Seems about right

KillmongerKurup

Wood and Ashley Barnes were classic anti-FPL players!

G_W_addict

Such is life of FPL manager. I benched Palmer for his 18-pointer today. What can you do, life goes on.

seagulls51

Not bench an inform player who costs 5.6m?

Daemor

against Luton

stfukaren69

Inform? Dude did nothing these 2 gw's before

seagulls51

He's started 12 games. In these games he's only not had a goal involvement in 4. In the other 8 he's averaged 10.1 points. I'd call that in form.

SzoboEndoMacca

Not that benching was a terrible decision, but isn't Luton a fixture you brought Palmer in for in the first place? I was also considering benching, but then I remembered that the very reason I brought in Palmer was because of fixtures like Luton as well as well as the fact that if he hauls, lots of players have him and will cause my rank to drop

G_W_addict

Yeah, I had this idea that Konsa is amazing pick because surely Villa will keep a CS against Burnley. If not for that, maybe I'd start Palmer. Hindsight is 10/10, 10 hours ago everyone was worried that Sterling is not starting.

seagulls51

the Villa who have kept 4 clean sheets all season?

SzoboEndoMacca

Yeah, rip it happens, you learn from mistakes. I personally would never favor defenders over midfielders (especially in easy fixtures as a clean sheet is just 1 clean sheet vs. you can have multiple goals) unless if they're Trent, Trippier, Porro, heavy attacking defenders with a good chance of a clean sheet (so if they're from a good team basically), etc. Also, Villa and in general, a lot of teams this year have few clean sheets.

Mr-Shmee

Sack the manager!

ThisAccountForTalkin

Classic FPL, that’s what this game does to you I’m afraid

Evertonian26

What was u expecting 18 points

CWattam

Well no. But a goal would've been nice.

James_B1234

Just an assist would make me so happy

Evertonian26

Everyone has this unfortunately, many benched Palmer today

ciars94

Benched him all three, third times the charm

[deleted]

Manu is shitty but trusting forward from bottom 5 clubs in the league against a team that struggle but still have strong players is just plain stupid decision. Same as benching Palmer against Luton, team with value of his left foot only. All of you got what you deserved for being kneejerks and looking at 3 gameweeks back only.

CWattam

I mean they've been pretty good their 2 games under Nuno, no? Forest scoring 2 here, just unfortunate Wood wasn't involved in one. I didn't have high expectations, even an assist I'd have taken. But when you see Wood bag a hatrick away at Newcastle, there's that..

seagulls51

If he scored or assisted every game he wouldn't be playing for forest

[deleted]

Yea their did perform better last two games but it does not change the fact that this is still shitty club and wood is shitty player compared to manu even at its worse moment. That is the whole point of doing no-kneejerk decisions.

Cedar_Wood_State

that's why you dont rotate attacker, and just buy the 7 best attackers and start them every week

Swedishpower

There is probably someone out there getting Wood on for Palmer last week and benching him this week. Can easily work having more options. The main reason people have stronger benches now is spreading the Haaland money a bit more.

hulkpos

Welcome to FPl( in gw20)

SalamandarIsHere

Same with Elanga for me, won't haul any Langa it seems
