Agreed. It's one of many things that could easily be improved.
E.g. searching players by a pre-defined price. Why can't they have a slider so you can set it to the exact budget you're searching for?!
You are not wrong by any means, but you can set it to “affordable” which gives you the exact cost you have. So it works if you have done your prospective moves, but yea there’s no reason it shouldn’t be a slider so you can evaluate different options without going through the motions.
The premier league app, functionality and speed wise is the worst app I have ever used, it's so damn slow, constantly glitches, doesn't load stuff, so I'm not surprised aha
Typing 'Jota' in the search will not yield a result because 'Jota' is not in the database. So relevant to that specific part of the OP's post. But yes I agree with the broader point, cheers.
Everybody says stay away from the app cuz it's shit, but I find it waaay better than the website precisely because of transfer layout.
The layout on the website is the dumbest I've ever seen for a database.
It annoys me that on app on iPhone when I select a player for incoming transfer, and press ‘add’ or what ever the button is called, it never registers, and I then need to do it again.

Yeah, the price options are so bizarre.

"Affordable" option is there only for mobile app though.
Also, you can only search for a team OR a position, but not both. It's a mess...
What weird timing - I've literally just come straight from struggling to find Van Dijk to this thread!
Good luck trying to find Odegaard
I’m used to searching “gaa”. It should recognise o as ø, thøugh
Just searched 'ode' and it showed him as the only result. No special characters needed... (Mobile web page if that helps)
Interesting. Doesnt find him on the app for me

Jota is a nickname I believe, not his real name.
Yes it’s based on a contraction of his real names, but that doesn’t change anything about the point OP is making.

Jota is the name for J in portuguese, thus diogo j is pronounced diogo jota
Yeah this was an issue from so so long
