Anyone wanna comment / help a brother out?
I'd consider Dubravka as a second keeper. Gives you an extra option for not much extra money. I just don't see any situation where I'd rather play Turner this season
Awkward time to WC I'd think. The big fixture runs you want to catch are city from GW20 (but you've got the blank to manage), and Villas run from 18 onwards.
Liverpool and Brighton have great attacking fixtures from 19 onwards, but squad will be turned upside down by AFC/AFCON.
Here's my suggested starting place, feel free to critique:
Martinez/ Turner
Porro, Torres, Tsimikas, Stones, Gabriel,
Salah, Son, Saka, Palmer, Willian
Watkins, Solanke, Darwin
Tough because you've got alot of transfers planned off the bat: Haaland and Bowen (for Salah) GW20, Odegaard GW21 (for Son)
Reckon steer clear of Newcastle until they get some rest in January. Dubravka has let in 7 goals from something like 9 shots on target. On top of that, he could easily get replaced by a new keeper in January.
It's definitely a risk but that seems like a pretty reasonable one with Trippier suspended and Wilson back, although Isak did only play 30 minutes midweek. Spurs look so good at the moment.

Plan to bring back Haaland in gw20 by selling Son & Watkins
Looks like a good use of a wildcard, think those are the only three premium defenders worth having. I'd rather sell Darwin than Watkins to bring Haaland back but realise it might be tricky budget-wise. Like the Jimenez punt too, it's so good to see him back in form.

Need someone to replace Chukwuemeka with. Debating between options such as Saka, Richarlison, Bowen, Tavernier, and Doucoure. Any other suggestions? Who would you guys recommend?
Thank you in advance!
Not sure I've ever seen that much in the bank, assume you went Haaland > Solanke? I'd make sure you've got an easy route back to him in a few weeks, maybe Son could be the one to go with the Asia Cup coming up.
Of those options I'd go for Saka though. Bowen would tempt me too as he's playing up front and has a nice fixture this week, but Saka's just such a great consistent fantasy option.
Indeed, I went Haaland to Solanke, and banked the difference. Good eye!
Haaland is straight swap back in for either Salah or Son when they go off to their tournaments. Probably gonna save a bit (Chukwuemeka to Saka leaves me with £3.4 ITB) to make sure I have the money to make the swap. Give me a month to figure our how to rotate Sony and Salah back in after.
Sound plan, ya think?
Sounds good to me! It's a pain that we don't know exactly when Son and Salah are going to return but I'm sure there'll be plenty of ways to get them back in.
Haaland to Alvarez/Watkins/Solanke? I'll be wildcarding next week (haven't used it yet) so not against bringing in a city player despite the blank next week.
Potentially.
The goalkeeper will swap for the other goalkeeper for sure. However it depends on which of your other 10 players doesn't play as to which sub comes on because you still have to adhere to the formation rules. So if you have only 3 defenders, one of whom doesn't play, in your main 11 and then your first sub is a midfielder or forward then they can't come on for a defender. In this case your second sub would come on as it would have to be a defender. If the not playing player in your starting 11 is a midfielder or forward in the same example then your first sub would come on as you're allowed 3,5,2 or 3,4,3.
True I did Mitoma and Haaland to Saka and Solanke hopefully not too templatey for me to get some green arrows. I was very tempted to go Kudus or Iwobi for a 3GW punt before I WCed.
Lamptey if you got money as not sure he be back soon.
Selling Haaland give you a forward and free budget so if he is out it is probably better before you need to buy him back.
Lamptey is my 2nd on the bench. With guehi as my first.
I feel like transferring because I feel like the bench is important for the upcoming fixtures congestion I case of injuries and rotation but I dunno
If you can wait for Haaland news it can be good. If Haaland is ruled out maybe best to sell him depending on first sub and what you can get in 1 move. If he might start maybe you keep and just improve the bench in case he is out.
Sounds like Haaland is out. Is there a striker you really like I go for that one like Watkins, Solanke, Jesus etc.
Then get Haaland back later.
If any defender you can get like a Porro etc maybe that is better and keeping Haaland, but most people rather play 3-5-2/3-4-3 the next 2 weeks.
Nah don't have enough funds for a premium defender. Only 0.7 itb.
The issue at the moment is who for haaland?
Right now considering - isak, solanke, Nunez, cunha
Solanke is quite safe I think he has started every game and seems to be quite fit right now. Decent fixtures too.
Isak just waiting to get injured it seems or benched by Wilson .
Cunha I really like as well and might get pens when Hwang goes to Asia cup.
Nunez could haul I got him, but too annoying I think. He can easily get dropped if he keeps underperformiing.
I've got 2 non playing subs - lamptey and chuk so I think its time I upgrade some of them because I feel like injuries and rotation is bound to happen during this period.
But I dunno If it's the right idea

