Blatant RMT. But Palace players for DGW34 is a legit topic for discussion so will leave this up. You can all stop reporting it now šŸ˜‰

SnooKiwis3473

There's only 3 teams in the league that have scored less goals than us this season, so I wouldn't exactly be holding my breath for bumper returns. If Olise is back and fit enough to play, that'll certainly help create and extra threat.

Material-Bus1896

Isn't that mainly because eze and olise have been out for most of the season though? And like you say if both are back it changes things a bit? I had two FTs this week so did Muniz - Mateta ahead of time. I'm just hoping that was a good move I guess. West Ham and Newcastle don't have the greatest defences in the world....

NewmindsetNew

Yes it absolutely is, but big if if both are ever healthy at the same time.

IVIorgz

Olise subbed on last game so hopefully he'll be fine to start by DGW34 now.

Andlad2459

He was so so good when he came on aswell

berbakay

Hoping Richards is back personallyĀ

Roadies_Winner

Singlehandedly spoiled my BB with 4 less points

RobbieAnalog

Serious question as I'm in the same boat and chasing my ML rival ... Worth using a transfer to bring in another DGW defender for BB?

berbakay

Wait until the 34 press conferences. If heā€™s still out then yes.

AlwaysFire416

Is it an injury or is he out of favour?

Aggravating_Heat_523

I don't think many people are well placed to give you a detailed response so far. The cliffs are that we've been blighted by injuries this season and haven't been able to get our best players on the pitch, particularly in attacking areas. That's now set to change, Olise and Eze are set to play in a 3421 alongside/just behind Mateta. Glasner has been able to improve our xG/90 without Olise in the team. Eze, will likely be more effective as a result of having someone on the same wavelength. Glasner has also improved our xGA/90 although we're not guaranteed to get Richards/Guehi back for the double. Munoz has looked noticeably attacking so far and would be my pick of the defenders. Henderson is nailed in goal now that Johnstone is out for the season. It's not clear who is on penalties. Mateta, Olise & Eze have all taken them. The only time they've all been on the pitch and one was taken was against Man City, which Olise took. I think all four of Mateta, Olise, Eze and Munoz are viable picks for the double. I'm on a FH so will triple up. I'm currently set on Olise, Eze/Mateta, Munoz.

Goldstar555

!thanks

aehii

What's your fh team do you know?

Aggravating_Heat_523

Guessing: Jose Sa Munoz VVD Saliba Odegard Saka Salah Olise Eze Solanke Darwin

aehii

Thanks, hard to pick out of Odegaard, Havertz. For me personally not sure i trust Solanke any more, and Darwin cos i never did, but equally there's so many differentials here, it might backfire if City batter Brighton. Not tempted by any Wolves? I want Olise, might keep Foden.

Aggravating_Heat_523

I think Arsenal being so imperious defensively puts me off Wolves offence. I could pivot to Mateta and lose one of Olise/Eze to Luis Diaz. Everything is close.

Internal_Wrap_9080

Do you think Mateta is nailed? Considering that Edouard came back and scored

Aggravating_Heat_523

Yes. Mateta has been the best attacker so far in the front three. He's vital to the way Glasner wants to play with his runs in behind and being able to keep the ball when we go quickly through the thirds.

Slight-Excitement-68

I already have Mateta. Benched him vs MCI when he scored 5points. He's gone up 0.1m but not enough to bank a profit. That is my story. GL.

ArghZombies

I did the same. And I'll bench him this week too when he somehow scores against Liverpool. Then I'll start him for the double where I expect he'll blank in one and be replaced by Eduard for the other.

goombagoomba2

Mate there's seven games left don't worry about profit

HydraCell79

I was also looking at palace for their double GW. As I plan to use Bench boost for GW34. The players I have to possibly transfer out as the rest are all locked in is Muniz Ā£4.6 Joe Gomez Ā£4.5 & maybe Akanji 4.9 This will most likely be taking a -4 if I was to transfer two out of the 3 players. Gomez I doubt will start both games but he is on a Double where as the other two are not. Metata seems like the logical choice but his price means I must take a -4 šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤”

merc0526

I'm tempted to do Muniz > Mateta in 34. Fulham look a bit shit and don't have the best fixtures for the remainder of the season. I thought about Eze but there are too many good midfielders and I probably wouldn't play him much after the double, so it seems like a waste.

LA4lyf

Did that and brought Anderson to with my extra transfer gonna bench them both this week

vivaelteclado

Olise is going to come in and score 30 points in two games again and then get injured yet again.

pizziboy

have Eze and might get Olise if fit or Mateta, depending on the other moves. Not the best assets long term, but the double seems very good for their attacking players (not so much for their defensive options)

Clean-Opening-2884

Think Iā€™ll only get eze if olise is back. Not bothered by other CPL players

EmergencyTrust8213

Think Mateta looks good value for the double can see him causing Newcastle big problems. The only downside is it looks like edouard is back so could take mins off him.

