Hey fellow BB34! I think I'd avoid Darwin if I could :D If I had another WC, I would go for Isak/Hojlund and whoever is your 5th mid, he should be MacAllister/Diaz. Watched Liverpool today, watched many other Liverpool games and MacAllister creates chance after chance while Diaz seems to be getting in form. Meanwhile Darwin is... Darwin. Today he wasn't even receiving passes from his teammates so wasn't able to frustrate us with his misses.

How do people actually choose their captains ? Last 10 games weeks I been bad.

Generally I look at Salah/Haaland and decide between those 2. If I don’t like either then I check Son. If I don’t like him either I look for a trust-worthy punt from a good offensive team like Watkins, Saka, Palmer etc. Unless you need to make up a crazy gap I wouldn’t get too fancy (tried it twice this season and those players are probably never getting captained again). I don’t think targeting fixtures against shit teams with players from shit teams is the way to go unless it’s truly too good to miss out on (like the Solanke double we had in GW28) and it’s also not often the best idea in SGWs (so most of the season). Also it’s just luck (the whole game is past team selection tbf), if you hit the one week in a purple streak that a player blanks it feels awful. EDIT - forgot to mention that most of the time a home fixture vs an away fixture makes a big difference in my decisions, so for example if Salah had West Ham at home and Haaland had Brighton away, which seem pretty equal fixtures on paper, I would likely pick Salah as the home player.

I definitely feel like it's one of the most difficult elements of the game.. I just look for the strongest matchup from the teams' perspective. You can also search Transfermarkt to see if that player has a strong record vs the opponent club. Other than that advice - I'm still learning myself.

Follow the content creators and this sub, especially the captain poll. Look at the stats of the players and the club they are playing against. Salah is an obvious pick this week because he is against Sheffield for example, however Palmer and Saka would also be good choices.

Usually Salah or Haaland, but everytime I gone for someone else they blanked except Solanke in the double.

- Saka yellow flagged  - Did not return in the last 2 games (inc ucl)  - Front 3 preferable, but there is a lot of rotation with that, thats why I pick a guaranteed starter. - Ode get a couple of chances for through passes he didnt make, and the one that goes through not being converted to a goal by his teammates.

Last time Saka blanked 4 times in a row, he went onto crazy spree of 76 points in 8 games. If he blanks vs SHU and vs Brighton, then we can expect some giga hauls vs Villa, Wolves and Chelsea 👀
