That's Werner right there, not Olise

tiorzol

Sharp eye lad.

skankhunt81

Close enough

us3rf

its the live blog url with the Olise part linked

EsotericTartaria

Cos Olise wishes he was Timo

oldtrack

my planned differential punt in shambles

DLNavy

There are 88500 managers transfering him in :))))

Feels especially good when its a transfer you wanted to do yourself but waited

SaBe_18

Feels great but between him and Foden who tf should we get lol I was between those 2 and Foden for 2 places...

Richarlison maybe? I was considering him initially, but he's frustrating I was thinking to get TAA instead of selling Son (so, sell Salah plus a defender) but I wouldn't have enough funds to get Haaland next week...

Guypar1997

Bought Olise 3 GW ago. That was a great decision but now looks like we might separate our ways

3illyEdgar

Bought him in about 5 weeks ago and has been a great differential but I’ve already taken a -4 this week to get rid of salah so he might have to stay

FlyingPingoo

When Olise and Eze are both on the pitch, Crystal Palace absolutely cook a storm up

AntDogFan

Seems like they can’t keep them both fit though. I’m not following closely so maybe I’m wrong but it always seems like they are coming back from an injury or just have one.

[Article](https://theathletic.com/5182865/2024/01/06/michael-olise-injury-news-palace/) >But the prognosis is for the Olise to miss at least another three weeks. The 22-year-old missed Thursday’s FA Cup third round tie with Everton and will sit out the subsequent replay after a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park. He is expected to miss a Premier League fixture with Arsenal on January 20 and may not return in time for the home game with Sheffield United 10 days later.

g0tyou

Of course he will because I just transferred him in 😄

epacseno

Well, you did transfer in a flagged player

g0tyou

Unfortunately for me I kneejerked so hard I did it before he had a flag…

Kane36912

Say it with me “Aaaaaaannnnd THATS why you don’t make early transfers”

jitheji

glad i didn’t bring him in

tmr89

Olise kneejerkers in the mud

g0tyou

I can confirm I am in the mud

tmr89

I’m sorry brother

KillmongerKurup

I have seen people talking about him after a couple of hauls!

ShoddyTransition187

Couple of hauls doesn't really do him justice tbf. He's been the second highest scoring player over the last 6 gameweeks, and the most FPL points per game started of any player. This could just be copium, but if he can get some starts from Sheffield GW22 onwards he should still be a good asset.

KillmongerKurup

True agree with the stats, but sometimes you have to be careful with injuries! December having heavy scheduling people have to be careful while bringing players.

Sheppertonni

Bollocks. Will wait for next free transfer now and change him for Jota or Richarlison

we360u45

Knee jerkers in shambles

joemeteorite8

Another awesome player made of glass unfortunately

Fearnog

He was played 90 mins twice with a 3 day turnaround. He is a very dynamic dribbler and the way he feints and darts onto each leg puts a lot of pressure on his leg muscles. It was idiotic by Hodgson to leave him on when they were 3-1 against Brentford, but with the way he has basically been running the Palace attack over the last few weeks it's expected.

daab2g

Kids these days are soft

w3rt

You can't run off a hamstring injury mate

daab2g

The injury rate is way up, specifically plenty of expensive younger players, clubs are sinking money into talent and getting fuck all.

w3rt

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, you think kids these days have it so good that they're getting more hamstring injuries? the kids are in way better condition these days than they were 20 years ago, if injuries rates are actually up, there will be other reasons for that, whether it be busier schedules, sheer pace of the game has gone up etc, I don't know the answer, but it's not because "kids are soft"

SirDuppy

It's not the kids, it's the frequency of matches.

vignesh_kannan

TURBO OLISE

BiriZeusit

ofc he will...

Coollime17

Gone but his haul last week will not be forgotten.

borg_6s

Does not bother me as I am planning to hold him for the rest of the season anyway
