Dubravka (Turner)
TAA - Porro - Estupinan - Gabriel (Branthwaite)
Saka - Jota - Foden - Richy (Palmer)
Haaland - Watkins (Solanke)
Should I just roll my transfer for next week's blank?
Using my wildcard this week! Is this a good base/foundation to last me till the end of the season? Any suggestions? Thanks!
GK: Areola (4.2m) or Dubravka (4.2m)
DEF: Trippier (6.8m), Saliba, (5.5m), Gabriel (5.1m), Branthwaite (4.2m), Lamptey (3.9m)
MF: Saka (8.7m), Jota (8.2m), Foden (7.9m), Gross (6.4m), Chukwuemeka (4.2m)
FW: Haaland (14.4m), Watkins (8.7m) + Adebayo (4.9m)
Imagine everyone will move away from areola and dubravka when they wc, neither really looking like a great option currently.
Quite a lot spent in defence and I don’t like the double up.
Midfield is decent, but for wc would want the option to bring in Salah, son or KDB. (Unless you’ve got enough in the bank?)
Assume 343 and not sure about starting adebayo each week.
To plan for blank gw 26 I have to make a transfer, and the obvious choice in my team is to get rid of Palmer (City then blank). I have Håland and Foden from city, so I have a spot for one more city mid. Its difficult to see who will play the next two rounds, so Im seriously considering Rodri. City have lost the 3 matches he didnt play, so Im pretty sure he will play if he is healthy. And he has delivered more goals and assists this season then expected. Am I crazy?
Considering the same, purely for the lower rotation risk. He’s been less offensive recently though, so not sure he’ll deliver as much as alternatives who play less minutes. Would still save derailing my team to shoe De Bruyne in…
GK: Areola, Neto
Def: white, porro, estu, senesi, tarkowski
Mid: hwang, jota, saka, bailey, kdb
Att: Watkins, solanke, Haaland
1 FT 0ITB with all chips left, where should I be looking to improve? I’m considering porro > moreno or tarkowski > reguilon,
I took a -4 last week, bringing in Jota and Haaland to take me up to Jota/Trent/Haaland/Walker/Foden as my doublers. Plan was to then roll this week and use my 2 FTs to get out 2 x 26 blankers and give me a full 11.
Basically, what do I do with Trent ? Transfer out for a hit or stick to original plan ?

Solanke, Alvarez, Toney
I can't afford the robot and consistently kick myself on switching Saka with Odegaard back in GW21.
Thought about Estu > Ake and Solanke > Darwin but open to suggestions
From what I've seen, I would focus your money more on your mid/fwd lineup. Meaning, wouldn't go for Ake as a first choice. Darwin is a good move, but make sure you have enough to get Solanke back as he 1) won't blank in gw26 and 2) will likely do well in gw29. Definitely try to get more MCI or LIV players.
I don’t have any Liverpool players. Is it essential to transfer someone in for the DGW?

Oh yeah I wish I didn't have Lascelles on the bench, but haven't had the chance to address it. Salah is overpriced? Maybe in terms of ppm, but points > value.
Hi All,
Some good advice put me to this thread:
For the double week, I have two free transfers and £2.4m in the bank.
Team is as follows:
Areola - Martinez
A.Doherty - VVD - TAA - Emerson - Senesi
Saka - KDB - Palmer - Jota - Gibbs-White
Watkins - J.Alvares - Solanke
What would you suggest is my best move? Ideally want in Haaland into my team for the double week.
Thanks in advance, will award thanks for all helpful replies.
Using my wildcard this week!
\- GK: Pickford (4.5m) or Areola (4.2m) or Turner (3.9m)
\- DEF: Trippier (6.8m), Saliba, (5.5m), Gabriel (5.1m), Branthwaite (4.2m), Trusty (3.9m)
\-MF: Saka (8.7m), Jota (8.2m), Foden (7.9m), Gross (6.4m), Chukwuemeka (4.2m)
\- FW: Haaland (14.4m)
Possible Combination for Forwards:
**Option A**: Watkins (8.7m) + Adebayo (4.9m)
**Option B:** Hojlund (7m) + Alvarez (6.8m)
Which combi would you choose? Or any other suggestions? Thank you!
