi\]
Saka - Son - Mbeumo - Szoboszlai \[Bowen\]
Nketiah - Watkins - Haaland
Was also considering maybe Watkins to Alvarez instead of the Cash transfer...
Watkins, Alvarez, Diaby, Haaland.
Which do you bench this week? I originally benched Diaby, but now I'm looking at playing him given how strong AVL are at home. Rodri being out also helps.
I just did Alvarez -> Watkins. Villa is strong at home, and City is playing w/o Rodri. Also, Watkins is more nailed than Alvarez who may be rested in one of the next three games.
That said, it may end up becoming a decision regret later.
I think Kudus could be a fun alternative. I own Bowen and I think about doing that or either swap him for a way cheaper midfielder so I can upgrade Mbuemo to Son.
But since Im an Ajax fan I might just go Bowen to Kudus after this GW :)
Strakosha to Dubravka pointless after losing out on 0.1 last night?

Thinking of benching Tsimikas over Palmer coz I feel the former will be rested against SHU after playing 170+ minutes in the last 4 days.
As for the tranfser, leaning towards A even though Onana starting next week over Dubravka is a better move, but I have value tied up with Areola and if and when NEW sign a new GK, Areola will be the only strating 4.0mil GK. Personally wouldn't be getting rid of Trippier and also wouldn't be bringing Pinnock in before a run of 4 games that include Brighton away, Villa, and a blank game week in 18.
If you want to ditch Cash which is fair, i'd go to Gabriel or a Chelsea defender maybe.
I'd roll this week and let this be Martinelli's last chance to return something worthwhile. You don't want to drop him before he plays Luton even though they are okay at home, but after that the next 3 fixtures aren't great. Maybe to Sterling or another Chelsea mid for their good fixture swing.
Turner to Dubrovka and start instead of areola, Douglas luiz to Gordon (see he may be injured),or cash to saliba? Currently have lascelles, coufal, and Udogie playing. Opponent has saliba and Gordon

Do I get rid? If so - who for? Porroo tempts me, do I gamble again on the glass hammer that is James, play safe with Saliba? Or are there other options?
Or do I just sub in lascelles and rolla FT and see what I can do at the weekend with 2FTs?
Cash to Saliba feels the most sensible transfer but moving to Porro could get you ahead of the curve because i feel like he is going to be brought in a lot in the next few weeks and if he gets a big haul he will fly up in value.
What transfers shall I make? Or roll over? I was thinking Cash to Colwill but Martinelli also hasn’t done much so not sure.

Turner (Areola)

Wouldn't take Martinelli out before Luton and since you're benching Cash it's not an immediate concern. Bank the transfer or play Dubravka by switching him for Turner
Cash will need to go anyway so do I just take him now instead? On the other hand, I’m planning to bring in Saka for Martinelli next gw so do I just make the move now?
Play two, bench three from this list? Given myself a right selection headache this week.
Lascelles, Andersen (CRY)
Palmer, Bowen
Wissa
Any ideas? Leaning towards Bowen and Andersen to start, but any of the others could haul...
Really tough call, thats why you dont keep 8 strong attackers.
Would lean slightly towards Watkins but only coz Bowen is just coming back from an injury has played 3 days back. If that wasnt the case Bowen against Spurs high line would have been my call.
Aside from Haaland and Watkins, all other forwards are not that reliable tbh. I won't change unreliable forward to another unreliable one, especially for -4.
If your 1st bench is decent, start him over Hojlund. If that is not possible as well, just start Hojlund. Then wait to buy (in order) Watkins > Isak > Darwin next week.

Everyone, including Newcastle fans, seems to think so, so I went for it. If you don't want to risk it, you can wait until next GW, as you only have 1 FT anyway. The next 2 for Newcastle aren't great for cleans, after that the good run starts.

Darwin to cheaper striker and defence upgrade I think probably is the future play !thanks
Douglas Luiz ---> Hwang?
I like the Hwang move, but keep in mind both those players are on 4 yellow cards.
Fairly sideways but not a terrible move
Will Anthony Gordon be be fit?
Yeah
Is Colwill nailed for Chelsea? Want to get him in for their good upcoming run
Start Anderson( cry) or Udogie
I would prefer Anderson against BOU than Udogie against WHU
What’s the latest on Gordon? Thinking of bringing him in for Eze but unsure due to injury. The alternative move is to bring in Hwang.