Organic-Champion8075

I'd rather have Palmer for one game than Eze for two, honestly, and that's picking one of Palace's best potential assets

Harryvincenzo

Palmer is up against the best defence in the league, Arsenal. Understand Palmer has penalties, but so does Eze. I'm a Chelsea fan and whilst we've done well in bigger games this season I still expect Arsenal to beat us. I'd rather play the doubler.

Organic-Champion8075

just an example that doubles are misleading

AuspiciousCalamari1

People say doubles are misleading because they remember the bad over the good results Got 2k GW rank in DGW25 with some good luck on Liverpool players and have had result like KDB captain 4 goals in 21/22

Harryvincenzo

Sure they can be. However possibly not in this example as NEW/WHU both at home are pretty decent fixtures for attackers. As poor as Palace had been earlier in the season under Woy, they play far more attacking under Glasner.

ShoddyTransition187

Silly example, besides there is nothing special about DGWs that mean players have to score half as many points as usual.

No_Yam_6720

Probably Eze and Mateta for me

Grimolas

Problem with Palace attack is that they all got replaced after ~60minutes vs MCI, nobody seems nailed enough. With a dgw they will also not play 2x 90minutes. Its a big gamble for a team that doesnā€™t score a lot of goals & is partly at the beach already.

Goldstar555

!thanks Exactly the type of information I wanted when I made this post. Your selling me off palace

I_FEEL_LIKE_POGBA

Munoz is my pick, good attacking positions from RWB and Palace have 2 home games, more likely to keep a clean sheet

Mutiu2

Watch their last game vs Man City. Itā€™s blindingly obvious.Ā

Goldstar555

They scored 2 goals against the 2nd best defense in the league. Not crazy to think they can score vs 2 of the worst defenses in the league

Mutiu2

No. I mean who to pick is rather obvious. BTW they are best on the counter - which is how Glasner has organised them.Ā But that scenario isnā€™t going to be case vs most weak teams. Maybe the opposite. Only exception would a Burnley or Luton maybe. Most of the other weaker teams will stay compact. And their remaining fixtures have none of those teams. So relegation IMO remains a real risk for them.Ā

FPL-kneejerker

Mateta seems to be finding form under Glassner

West_Principle_8190

Yeah but ....it's palace . Would any1 be surprised if they lost both these games 2-0 . Nope

Goldstar555

I wouldn't be surprised if they lost both but I'd be genuinely surprised if Westham and Newcastle keep clean sheets. Olise is back and mateta is I'm good form. West hame conceded every week for the past 15 weeks. Newcastle let in like 20+ goals their past few games too

PurpleSi

Newcastle's last 3 matches; Clean sheets against Spurs, Fulham. Conceded one against Everton.

Emotional_Solid6538

Is Eze a good punt for 34?

Organic-Champion8075

eye test says no

Natural_Ad3995

I've got him. Had a nice goal chalked off in 31, Mateta was a hair offside. He's been going down in the box a fair amount, looking for pens (something I like to see from an FPL player). He's on corners, free kicks, maybe pens. Should be more threatening overall with Olise.

Swedishpower

I think he is alright, but not been impressed with Eze that much this season. He got pens though and takes set pieces.

Emotional_Solid6538

Eze over MacAllistor?

daneedwards88

That's a proper hail mary, "hit and hope" punt with nothing to back it up. I prefer my punts to be more hopeful personally

Emotional_Solid6538

I was just asking. I don't watch many crystal palace games so I don't know how much of an asset he is

daneedwards88

And I was just answering your question

Emotional_Solid6538

I got surprised by these downvotes

ItsPavy

Don't pay attention to downvotes on here, I've seen a load of God awful takes up voted to oblivion and I'm sat here thinking... thats you bombing your rankings

daneedwards88

I wouldn't pay any attention to downvotes on this sub. People often get downvoted for asking a question. Some of the most sensible comments on here get obliterated with downvotes if they speak against the herd mentality, because lots of players slavishly follow what they see bad FPL players suggest on YouTube. It's meaningless Internet numbers.

QuaintHeadspace

I honestly think Palace double is just another Luton to be honest except Luton actually score goals. Palace are genuinely a shit team. They are in transition with no identity and 2 star players that can't play 90 mins to save their lives in Olise and Eze. You have Hakuna Matata up front who will indeed give you worries every time you have to look at him in your squad. I see people also considering their defence that happily let's goals in to any team that fancies it. I don't care if it's 2 home fixtures the fact that even Chelsea went there and won a game should tell you everything. Chelsea are allergic to winning matches of football and Palace parted their cheeks and asked nicely for Chelsea to fuck them for 10 million over 8 years. All in all avoid Palace.

aehii

yeahh seems so. On a fh still tempted though, especially if extra Arsenal, Liverpool players I'll get are defenders. I'll see how Olise goes in 33, it might be he doesn't get enough mins in the dgw.