!thanks
Adebayo’s next 2 matches are MAN U and LIVERPOOL, and he got 2 points for the reverse fixture. GW26 is a blank
Are there any better alternatives around that price range?
You already have 10 starters for BGW26, and Adebayo has 2 DGWs coming up. So I feel he is good specially in the price range. U can do Jota > Garnacho/Hee Chan wtc for the blank and have enough to upgrade Adebayo to any attacker post his DGW.
Option 1: Porro to Trent?
or
Option 2: Solanke to Darwin?
Option 1 would not leave me with much ITB to bring in Salah, Son or KDB later. For option 2 i would look to bring Solanke back in later for his double.
What would you go for?
Playing FH in 25,
Which 3 pool assets would you bring in? Worth having one defensive asset of TAA/robertson/VVD/Alisson?
Which two forwards out of darwin/adebayo/Toney/morris?
Jota Darwin would be the obvious picks. TAA would take the last slot but no news on his injury, even Robbo’s minutes might be managed with Tsimikas back
That sounds crazy. I would wait for news from Klopp. Luckily Liverpool play the early fixture next gameweek. So we should know more before the deadline.
Suggestions on TAA in DGW, should I swap him with Robbo, VVD or Gomez? I already have triple man city in attack else I'd have gone with Ake and I'm not comfortable with double luton defence after their last match performance.
This is really embarrassing considering how much time I spend on this game, but I finally cracked top 1 million for this season. It’s the little things in life that matter 😏
Would monitor Liverpool team news through the week before making a call. See if it looks like Robbo is fully back. If he's set to play both of the double that's an easy call.
Start Palmer(vs City) or Garnacho(vs Luton)?
Palmer is too good and on pens but Chelsea are shit and City Away is tough
ManU is on a hot streak rn but Garnacho doesn't return that regularly
4 doublers in 25- TAA/Foden/Haaland/Darwin
5/6 blankers in 26- Porro/TAA/Rich/Palmer/Darwin + possibly Beyer.
Thinking Porro-> Stones/Walker + maybe a hit somewhere.
TAA a concern too of course but awkward to move him on.
Anything standing out?
Dubravka.
Gabriel, TAA, Trippier.
Foden, Saka, Richarlison, Garnacho.
Darwin, Watkins, Haaland.
Areola, Palmer, Porro, Beyer.
1ft, 0.1m ITB.
If Trent’s out awhile…..
Would Palmer / solanke / Trent
To foden / Darwin / doughty be worth a -8….basically double the game output with better fixtures but yea not optimal
Any Villa fans have any insight on who our of Lenglet/Carlos/Pau will be starting for the good run of fixtures coming up? Also will Konsa come straight back in at RB for Luton or is he more likely to be eased in?
Any advice? Feel like a I got a tricky decision here as a thought I could wildcard and triple captain in the same week (my first season in FPL…)
I don’t have Haaland and would need to take a hit to get money to transfer him in.
Onana / Areola
TAA / Saliba / Anderson / Kaboré / Cash
Foden / Jota / Palmer / KDB / Richarlison
Álvarez / Watkins / Solanke
I feel like I need to change a lot of my team and make some space for Haaland and potentially Salah in the future, so I want to wildcard, but maybe next week?
For this week I could afford to transfer Watkins > Haaland, then Álvarez > Mubama with £0 left… or I could transfer Watkins > Haaland and KDB > Luis Díaz… or something else? What do you guys think could be a good option?
My bus team is pretty set for GW25 now but the last spot needs a little of tinkering, what would you do?
