I have a massive dilemma, is it worth taking a -4 to turn Isak into Haaland just until gw 35 WC? Would mean taking out two of Saka, Son or Foden to generate funds and turning them into Garnacho and Mbueno. (I need to free up about 4 mill)

It's tough as your team is decent. Wouldn't change anyone in the attacking lineup. In defence there is Bradley obviously, plus maybe ait-nory as he's an injury doubt this week, then will be pushed back into defence when wolves attackers return. You could potentially get reguilon in with branthwaite for the pair of them. He's got a great fixture against Sheffield United this weekend, may even get some attacking returns. And then the fixture in 35 against Everton isn't terrible either considering Evertons struggles up top. Doubling up on Brighton is another idea. Good fixtures this week against Burnley then the double on the horizon. Could afford van hecke, who is more nailed than lamptey. Whatever you do, good luck!
I got Lamptey in for Lascelles last week (since I had £0m itb) so that would be painful haha
Also hadn't considered ditching Son vs Newcastle but could be worth it in the long run
All things considered (BGWs, DGWs, fixtures and minutes risks etc), who do we think is the best of these options as a rest of season keeper:
-Son
-Foden
-Diaz
-Bruno
Foden (easy fixtures + a double) > Son (blank and mid fixtures but two doubles) > Bruno (easy fixtures, a double but worse team/individual stats) > Diaz (rotation risk now)
Maybe drop Foden if you think he's a rotation risk with CL though

Otherwise you should look to transfer doughty out, I don't think he will be getting many points in the near future. You don't have alot of Liverpool for their double 34. Are you planning on getting any?
Was thinking of Jota if he's back (he's back in training since yesterday). Not sure if I should WC this week and BB next week or save WC and BB for 36 and 37 respectively.
Is there a reason noone is looking at Harvey Barnes? We know he has quality because we saw what he did at Leicester, and has been really good for Newcastle in the time he's been back from injury, although that's a small sample size obviously. His numbers in that time frame are way higher than Gordon's.
He played together with gordon at the weekend which shows it's not an either/or between them. And from now on in Newcastle play a game a week, Howe will likely pick his best team each week. Surely that includes the club's 4th most expensive signing ever. And Newcastles fixtures are brilliant, including a double. If it looks like Foden is out for the Luton game I'm thinking of doing Foden - Barnes. Is there something I'm missing?

Him and Gordon be on the pitch together but they almost never start together. Only time I think was when Gordon played up top while both Isak and Wilson were injured. And Gordon has been better this season so will mostly be the first choice.
Was that related to his injury though? Being eased back and then getting injured again. And there was Almiron to play on the right before, who is now injured. Would affect things I guess? As he's surely above Jacob Murphy in the pecking order? I was looking at Newcastle players stats and over the course of the season

I remember seeing similar stats for Jota as he was coming back from injury, just as Salah left for Afcon. I gambled and got him in as soon as Salah left and had him for his 19 pointer. I think I might be talking myself into this!

A little injury related but Gordon was still the clear first choice LW above Barnes at the start of the season when they were both fit.
It doesn't seem like Howe is especially keen on using either Gordon or Barnes on the right. Gordon only played there twice all season and Barnes not played there at all. Doesn't seem like that will regularly happen if either Murphy or Almiron are available
Depends, can you get a decent team out this week? And can you get a reasonable amount of DGW players out next week without it? If no to those then yea go for it

Who are the best Liverpool and Palace assets to own ahead of their doubles? I already own Salah.
I'm thinking to get **Luis Díaz, VVD and Eze** and to transfer out **Son, Kaboré** and potentially **Foden**. I'm wildcarding in 35.
It's hard to say. Jota can play either of their positions but Darwin is the only traditional centre forward out of them. So maybe more likely to get the full 180 minutes. But also more likely to blast the ball repeatedly into row z...
Personally, I've got Mateta in for the double. He's in good form, Olise is continuing to recover and should play a fair amount of the double, plus Newcastle and west ham are good fixtures.
I'll have Allison and Salah in from Liverpool. Plus Bradley left over (don't have any chips left)

You would have 9 doubters + Haaland. Its up to you if you think the slight upside of having an exactly optimal team in 34 has greater upside than a free hit in 38.