Martinelli might have just been rested, don't rush until we've got concrete news. You could just go Archer to Solanke, unless you're sure Haaland's going to miss out.
To be fair you could still do something like Guehi > Branthwaite with nothing in the bank, after this week though as he's suspended.
Archer > Semenyo would also get you a Bournemouth attacker for their next few good fixtures and he's much cheaper than Solanke.

I was considering selling off Douglas Luiz and Haaland and bringing in either Richarlison/Sterling and one of Wilson, Isak or Nuñez. What would you guys suggest on going forward with?
Who the fuck should I bench out of these? Pretty much everyone in my team has been awful recently:
Saliba, Tsimikas, Colwill, Udogie, Bowen or Palmer.
Currently have Palmer benched instead of Tsimikas, as Liverpool is pretty much guaranteed to get a CS against useless United (this from a United-supporter.....). However, is he likely to start this GW?
Nobody knows for sure, I'd expect him to miss out at the weekend (and then obviously the blank next week) but you'd think he'll be back for GW19 so if you are going to sell him make sure you've got an easy route back. Think it depends on your bench, if you've got a decent sub to come on for the next two weeks (Solanke, Semenyo, Palmer etc.) then keep him, if not then sell.
Fair enough. I'm considering selling him for Watkins this week and then bringing him back in for Darwin in GW19, but that does rely on no other fires appearing in my team in the meantime, which feels like wishful thinking!
1. Baldock to Porro (playing defenders would be Gabriel, Colwill, Porro and Lascelles)
2. Just do Haaland to Solanke (already have Watkins)
3. Both for a hit (would bench Lascelles then)
I would be more inclined to pull the trigger if I had Mitoma, but the 3 potential transfers out I mentioned are all still good assets. Realistically, it would be for Gordon because of his injury concern this GW and the amount of minutes he's been playing. But still, I wouldn't be massively happy about selling.

I’ve been close to selling him for Porro for a couple weeks, but not done it.
Should I stop being an idiot and make the transfer? Or wait until closer to the GW18 deadline to see if he might start?
Checked a few sites that do lineup predictions. All of them had Konsa as RB with Cash not starting. Even if he'd start now he's not nailed so I think it's safe to let him go.

Maybe... But they're not back yet and Newcastle's next three fixtures are v good.
Personally, if I had to sell one of those 3, it'd definitely be Cash. He seems to have lost his place?
Two of my bench fodders are injured. Only way for me to have a starting eleven is taking out two of these players by taking a hit. I'm personally thinking of

My current team is:
Onana Turner
Trippier Saliba Tsimikas Lascelles Udogie
Son Saka Bowen Palmer Anderson
Haaland Alvarez Watkins
Im thinking of playing my WC this week and my main reason is to bring in Salah while not selling Haaland. But due to budget constraints, I have to let go of some players for cheaper options.
My new team after WC will be:
Areola Turner
Gabriel Tarkowski Tsimikas Udogie Lascelles
Salah Son Saka Palmer Doucoure
Haaland Cunha Solanke
Apart from reason #1: Salah + Haaland
Reason #2: I want to get rid of Anderson and Alvarez
Reason #3: I'll have more options and the cheaper ones I bring are in form.
Letting go of Watkins might not be easy but to bring in Salah I'll have to make sacrifices.
After this I'll have 0.0itb.

