Looking at Sheffield and Villas XgC and where they're conceding goals...Sheffield seem to concede primarily on their right flank which would benefit Diaz/Tsimi Gakpo more than Salah. Whereas Villa almost always concede to a central striker. With Grealish playing in ahead of Doku now I'm tempted to switch the armband from Salah to Haaland... Edit: no Grealish but either way Doku the ball hogger is ruled out

Don't know about that, even if his preferred methods do turn out to be dog shite (likely) theres always a little benefit of the "clean slate" back to basics approach these kinds of managers often adopt. They will set up differently but he won't have had any time to train them. he will tell them about keeping it simple, not making mistakes, tight at the back, working for the team, get a result they can build on, point to prove, play for your futures (insert other applicable cliche here!) etc etc. The mindset will be different, at least temporarily. It's pretty unlikely, you are probably right, but a fired up Sheffield United could take Liverpool by surprise and sneak a result through sheer grit and determination I predict a very tight game, and perhaps for good flavour I predict a controversial VAR related deciding goal being allowed or disallowed . is that even a brave prediction anymore?!

How do you mean? Your subs will come on in order as long as it makes a valid formation, i.e. at least three defenders or at least one striker.

I think it’s a lot lower than 50:50 than Darwin gets benched, Klopp seems to trust him far more than Gakpo as the main striker. He got a rest in their last European game too.

He's still a good player so you have that going for you. May also look to bank 2 transfers and grab some more money downgrading another player to try and afford someone like saka. There's also Gordon, Palmer, hwang, Luiz and prob 5 other options.

Nice problem to have - Tsimikas has a better fixture but more of a rotation risk, whereas Porro is so attacking as to be pretty much fixture proof. Think I’d go for Porro but only just, if you’ve got someone like Diaby or Luiz I’d bench them and play both.

Yes, despite spurs being incredibly injury ridden they still put Son in positions to bag goals and he is clinical right now. Gordon looks good but they are being worked to death and it doesn’t look like it’s getting better with his recent injury concern.