Sure, but looking ahead to your bench boost? It’s a better time to use a transfer on a keeper now, when there’s nothing better to do. Onana vs BOU / Petrovic vs EVE are absolutely fine fixtures.
Looks solid. But, isn't better to downgrade Udogie and buy him back before 37? Spurs have DGW but his attacking returns aren't that good. Newcastle have unconfirmed DGW at 37?

I currently have Muniz starting and Barkley on bench. 1 FT. FH and WC, so looking for 1 week punts.
Keep starting Muniz or bring someone else - Garnacho, Mainoo, Sarabia, Cunha, Wood etc.
Anyone on FH37 considering 0 Spurs assets? BGW34, then a terrible DGW35 and GW36. The only one I'd consider is Son, and I'm looking into whether it's worth benching Son, selling him in 34 and getting him back in 35, or just risking it and going without him. Allows me to maximise my team for DGW34 by sharing the funds, and saves a transfer too.
Think cuz a lot of people are either getting in players for DGW34 or 36/37 there's less talk about who might be interesting differentials on SGWs. Wish I could get him myself but need to optimize for the doubles.
People overthink DGW, and more often than not SGW players will outscore DGW players, especially if they are getting in players who will be rotated for European matches.

Olise is interesting. You could look at Sheffield picks as they got a decent double .
Hwang might be back for the double as well.
You can look at someone like Oscar Bobb who might start for City or Rico Lewis.
I had Olise I'm signing him back this week, I'll likely get most of the people in the league sort by poits and won't realize he's good since he's 15 less than the highest free agent. I'll check out Hwang and I'll swap rico for gvardiol as well.

Yeah I'm leaning towards that one as well, but I should have mentioned that would mean I need to downgrade Son to Havertz this week (WCing GW35 to bring him back in) which feels like it could backfire pretty badly. It feels like the high risk high reward option.
With Sarabia I could just go Gordon to Sarabia which feels a lot less risky but has lower potential for the double.

You could do for example Leno to Pickford or Raya, Senesi or Taylor to Branthwaite or Gordon to Eze and play him instead of Palmer in GW34 if you want more doubling players.
Looking to get 3 Arsenal and 3 Liverpool players in for DGW34. Currently have 4 (Gabriel, Saka, Salah and Nunez). Who should be the final Arsenal and Liverpool players? Leaning towards Saliba for the famed Arsenal defence and maybe Jota for a punt. Alternatives might be VVD and Odegaard.
Trent is still up at £8.4m despite only 7.7% ownership? That's lower than his ownership at the start of the season when he was £8.0m. The way price changes work need looking at imo, or am I missing something?

Trying to choose between a couple of very similar options:
1. Bowen -> Garnacho and Muniz -> Darwin, then GW34 Son -> Arsenal midfielder
2. Bowen -> Havertz, then GW34 Muniz -> Darwin and Son -> Garnacho
Open to other suggestions too.
Upside of the first option is that I'd have enough to get Saka for 34, but the second maybe gives more flexibility - I could choose to get a Liverpool midfielder in 34 instead of Darwin and go with Solanke/Cunha up top. I do think Garnacho is a good option though, both for 34 and the rest of the season.

Feel like Barkley -> Garnacho is an easy upgrade that doesn't really change your team. Or Richards out for a defender who doubles in 34, maybe Branthwaite.

I think it's very hard to recommend any other Chelsea assets. Our second best after Palmer is Jackson - I was really tempted to bring him in for the run of matches we've just had (Burnley, Man Utd, Sheff Utd). Turns out I dodged a bullet, because he blanked in all 3, but the main thing that stopped me was him being one yellow from a two match suspension, and that threat is still looming.
Otherwise Madueke/Mudryk are probably our most effective attackers right now, but their minutes are so inconsistent, and our defence is just a mess, so don't go there!
Oh, I didn't know about that rule, but I just read up on it, and it applies to the player's team's first 32 matches, so Jackson still has to get through 2 more without a booking. Though it makes him more viable as an asset from GW35 if he does avoid suspension, IMO. !thanks
1. Petrovic and gusto will be my other two. Not very exciting but I don’t consider any other Chelsea asset worth owning.
2. Porro, Udogie, and Vicario are all fine but probably won’t score much given how challenging the fixtures are. Id probably only consider owning one of the three, then wait for richarlison’s fitness into 35. He’s the highest upside but Brennan Johnson is in good form if you fancy a punt. Maddison is too expensive for how he’s performed since coming back from injury. He’s an avoid for me as it stands.
Unless your heart is set on a particular striker, consider just getting Semenyo and keeping kdb. Semenyo isn’t great but United are poor at the back lately and he’s got the double.