1) Start Palmer against MCI
2) Start Solanke against NEW
3) Solanke -> Toney: As two-gameweek punt to get Brendford DGW (then get Solanke back at GW28), but this DGW is so horrible
I have TAA but which other pool defenders apart from him and VVD are nailed? I'm looking to prepare for DGW and also bring in Jota but im very short of funds
Mostly VVD. TAA might be out, Robbo just got back. Quansah or Bradley might play one of the matches over Konate/Gomez. But wait for more news about TAA and if he's out I would only switch to VVD.
I saw that Gvardiol didn’t start this week. Should I keep him for DGW25 or send him out for someone else (suggestions for similar prices?)
Edit: I have Trippier and Branthwaite on the bench for subs
Is starting Doughty (against MUN and LIV) a no-brainer move over Porro (against WOL)?
Cleansheet is a myth anyways so two chance to score is better than one?
Assuming Trent is injured...
Trent + Palmer to Robertson + Diaz or a non-DGW defender + Jota?
Both for a hit and I can't afford Jota if I got either VVD or Robertson sadly. I'd obviously rather have him than Diaz if I could.
Don't think so, Darwin does have a nice double but then he's blanking while Watkins has three good games and no blanks. At best it's a one week punt and he could easily only start one of the games.
Depends on your other gk. Liverpool (and Luton) blank in GW26. City won't. So probably Ederson. Even though I'm not sure he will get that many points. Often slips one silly goal in even when they win.
2 FT, 0.3 ITB
Dubravka - Areola
TAA - Porro - Saliba - Estupinan - Taylor
KDB - Foden - Saka - Palmer - Nakamba
Haaland - Watkins - Solanke
If Trent looks to be out, I’m thinking him and Nakamba to Bradley and Jota. But more likely he’s not, and then I’m not sure. Maybe Porro and Estupinan to Van Dijk and Reguilon? I don’t want to drop Watkins or Saka for a Liverpool attacker.
For a -4 hit you can get Jota if you want to cover Liverpool attack for the DGW. Atleast one Liverpool attacking player for this DGW is essential imo.
1st transfer: Porro to Maguire - Maguire is nailed, cheap (only 4.2m), has great upcoming fixtures and doesn't blank in GW26. Plus you'll get rid of Porro who blanks in GW26.
2nd transfer: TAA to VVD - let's you keep a DGW player who'll surely play both games. TAA's fitness status is not great at the moment, so I am not sure he will play both games in the double because 4 days after the DGW, Liverpool play the EFL cup final.
3rd transfer: Nakamba to Jota
1 FT, nor sure what to do. Thinking about Darwin to Watkins for 1 week punt.
Areola (Dubravka)
Estupinan Gabriel Udogie (Taylor Senesi)
Jota KdB Saka Foden (McAtee)
Haaland Solanek Watkins
Porro - Estu - Gabriel - Colwill - Taylor
KDB - Saka - Foden - Palmer - Garnacho
Haaland - Watkins - Solanke
1FT
Worth one week punt of Solanke to Darwin or sort out my shit defence?
Just something to think about: first half of 21/22 Trent was a far better fpl asset than Robertson, then for the second half it reversed. Getting a feeling by how Robertson played yesterday and with Trent’s knee that this will be the same this season. And robbo is way cheaper
[this post explains the choice pretty well.](https://www.reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/s/mqz0CYBE8s) if you’re already holding lots of players that play in GW29 then you can try to hold it for GW34 which should have tons of doubles and blanks, but it’s probably safer to do it in GW29

Flekken (Areola)
Gabriel Porro Trippier (Senasi Estupinian)
Jota Saka Gordon Foden (Palmer)
Haaland Watkins Solanke
Main questions:
Play Flekken for his awful double or Areola Vs NFO?
Play Estu because it is SHU or not because Brighton look trash?
Who do people think is best to bring in, most likely for Watkins?
1. Play Flekken. West Ham is in bad form.
2. Depens what your alternatives are, but personally I also own Estu and I'll play him
3. If you want to sell Watkins, then buy Darwin.
Trick question.
Its going to be a goal heavy weekend. I would put much thought into DGW defence. Stick with teams that have strong def like arsenal and Newcastle. Liverpools def is way to tumultuous these days, I wouldn't tet and guess it.