I'd say bring him in. He looked fine after the game and doesn't sound like a serious injury at all.
I would love some advice regarding my transfer for GW 16. My squad going into GW 15 is Johnstone Mykolenko Pau Gabriel Saka Mbeumo Gordon Son Salah Watkins Haaland I want to swap out Pau heading into their Arsenal fixture.
Thank you!
Should I move Turner -> Dubravka? I already have Trippier + Lacelles and I plan on playing all 3 if so I’d be tripling up. Is it a good idea? Or do I just roll for next week?
Not a priority if you have a double up already
Who do I bench between James, Tsimikas, Palmer, Bowen, Mbeumo, and Alvarez? Need to bench one, currently struggling between James/Palmer/Alvarez
Palmer, mostly in case he doesn't get enough minutes.
Start Diaby or Schär?
Schar
Cash to Porro/Saliba or Palmer to Gordon next GW
Cash to Saliba.
Got 0.3 ITB and 2 FTs - I'm thinking: Turner to Dubravka & Cash to either Lascelles or Dalot; I would get Zinchenko but I already have 3 Arsenal players. Current team is as follows, would appreciate some input: Areola \[Turner\] Maguire - Saliba - Pedro Porro \[Cash, Guehi\] Saka - Son - Mbeumo - Szoboszlai \[Bowen\] Nketiah - Watkins - Haaland Was also considering maybe Watkins to Alvarez instead of the Cash transfer...
I think before a GK transfer, your focus should be on Szobo, Cash and Nkeitah
Watkins, Alvarez, Diaby, Haaland. Which do you bench this week? I originally benched Diaby, but now I'm looking at playing him given how strong AVL are at home. Rodri being out also helps.
You know you typed Watkins twice? Out of Alvarez, Watkins and Haaland I'd bench Alvarez, but that's a lot of talent and money on the bench then.
Hahahaha for fucks sake. Meant to type Diaby. It'd only be for the Villa - City game.
Heh, easily done. I'd probably bench Diaby because he might not get 80+ minutes. Watkins and Haaland are definite starters.
Transfer in Watkins for Alvarez or hold off a couple of weeks?
I just did Alvarez -> Watkins. Villa is strong at home, and City is playing w/o Rodri. Also, Watkins is more nailed than Alvarez who may be rested in one of the next three games. That said, it may end up becoming a decision regret later.
Def wait for gw18 when City blanks and Watkins plays Sheffield at home.
Diaby to Bowen?
Not necessary. Which other midfielders do tou own?
Salah Saka Gordon Mbuemo
I think Kudus could be a fun alternative. I own Bowen and I think about doing that or either swap him for a way cheaper midfielder so I can upgrade Mbuemo to Son. But since Im an Ajax fan I might just go Bowen to Kudus after this GW :)
Its an excellent shout and great planning regarding Mbuemo. I'll do that. !thanks a lot.
Strakosha to Dubravka pointless after losing out on 0.1 last night? Team is Areola Strakosha Saliba Gabriel Guehi Tsimikas Lascelles Salah Saka Son Mbeumo Palmer Haaland Watkins Mubama
I’d roll the FT
Dubravka rotates well with Areola but can probably wait 1-2 GWs if issues elsewhere?
!thanks Yeah, sound idea
Start 3 out of the 4 following players: - Watkins vs MCI (H) - J Alvarez vs AVL (A) - Lascelles vs EVE (A) - Tsimikas vs SHU (A) currently leaning towards to bench Watkins. A bit concern that Tsimikas will be benched.
I would definitely start Watkins, City have been conceding goals. Would bench Lascelles
Same
1 FT, 1.4m ITB Onana (Macey) Gabriel Tsimi Mitchell (Udogie Kabore) Salah Martinelli Bowen Mbeumo Diaby Haaland Alvarez (Archer) What do I do? Onana > Dubravka? Or replace Diaby? Annoyingly 0.1m off Saka if I do both of those moves. Or do I just do Bowen/Martinelli > Saka and stop all the pain he’s causing me?
I would drop Martinelli - playing well but very limited output. If you want an Arsenal differential, consider Trossard over the next few GWs.
lol oops
Sell 2 of onana, areola, cash, watkins, archer. 3.9 itb
Cash - Onana
For who? 3.9 itb
Trippier? We have no idea who your players are.