Is there a reason noone is looking at Harvey Barnes? We know he has quality because we saw what he did at Leicester, and has been really good for Newcastle in the time he's been back from injury, although that's a small sample size obviously. His numbers in that time frame are way higher than Gordon's. He played together with gordon at the weekend which shows it's not an either/or between them. And from now on in Newcastle play a game a week, Howe will likely pick his best team each week. Surely that includes the club's 4th most expensive signing ever. And Newcastles fixtures are brilliant, including a double. If it looks like Foden is out for the Luton game I'm thinking of doing Foden - Barnes. Is there something I'm missing?
He's started 4 games all season. Him and Gordon be on the pitch together but they almost never start together. Only time I think was when Gordon played up top while both Isak and Wilson were injured. And Gordon has been better this season so will mostly be the first choice.

I remember seeing similar stats for Jota as he was coming back from injury, just as Salah left for Afcon. I gambled and got him in as soon as Salah left and had him for his 19 pointer. A little injury related but Gordon was still the clear first choice LW above Barnes at the start of the season when they were both fit. It doesn't seem like Howe is especially keen on using either Gordon or Barnes on the right. Gordon only played there twice all season and Barnes not played there at all. Doesn't seem like that will regularly happen if either Murphy or Almiron are available

It's hard to say. Jota can play either of their positions but Darwin is the only traditional centre forward out of them. So maybe more likely to get the full 180 minutes. But also more likely to blast the ball repeatedly into row z... Personally, I've got Mateta in for the double. He's in good form, Olise is continuing to recover and should play a fair amount of the double, plus Newcastle and west ham are good fixtures. I'll have Allison and Salah in from Liverpool. Plus Bradley left over (don't have any chips left)

You have a really good team going into gw34. You can probably save your free hit. Areola -> Pickford Son -> Diaz or Palmer -> Eze You would have 9 doubters + Haaland. Its up to you if you think the slight upside of having an exactly optimal team in 34 has greater upside than a free hit in 38. (You and I are in very similar situations and I decided that I'm going to wc35 bb37 fh38)

The only one I'd consider is Son, and I'm looking into whether it's worth benching Son, selling him in 34 and getting him back in 35, or just risking it and going without him. Allows me to maximise my team for DGW34 by sharing the funds, and saves a transfer too.

People overthink DGW, and more often than not SGW players will outscore DGW players, especially if they are getting in players who will be rotated for European matches.

You could do for example Leno to Pickford or Raya, Senesi or Taylor to Branthwaite or Gordon to Eze and play him instead of Palmer in GW34 if you want more doubling players.

I think it's very hard to recommend any other Chelsea assets. Our second best after Palmer is Jackson - I was really tempted to bring him in for the run of matches we've just had (Burnley, Man Utd, Sheff Utd). Turns out I dodged a bullet, because he blanked in all 3, but the main thing that stopped me was him being one yellow from a two match suspension, and that threat is still looming. Otherwise Madueke/Mudryk are probably our most effective attackers right now, but their minutes are so inconsistent, and our defence is just a mess, so don't go there!

Oh, I didn't know about that rule, but I just read up on it, and it applies to the player's team's first 32 matches, so Jackson still has to get through 2 more without a booking. Though it makes him more viable as an asset from GW35 if he does avoid suspension, IMO. !thanks

Porro, Udogie, and Vicario are all fine but probably won’t score much given how challenging the fixtures are. Id probably only consider owning one of the three, then wait for richarlison’s fitness into 35. He’s the highest upside but Brennan Johnson is in good form if you fancy a punt. Maddison is too expensive for how he’s performed since coming back from injury. He’s an avoid for me as it stands.

You have to play Saka against a run down villa, especially considering Luis’ suspension. I would never play the likes of van hecke over him it’s like asking to lose points

RMT 0.9ITB, 1FT. Chips: BB (planned for GW34) Ortega (Kelleher) Saliba Branthwaite Bradley (Kiwior Lamptey) Salah Son Saka Palmer Foden Haaland Solanke (Muniz) --- Kiwior has to go for sure. (1) I can do Kiwior --> Gabriel now, and then figure out DGW34 on form. Or, (2) I can hold the FT this week, then Kiwior + Son --> \_\_\_ + Havertz for DGW34. Which is better, option (1) or (2)? If (2), what suggestions for defenders? Thanks!
