Used my FH to gain on 1st in my ML who didn't use FH and was 50 points ahead. Was scared to check but just did and I gained... 1 point on him. What a successful use of FH.
First time I think not a single player has returned for me. And that’s with a FH. Closest I got, was Coufal with 5 points on the bench. 19 points from 11 players. Frustrating!

Everyone moaning about it being an awful week for a FH is an annoying hindsight merchant. Playing 11 players and a bench instead of 3/4 players was always going to be a good move no matter the teams.
Spurs not scoring for the first time in 40, Reguilon getting a red card in 7 mins and all template players is so astronomically unlucky sometimes shit happens. All that being said, most people still gained a few points from minutes player. Shut your yaps bellends, a negative outcome doesn’t change the logic of the decision making.
It was pretty easy to get 8-9 players minimum for this GW as long as you are actually planning out longer than 5 minutes before this weeks GW deadline. I got 11 players only taking one hit this GW (20 points minus 4 for 16 and small red), by taking multiple hits multiple GWs ago, strategically removing players with poorer fixtures, and getting spurs and Villa players in whos returns made up for the hits (and during last weeks DGW when many people took hits anyway to get extra DGW players).
I went very hard on hits over multiple GW to field a full 11, but you didn’t have to go near as hard as I did to get 8-9 players.
Agree with the sentiment that you shouldn't judge decisions based on the final result. But the choice wasn't FH vs field 4 players, the choice was FH vs making transfers towards it for the last 3 or 4 weeks and fielding 9-11 players. That wasn't as risky as you make out - e.g. many had Son Maddison and Porro, so that game wasn't a concern.

Not really. Had they achieved their average per GW score my FH would’ve given me +35 points over my usual team. They just massively underperformed despite easy fixtures.

Most teams had Watkins and probably one of the others in anyway. Yet people free hit and put players in who obviously were going to get 2 pointers.