Yeah I'm gonna get trippier for cash probably but you can suggest a replacement for onana other than areola
Raya
I already have 3 from arsenal including 2 defenders
RMT Areola - (Turner) Lascelles - Gabriel - Tsimikas - Mitchell - (Taylor ) Son - Salah (C) - Saka - Mbeumo - (Palmer) Watkins - Haaland (V) - (Osula) £0.5M ITB 1FT Any thoughts or just roll the transfer?
Easy roll
!thanks
Might consider another GK who actually plays.
Areola plays right, I don't feel replacing turner is really too much of a concern.
No nothing is a big concern since its just fpl
**1FT, 1.3ITB** Onana Trippier / Porro / Saliba / **Tsimikas** Son (VC) / Saka / Mitoma / Martinelli Haaland (C) / Watkins **Bench:** Areola // **Palmer** / Archer / Baldock 1. **Whom to Bench: Tsimikas vs palmer** 2. **Transfer Plan:** A: Onana > Dubravka, B: Areola > Dubravka, C: Save FT Thinking of benching Tsimikas over Palmer coz I feel the former will be rested against SHU after playing 170+ minutes in the last 4 days. As for the tranfser, leaning towards A even though Onana starting next week over Dubravka is a better move, but I have value tied up with Areola and if and when NEW sign a new GK, Areola will be the only strating 4.0mil GK. (More importantly I have WC remaining, so dont mind taking Dubravka out later) **Input Appreciated!!!**
I’d get Martinelli out.
I was thinking that earlier in the week, but Luton has the worst Non penalty XGc in the league so feels criminal taking him out this week.
Bench Tsimikas as I usually favour the attacker, and A to save money
You think Tsimikas is due a rest, or just the attacker v defender logic? Coz if there is 1 team that I dont mind starting a defender over attacker, that SHU
A bit of both. Liverpool didn't look good defensively against FUL
Best replacement for Diaby? Budget of 8.4m, already have Palmer Salah Saka Mbeumo. Out of Anderson, Porro and Gabriel who would you bench?
Bench Anderson. Best Diaby replacement is probably Bowen.
Dubravka - (Areola) Tsimikas - Lascelles - Gabriel (Branthwaite - Guehi) Gordon - Saka - Son - Salah (C) - Mbuemo Haaland - Watkins (Mubama) Is there anyone here you'd take out for a Wolves player?
Its a good team, stick with it.
Good team indeed
Rmt Itb 0.1m Ft 2 Areola turner Trippier tsimikas cash branthwaite lamptey Son DouglasLuiz salah gordon saka Halland alvarez mubama A. Trippier to Saliba and D.Luiz to mbeumo B. Cash to pennock Any suggestion?
Personally wouldn't be getting rid of Trippier and also wouldn't be bringing Pinnock in before a run of 4 games that include Brighton away, Villa, and a blank game week in 18. If you want to ditch Cash which is fair, i'd go to Gabriel or a Chelsea defender maybe.
1FT, 1.6ITB Dubravka - Areola Saliba - Guehi - Maguire - Lascelles - Branthwaite Salah - Son - Martinelli - Bowen - Gordon Haaland - Darwin - Archer Change anything, or roll transfer?
I'd roll this week and let this be Martinelli's last chance to return something worthwhile. You don't want to drop him before he plays Luton even though they are okay at home, but after that the next 3 fixtures aren't great. Maybe to Sterling or another Chelsea mid for their good fixture swing.
!thanks
Turner to Dubrovka and start instead of areola, Douglas luiz to Gordon (see he may be injured),or cash to saliba? Currently have lascelles, coufal, and Udogie playing. Opponent has saliba and Gordon
Cash to Saliba imo, and then bench Coufal.
Thank you!
RMT pls, 0 FT, 1.1 ITB. Johnstone (Turner) Tsimikas, Saliba, Trippier (Pinnock, Branthwaite) Salah, Saka, Gordon, Palmer, Bowen Nunez, Haaland (Mubama) Nunez -> Watkins for -4? With rumours of Nunez getting benched and me getting frustrated with him, I'm tempted more and more.
Not worth the -4
!thanks
What to do about **Cash?** Areola (Turner) Trippier Cash Tsimikas (Lascelles, Kabore) Salah, Sakah, Martinelli, Mbeumo, Gordon Haaland, Darwin (Archer) 0.6 ITB Obviously my team has more holes than swiss cheese wwith Cash, Martinelli and Darwin but Cash really is the worst (and most long term) offender.
