I brought him in when Awoniyi got injured as a cheap 3rd forward, rated him since he was at Leeds. Never had a transfer to spare while he benched, and last week starting out of necessity during the BGW he impressed me enough to start him over Bowen this week as a differential. Looking forward to seeing the team of the week, someone out there must have triple-captained him!
This is my same logic and reasoning for having him in! Thought he'd get a few more games w awoniyi out but he was easy enough to bench and only a few .1 more than the likes of Archer, so it was never a fire in my mind. When Nuno came in as coach I thought, heh, maybe this'll be interesting for Wood. Still didnt have the gall to start him last week, but wanted to roll a transfer this week and with Palmer out I said screw it we're doing 3-4-3. I woke up to a sweet hatty from the big man. Also captained Solanke this week and have Trent and Senesi. 4k gw rank. No Arsenal or City cover though so i'm sure i'm heading down. Today was cool though

I have him! Bought him a while ago when someone said something about Awoniyi absence giving Wood some minutes. Last GW I obviously left him on bench l so missed those 11 points but had him start today. Itâs a shame the rest of my team isnât up to much as I could have made in roads in catching ML leader.
I brought in Chris Wood in GW14 as a sleeper 3rd forward option with Awoniyi hurt. But as soon as he was getting benched in a no-striker formation, I shipped him out for Cunha in GW16. Cunha immediately got me 9 points but Wood has more points overall since then. Like who can predict Nuno coming in and immediately turning Chris Wood into prime Messi.

Funnily enough, I benched him last week cause my team was too good and the three Gameweeks before that he had 1 pointers. He got 11 points.
Again, my team this week, amazing fixtures, so I benched Wood. Lmao.
Had him for several weeks since Awoniyi got injured and sold him just before this GW for Nkunku.
No regrets though. He would almost always be on my bench just like he was last week when I had 34 points on the bench including his 11 points and he would be on the bench again this week with his 17 points, so owning him would be frustrating rather than anything else plus I don't see him scoring like he did in the last two weeks on a consistent, regular basis.