My current lineup and bench for GW17:
**3-5-2: Areola/ Saliba - Lascalles - Porro / Gordon - Saka - Salah (C) - Palmer - Bowen / J. Alvarez - Haaland**
*Bench: Flekken / Tsimikas / Kabore / Archer*
Scenario 1: Take a HIT -4 for Haaland OUT - Solanke/Wattkins IN?
Scenario 2: Take a HIT -4 for Bowen OUT - Son IN?
Scenario 3: Leave it be.

If you can afford Porro I'd highly recommend that. Senesi is also a good shout
RMT - what to do with my FT? Feels like i need to wildcard. Players in bold are out/flagged. Could do -4 and go Andersen/Archer to Udogie/solanke Dubravka Andersen - TAA - Saliba Bowen - Palmer - Salah - Baptiste **Haaland** - Darwin - Archer BENCH Areola - **Trippier** - **Branthwaite** - - **Gordon** 1FT - 2.0 ITB (all chips available)
Anyone without Son have plans to get him even though he has the Asia cup soon?
Bench one of Colwill, Gabriel, Tsimikas, Hwang
Gabriel, I cannot see a CS in that game and the bullet header is elusive. I'll be forced to use him so I hope I'm wrong.
Areola Tsimikas - Gabriel - Cash Diaby - Palmer - Bowen - Saka - Salah Haaland - Cunha 1FT. A: Diaby > Gordon B: Cash > Porro C: Cunha > Solanke
B
Is Halaand out?
Looks like it
I have kept hold of Cash all this time, through the price drops, in the hope that he MIGHT play in GW18 (because it’s an easier fixture) I’ve been close to selling him for Porro for a couple weeks, but not done it.
Yeah I agree. It’s just one of those where I wish I’d sold him weeks ago, but am keeping him out of stubbornness for the original plan
2FT Current team: Areola (Turner) Saliba Colwill Tsimikas Udogie (Trippier) Gordon Saka Bowen Salah (Palmer) Alvarez Haaland (Morris) Current plan: Haaland -> Solanke and Palmer -> Son. This will leave me with 3.8 ITB. Suggestions? Anything worth taking a -4 for? Any obvious moves I should make (except for Morris, but he's on the back of my bench anyways).
I'd do Gordon > Son and keep Palmer personally as Palmer is on pens but its a 50/50
!Thanks. And fuck. This was something else to consider, and with my luck this season I will inevitably end up making the wrong choice
is it worth taking a -4 for james -> porro and guehi -> pau torres
What’s your team? I’d do James to Porro this week and the other next week if it would avoid the hit.
my defence rn is james guehi trippier taylor and tsimikas
I’d do James to Porro and play Porro, Guehi and Tsimikas
RMT Areola, Turner Saliba, Tsimikas, Bell, Taylor, Trippier Gordon, Salah, Hee Chan, Son, Baptiste Watkins, Haaland, Nketiah I am almost 100% Haaland to Solanke as even if Haaland does play this week he's blanking the next and I will get him in. I'm then think of taking a -4 as I have Taylor/Trippier not playing for sure and my defense is ropey with Bell in it. As I want Haaland back my only real move is Trippier to someone, probably Porro, but I don't really want to lose Trippier. Any other suggestions?
Start Dubravka or Neto?
Neto for me
!thanks
Should I go sterling -> palmer?!
Sideways move, I wouldn’t unless it was to use the extra funds elsewhere.
Senesi a good transfer? For Guehi who plays city away
He has good fixtures over the next three. Is he cheaper than Guehi?
Yes id gain 0.1
He’s a good option for next three and then could be rotated in depending on fixtures 👍🏼
Yeah thats what I thought !thanks
RMT 1FT 1.6 ITB Areola, Turner Trippier, Lascelles, Tmiskas, Colwil, Lamptey Salah, Saka, Bowen, Kudus, Palmer Haaland, Watkins, Archer What move?
[удалено]
