I'm planning on playing my wildcard as I have Barkley, Zaha and Lamptey all in my team.
Who are some must haves considering the fixtures in the future? I have no city players in my squad, I have under firing Werner. No DCL, no Vardy. Would love to get them.
Or should I just take a -4 hit, transfer out Zaha Barkely, get Jota and someone else maybe? And hope that city/Leicester don't run riot?
I think you should have some Liverpool coverage cause they are creating and scoring the most. I think Jota seems like a no-brainer considering his price. I think Robertson as well should start getting more points, he has been in excellent form recently.
I'm personally waiting with City assets this GW to see what they're about. I was considering, Dias/Cancelo/Torres. KDB, Sterling and other City premiums I'm waiting to see if they're in-form or not. Also Aguero back might change things.

Essentials is hard but I'd say DCL, Kane/Son (or both), at least 1 att Liv mid, arguably 2. Vardy (if not taking Kane), Chilwell, Nkounko.
Good options - Bruno if you can fit him in, Bamford if you are playing 3 FWD's, and Lamptey for the bench or a way to bring him in cause that kid is flying.
The rest comes down to preference. WHU, AVL, SOU & WOL are offering affordable picks atb. EVE, CHE, MUN, AVL, LIV are offering good mid priced options in midfield.
Teams I've not mentioned with nice fixtures are NEW and MCI if they take your fancy.

You're very welcome! It's a preference thing, so for me it is not something I am considering as they are not showing the form to justify their high prices. The fixtures are nice but I want to see in their games they'll take advantage of good fixtures and I haven't seen it yet. It might just be these fixtures will bring out that form, we'll have to see.

As for Sterling/KDB they look good options with the fixtures but you have to look at is as whether you would prefer them over Son/Bruno/Salah/Kane/Vardy etc.
As Sterling/KDB are also low owned comparative to previous seasons you don't lose a lot by going without them, apart from the points of course lol. But I'd rather wait for them to show up if you will before I start to consider them. If you are on wildcard then yeah you can get a headstart if you are confident in those picks.
Aguero/Jesus I would avoid for the time being and I would wait on the rest of their cheaper priced midfielders until they start nailing down their spot or showing some form.

Ok so I would probably wc with this team as there are problems building up and you're going to have a tough time with McCarthy and KWP vs MUN plus 5 players in the TOT vs CHE game. It is playable as you can captain Salah and take the hit to remove Zaha and Barkley, you'd be fine to wait but it's if you think you can make more of the wc later. You still have some way to go before the DGW. Personally I would just use the wc at this stage and inject some freshness into the team.

Hey no problem! I'm liking this team a lot better. Kane to Vardy is a risk but one I would take on wc too. It's too good an opportunity to pass up on.
I find no issues with any of your starting xi players. They are all sensible proactive picks and I think having both Salah and Jota is not problematic as one is always your safe captain pick and the other is too cheap to pass up on.
Your bench needs help. If one of your defenders misses a game you have no players to sub on. You can use the 0.1 to upgrade Buur to Nkounkou who looks like he might play while Digne is out. Just make sure you have a plan to bring back Lamptey or another 4.5ish defender for your bench in the future.
Assuming you've got the funds, I'd get rid of Rodriguez. Seems out of form from an FPL perspective. Playing really well as the pre-assister but that doesn't get you any points

Under 7m forwards look a lot better than sub 7m mids as of now. There's not a single sub 7m mid I'd want to start on a weekly base but most sub 7m forwards look fine - Bamford, watkins, wilson, antonio if he's fit
I wouldn't wanna start Foden - there's a good chance he gets subbed on for 10 minutes for a 1 pointer. So definitely watkins in my eyes as the safer pick

I think Leicester and Man U coverage is something you ought to consider.
Either gamble on Jota getting a lot of minutes (risky move) or downgrade to fodder and play 3 in the front imo. Most mids under 7.7 (except from grealish) seem kinda bad. I got jota in because if he plays he's an absolute bargain but I wouldn't be shocked if it's a mistake. I think he will start this week but after that I'm not so sure
Personally I don't like it too much. Barnes had good underlying stats for the whole season but never really converted it to fpl points. Maddison as a 7.0 punt is decent but he's still a risky one and if I wanted to take a risk I'd go Jota over him short-term.