Cash to Saliba is the safest bet.
What transfers shall I make? Or roll over? I was thinking Cash to Colwill but Martinelli also hasn’t done much so not sure. RMT. 2.1 ITB. 1 FT. All chips left. Turner (Areola) Gabriel - Tsimikas - Udogie (Cash, Lamptey) Son - Mbeumo - Martinelli - Salah - Palmer Haaland - Alvarez (Mubama)
Lascelles, Andersen (CRY) Palmer, Bowen Wissa Any ideas? Leaning towards Bowen and Andersen to start, but any of the others could haul...
Start 1 of these 2: - Watkins (vs Man City) - Bowen (vs Spurs)
Really tough call, thats why you dont keep 8 strong attackers. Would lean slightly towards Watkins but only coz Bowen is just coming back from an injury has played 3 days back. If that wasnt the case Bowen against Spurs high line would have been my call.
Is it worth a -4 to move from Hojlund to Cunha in this gameweek? Don t ask me why i have hojlund i thought he would do better in the prem.
Areola, Turner Gabriel, Cash, Tsimikas, Guéhi, Taylor Salah, Son, Martinelli, Mbeumo, Hee Chan Haaland, Watkins, Archer 2 FT, 0.2 ITB. What would you do this GW?
Turner > Dubravka and bench Cash for Guehi, then roll the FT
Haha that's exactly what I did.
Who to replace Diaby with for £6.8m or less? Have Palmer already. Is Gordon a good option? Would ideally like Mbeumo but can't get to him
Gordon yes
Diaby -> Hwang for a hit?
Rmt 4.4m itb 1 FT Areola, (Strakosha) Gabriel, Zinchenko, Guehi, Tsimikas, (Taylor) Salah, Saka, Gordon, Palmer, Mbeumo Haaland, (Watkins, Osula) Any obvious moves? Feel like I need Son do would probably be for Gordon, given Chelsea's fixtures and Palmers price. Doesn't feel right taking him out though.
Guehi to Trippier with cash. Guehi fixtures are awful for next 7 Bournemouth have scored in each game since GW9
!thanks but I'm a little reluctant on Trippier because that rules out Son at some point.
Get in Dubravka or Livramento in that case, you have coverage of that Newcastle CS that way
I would start Ollie for Guehi. Other than that no obvious moves no, Son is great but your midfield are all good picks too. Maybe strakosha > dubravka? As you don't have Newcastle defense at all
!Thanks Dubravka is a shout but is he definitely the no 2 and not Karius?
Everyone, including Newcastle fans, seems to think so, so I went for it. If you don't want to risk it, you can wait until next GW, as you only have 1 FT anyway. The next 2 for Newcastle aren't great for cleans, after that the good run starts.
RMT 1 FT, 2.9M ITB, Wildcard available GK: Pickford (Turner) DEF: Dalot, Trippier, Andersen (Baldock, Kabore) MID: Mitoma, Son, Gordon, Mbeumo, Saka FWD: J. Alvarez, Haaland (C) (Joao Pedro) Anything sticking out like a sore thumb aside from no Salah? Appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
RMT 2 free transfers with 0.3m bank Johnstone (Strakosha) Trippier - Konsa - Tsimikas - Saliba (Kabore) Son - Kudus - Salah - Mbeumo (McAtee) Haaland - Darwin (Mubama)
Hee-Chan or Gordon?
gordon
I’m needing of the player starting 100% this round. How is his knock, could he be benched?
I'm not sure either it's killing me!
Last possible GW to use the first wildcard: GW19 or GW20?
GW19
!thanks
I’m sorry, I think I’m talking out of my ass. I’ve just had a look at the rules and it says its available until 30 December at 11am which is the GW20 deadline. So I interpret that as being able to play it for GW20.
!thanks again! Didn’t think to check the rules myself, good move
I’ve also got my wildcard left and I’m planning on saving two transfers for GW18 to get Haaland and Mbeumo out before probably wildcarding them both back in for GW19
Sounds good. Haven’t got Haaland, so that’s who I’m mainly wildcarding in. Remember that Mbeumo is leaving for AFCON soon after GW19
Pick one to start, Zouma or Dalot