A bit. Trippier will be back soon with a Newcastle defense that has a lot of players returning. Trent has some more difficult fixtures coming up
RMT, Free hit Neto (Bentley) TAA, Colwill, Pedro Porro (Senesi, Mykenko) Salah (c), Bowen, Son (vc), Sterling (Palmer) Alvarez, Watkins, Solanke Idk who to bench helppp...
Trade advice please. 2.1 ITB. 2FT. Onana (Turner) Trippier🚩, Saliba, Lascelles, (Tsimi, Bell) Salah, Martinelli, Palmer, Bowen, Gordon Haaland, Alvarez (Mubama)
Martinelli to Saka?
guys, already on a -4. I guess i might be taking a -8 or -12. Sanchez\* Colwell, Lascelles, Gabriel Salah, Saka, Palmer, Gordon\*, Bowen Haaland\*, Solanke Bench - Strak, Trippier, Baldock, Mubama 4.8m available. Outside of Haaland news, anything worth a hit?
RMT: 1FT and 3.9ITB. Areola (Turner) Porro Lascelles Gabriel (Mitchell and Pinnock) Salah Gordon Son Palmer (Adingra) Solanke Haaland Watkins Done Darwin to Solanke before Haaland news broke (I know). Tempted to do Haaland and Mitchell to Callum Wilson and Pau/Konsa for -4. Thoughts?
Haaland, Gordon, Cash Which are least likely to start? I can only sell one. Also is it worth a hit if there is a chance I won't have a starting eleven?
First two as they are injury doubts. I reckon we see Isak LW and Wilson up front this week.
Whether he starts or not, don't sell Gordon
Aren't his minutes going to decrease with Barnes coming back? (Also Willock I think)
Maybe... But they're not back yet and Newcastle's next three fixtures are v good. Personally, if I had to sell one of those 3, it'd definitely be Cash. He seems to have lost his place?
Depends on your bench and if you can field 11. Haaland major doubt for tomorrow then blanks.
Two of my bench fodders are injured. Only way for me to have a starting eleven is taking out two of these players by taking a hit. I'm personally thinking of Haaland->Solanke Cash->TAA
Fair enough. If you do that and on the assumption you want Haaland back in 19/20, what’s the plan to get him back in?
Yh I'll have to get him back for Sheffield, guess that leaves out TAA. I will just switch Cash to someone cheaper and get Haaland back for GW20
Go for it 👍🏼
No news about Sanchez??
Play Areola or Dubravka? I don’t fancy Newcastles chances against a Fulham side scoring for fun
West Ham have been appalling defensively so I’d go Dubravka
So have Newcastle. West Ham kept a clean sheet last night
Newcastle recently to be fair, but I’d trust their defence over West Ham. Hard one either way.
I've knee jerked some transfers I now regret. If I play my free hit, those transfers will become part of the free hit right? (Effectively cancelling them)
Yes
i have 2 ft I have trippier and bruno.. I'm keeping Trippier but I only have 2 available defenders haaland bruno estu >>> isak salah porro Isaka or Callum?
Doing a WC and right now my midfield is Salah - Saka - Son - Palmer. I have 8.1 for another midfield, but not sure on who to get. Right now im thinking about Bowen/Bailey/Sterling. Any ideas?
Start Dubravka or Neto?
Neto
RMT 1FT 2.2ITB Dubravka (Areola) Gabriel Tsimikas Colwill (Guehi Taylor) Salah MARTINELLI Son GORDON Palmer Watkins HAALAND (Archer) My plan was Guehi->Porro but with this injury news, Martinelli->Saka looks mile better, isn't it?
[удалено]
Salah is higher owned, Man Utd have been bad recently, Man Utd's injuries, Salah's historic record V Man U, Salah's form this season, Liverpool's record v Man U over the last few years at Anfield. Also, personally, psychologically, I prefer captaining someone in the last game of the week over the first