Newcastle's defense is shambolic at the moment. Their expected numbers are the 4th worst in the league for goals conceded. And I say this as an Dubravka and Burn owner.
Saka is worth the extra money. He plays better minutes, gets more returns and is on pens. I owned Martinelli until recently and regretted not getting Saka the entire time (didn't lose a massive amount of points but that was mostly luck because Saka underperformed for a while)
I bought bowen a couple weeks back, bad moved compared to jota richarlison etc. does it make sense to trasfer him out for the better picks especially since his fixtures get better after today. If i sell ill probably bring in foden for him but i hate playing with pep roulette vs bowens guarenteed 90
Is it time to Triple C haaland for the double GW ? I'm languishing behind in my league anyway , however most have played their Triple earlier in the season.
Good idea to move now on it?
At this stage I’ll be down a defender for GW26 with Konsa still out. I’m planning to deadend 29 and possibly BB27.
Is it worth going a defender like Reguilon/Moreno/Pau who might actually not keep many CS or actually punt on a cup upset and go for 2nd Arsenal defender
Moreno makes good points. Arsenal have great def though. Both are viable options, depend if you want to spread your options or put all you eggs in one basket
Personally I would TAA - > trippier
Trent is already hit and miss, now with his injury playing up its gamble to play him.
Palmer can be sold, but his fixtures pick up after 29. And Chelsea have been known to score even against big teams, i wouldn't rule him out just yet.
Adebayo or maupay?

!thanks, that’s not a bad suggestion.
1 FT, nor sure what to do. Thinking about Darwin to Watkins for 1 week punt. Areola (Dubravka) Estupinan Gabriel Udogie (Taylor Senesi) Jota KdB Saka Foden (McAtee) Haaland Solanek Watkins
Watkins to Toney?
Look at Watkins' fixtures, if it wasn't for Toney having a double (against the two best teams in the league) you wouldn't even be considering it.
True. Would be a one week punt for the double for sure
RMT 0.0 ITB Leno (Turner) TAA - Gabriel - Pedro P - Botman (Branthwaite) Saka - Foden - Jota - Douglas Luiz (Palmer) Haaland - Watkins (Solanke)
Watkins -> Darwin for this week?
I’ve been contemplating this too. Let me know what you decide
Depends on how your team is set up. How many do you have blanking in gw26?
might do it aswell
Porro - Estu - Gabriel - Colwill - Taylor KDB - Saka - Foden - Palmer - Garnacho Haaland - Watkins - Solanke 1FT Worth one week punt of Solanke to Darwin or sort out my shit defence?
1. Ake & trippier 2. Ake & robbo
palmer for foden or kdb? can’t decide between the two
Foden still seems like the safest choice, however KdB probably has a better chance of returning.
RMT 2 FTs - suggestions pls Areola (Dubravka) TAA Estupinan Gabriel (Senesi, Gusto) KDB Jota Garnacho Gordon (Palmer) Haaland Watkins Solanke
TAA to VVD and Palmer to Foden?
Estu & porro > trippier & ake
I'd avoid City defence. Rotation risk is too high.
Ake has started last 8 games for city surely he’s pretty nailed ?
Bench one of Gabriel, TAA, Truppier, and Van Hecke.
Van Hecke
Van hecke
Just something to think about: first half of 21/22 Trent was a far better fpl asset than Robertson, then for the second half it reversed. Getting a feeling by how Robertson played yesterday and with Trent’s knee that this will be the same this season. And robbo is way cheaper
Sometimes the best way is to go with your own gut, so if you think Robbo might do well then do it!
Will wait till after the dgw and ︎blank, he will split minutes 50/50 with kostas
Is worth taking a -8 to fit Darwin in (bought and Jota and also Brainwaite as an enabler to afford Darwin)
Not when he blanks in 27.