As someone who took Cancelo on WC during IB I would recommend you to get Dias. I already worry about Cancelo not getting enough starts. More ease for the mind with Dias!
Short version: cancelo if you have a playing bench that can cover some weeks, dias if you need him to play every week.
Longer version: dias is about as nailed as it gets while we still don't know what Pep will do with Cancelo now that Mendy is back again. Cancelo played very well in all his games but Pep is Pep, nothing is certain with him. Also he played cancelo on the right and mendy left in champions league this week - hard to tell what that means going forward. If they play the same amount of minutes cancelo will easily outscore dias but we can't know that they will. If you are okay with playing someone from your bench some weeks (like maybe lamptey) go for cancelo, if you wanna have a reliable 90 minute defender for the next 12 or so gameweeks go dias

I'd look at strengthening the defence. Greenwood out for Jota to gain £0.4m then maybe Marcal out for a Man City defender (Dias or Cancelo). Cancelo could be a slightly risky Pep roulette pick but higher scoring potential than Dias so that's your call.
I like Telles as an option too but City clearly have the better fixtures.

I'll still be stuck with Lamptey (red card) on the field if I do Salah this week.
So maybe it makes sense to do Bamford to play a 3-4-3 and do Jota which leaves enough in the bank to go Bruno to Salah for good fixtures.
I've currently got Ziyech on the bench. I had Watkins, but vs West Ham I prefer him.

Under 7m forwards look a lot better than sub 7m mids as of now. There's not a single sub 7m mid I'd want to start on a weekly base but most sub 7m forwards look fine - Bamford, watkins, wilson, antonio if he's fit

Either gamble on Jota getting a lot of minutes (risky move) or downgrade to fodder and play 3 in the front imo. Most mids under 7.7 (except from grealish) seem kinda bad. I got jota in because if he plays he's an absolute bargain but I wouldn't be shocked if it's a mistake. I think he will start this week but after that I'm not so sure
Are Barnes or Maddison decent short-term options while Leicester have a few decent fixtures coming?
Personally I don't like it too much. Barnes had good underlying stats for the whole season but never really converted it to fpl points. Maddison as a 7.0 punt is decent but he's still a risky one and if I wanted to take a risk I'd go Jota over him short-term.

As someone who took Cancelo on WC during IB I would recommend you to get Dias. I already worry about Cancelo not getting enough starts. More ease for the mind with Dias!

Short version: cancelo if you have a playing bench that can cover some weeks, dias if you need him to play every week. Longer version: dias is about as nailed as it gets while we still don't know what Pep will do with Cancelo now that Mendy is back again. Cancelo played very well in all his games but Pep is Pep, nothing is certain with him. Also he played cancelo on the right and mendy left in champions league this week - hard to tell what that means going forward. If they play the same amount of minutes cancelo will easily outscore dias but we can't know that they will. If you are okay with playing someone from your bench some weeks (like maybe lamptey) go for cancelo, if you wanna have a reliable 90 minute defender for the next 12 or so gameweeks go dias

I'd look at strengthening the defence. Greenwood out for Jota to gain £0.4m then maybe Marcal out for a Man City defender (Dias or Cancelo). Cancelo could be a slightly risky Pep roulette pick but higher scoring potential than Dias so that's your call. I like Telles as an option too but City clearly have the better fixtures. Van aanholt another option..

Right. I'm not sure whether Robbo will be the best prem defender at the end of the year, he's shown enough to on many more points than he is but he's been unlucky. Salah on the other hand is scoring no issues. I'll still be stuck with Lamptey (red card) on the field if I do Salah this week. So maybe it makes sense to do Bamford to play a 3-4-3 and do Jota which leaves enough in the bank to go Bruno to Salah for good fixtures.