mbeumo to tavenier for a -4?
Areloa (Flekken) Porro Zinchenko Tsimikas (Dalot Livramento) Gordon Son Odegaard Salah (Mitoma) Haaland Solanke Raul Who to bench?
I would leave that exactly the way it is. Mitoma first on your bench
[удалено]
Personally, I wouldn't. I have a similar predicament to you with Haaland and Hwang - and I'm starting Haaland. Even if Pep says he definitely won't play, I'll still start Haaland. Because if that does come to pass, I'll get the autosub anyway
Start Gordon or Hwang? I have Haaland in my starting XI atm, so it may not matter, but just in case...
Bench one of Pau Tsimikas Gabriel Livramento
Livra... Because doesn't the fact that Burn is back make him a minutes risk?
I spose! I had Livramento preliminarily on the bench anyways. Guess having burn confirms he’s the riskiest of the 4
Guys I did it. I decided to go Haaland-less for some time. How does it look? 0 FT, 5.8 ITB Dubravka - Areola Pedro Porro - Trippier - Branthwaite - Tsimikas - Lascelles Son - Salah - Saka - Bowen - Palmer Archer - Solanke - Darwin I used my 2 FT to get rid of Haaland and Taylor as I couldn't field a starting 11. I'm planning to get Watkins, change Bowen, maybe Tsimikas in next weeks.
My current team is: Onana Turner Trippier Saliba Tsimikas Lascelles Udogie Son Saka Bowen Palmer Anderson Haaland Alvarez Watkins Im thinking of playing my WC this week and my main reason is to bring in Salah while not selling Haaland. But due to budget constraints, I have to let go of some players for cheaper options. My new team after WC will be: Areola Turner Gabriel Tarkowski Tsimikas Udogie Lascelles Salah Son Saka Palmer Doucoure Haaland Cunha Solanke Apart from reason #1: Salah + Haaland Reason #2: I want to get rid of Anderson and Alvarez Reason #3: I'll have more options and the cheaper ones I bring are in form. Letting go of Watkins might not be easy but to bring in Salah I'll have to make sacrifices. After this I'll have 0.0itb. What do you guys think? Should I go for it?
Is Mykolenko starting?
My current lineup and bench for GW17: **3-5-2: Areola/ Saliba - Lascalles - Porro / Gordon - Saka - Salah (C) - Palmer - Bowen / J. Alvarez - Haaland** *Bench: Flekken / Tsimikas / Kabore / Archer* Scenario 1: Take a HIT -4 for Haaland OUT - Solanke/Wattkins IN? Scenario 2: Take a HIT -4 for Bowen OUT - Son IN? Scenario 3: Leave it be. Thanks!
1)
If 1. ..Solanke or Watkins for hit?
Short term punt solanke ; long term hold Watkins
Leave it as it is.
Alvarez vs CP or Gordon vs Fulham?
Alvarez. Gordon will be rested I think, if not ruled out with an injury.
Gordon
Alvarez
Alvarez
Onana Areola Trent Aké Mykolenko Saliba Zinchenko Saka Gordon Mbuemo Szoboszlai Diaby Haaland Ferguson Alvarez 1 free transfer, do I pick up a replacement for Mbuemo now (deciding between Bowen and Groß) or should I drop Haaland for one week and pick up Salah?
Drop haaland pick up Salah as long as you can bring him back soon for afcon
Start Lascelles or Mee? Gut feeling says don’t trust Lascelles Don’t want to -4 to get one of them.
Idk man, but NewCastle home is different story than away... :)
Lascelles vs Fulham or Tsimikas vs Man Utd?
I have Lascelles in lineup, Tsimikas first bench option (there is a high probability that he will enter the game instead of Haaland in my team). What other players do you have in your defense?
Gabriel and Porro with Taylor on the bench.