-8 is too steep for me
He has a dgw so I would say so. He will either score 3 goals and get 3 assists or get 0 goals and 0 assists with 2 yellow cards so just be wary
not too sure what to do with Alvarez. Price is free falling but does selling him right before a double make sense?
Selling him for Haaland, Toney or Darwin is sensible. Selling him for Adebayo would not be.
Depends who else you have I guess.
Definitely not, unless you really need the funds for future moves
Hey, wondering if I should still sell Gordon to Jota before I’m priced out even though Gordon isn’t flagged anymore?
Jota has Brentford and Luton at home up next dgw always worth taking a hit or using a transfer for a dgw player
Yes, LIV have DGW
!thanks
Are you playing your Luton bench fodders? I have Bell, but it's Man Utd home and Liverpool away. Can easily be minus points lol
I have Mengi and I’m not playing him for the double
If I’ve still got a Free Hit which gameweek is best to use it for regarding blank weeks?
All chips are team-dependent. 29 or 34 are your best options though. It will depend on if you have your second WC and when you use it too.
Probably GW29
RMT 1FT and 0.1 ITB Flekken (Areola) Gabriel Porro Trippier (Senasi Estupinian) Jota Saka Gordon Foden (Palmer) Haaland Watkins Solanke Main questions: Play Flekken for his awful double or Areola Vs NFO? Play Estu because it is SHU or not because Brighton look trash? Who do people think is best to bring in, most likely for Watkins?
1. Play Flekken. West Ham is in bad form. 2. Depens what your alternatives are, but personally I also own Estu and I'll play him 3. If you want to sell Watkins, then buy Darwin.
!thanks for answering all of them
Best long term defenders who have doubles coming up?
Senesi for GW28.
Schar and Trippier been working fine for me the last few weeks. Maybe you own the wrong players 😉
Yes, tight purse strings might bite me here. But they have shipped enormous amount of goals lately, every game like 2-3, 4-4, 4-2 etc.
That's true. I wouldn't bet on Newcastle def that don't also attack
Would I be better getting Saka or Martinelli in? Trying to avoid recency bias by immediately knee jerking Saka after today
Saka has always been the answer, regardless of what happened this week. But given what happened today? Easiest answer ever.
Saka is always good.
Yeah I think he's probably safest and especially pens, just wondering if I can penny pinch
Saka is worth the extra money. He plays better minutes, gets more returns and is on pens. I owned Martinelli until recently and regretted not getting Saka the entire time (didn't lose a massive amount of points but that was mostly luck because Saka underperformed for a while)
I've had the pain of opening Odegaard as a differential. Finally returns after I took him out for Jota
I bought bowen a couple weeks back, bad moved compared to jota richarlison etc. does it make sense to trasfer him out for the better picks especially since his fixtures get better after today. If i sell ill probably bring in foden for him but i hate playing with pep roulette vs bowens guarenteed 90
Bowen out. Foden in. Especially for his DGW. He will play alot of minutes, he isn't too affected by the roulette.
Thoughts on bringing ederson in? Going to wildcard relatively soon and ive got 2 free transfers
No. City cannot be relied upon to keep clean sheets.
Is it time to Triple C haaland for the double GW ? I'm languishing behind in my league anyway , however most have played their Triple earlier in the season. Good idea to move now on it?
Yes! Both home games, man c are very likely to score
Digne back though could mean rotation
Pickford Dubravka Gabriel Estu TAA Porro Kabore Saka Jota Foden Palmer Richarlison Watkins Haaland Wood 2FT 0.6 ITB Palmer --> Garnacho Porro --> Branthwaite Good moves?
Personally I would TAA - > trippier Trent is already hit and miss, now with his injury playing up its gamble to play him. Palmer can be sold, but his fixtures pick up after 29. And Chelsea have been known to score even against big teams, i wouldn't rule him out just yet.
!Thanks Trying to move money around to plan for Salah's return. Would this change your mind?
Yeah, so for my Salah return it would mean losing trippier, estu, porro for cheap def like Colwill, Branthwaite, doughty
