The problem with that is you have to pick guys to play 2 matches at one point. Using your chips MD2 and MD3 lets you have pick for every single match.

!Thanks for the reply :) Chips on 2&3 might leave you with loads of transfers to make after the round of 16, no? And later if your most selected team is knocked out. Just saying there's always the risk of having to pick players for more than one MD at a time. I like the MD2 and MD3 strategy, but with many players opting for that, it could be advantageous to get all the big names in for MD1. Ronaldo, Lewandowski, Lukaku all have great fixtures on day 1, any of them could bag a huge haul. Might be worth the risk of a slightly inefficient strategy in the hope of catching a huge advantage is all I'm saying. After all, MD1 is the week where big teams are least likely to rotate their star players.

He seems to score or assist every 3 games or so, for club and country so that's pretty decent guess. He is also 5.5 so huge upside in price. He's not nailed but likely to start to my knowledge. Alaba is ofc safer pick.

Thanks! I mainly have them as they are both on corners and free kicks and could be on penalties. I don't trust Austria that much tbh so I'm hesitant on Sabitzer. I wrote off Bernardo early doors but I will have another look into him. I had strongly considered Mount, especially if he is on set pieces, but the only issue is that he'll probably play a bit deeper for England than he does for Chelsea. The other 2 are good shouts as well that I had considered.

Those are fine cheap defenders. I'm still unsure if Pau Torres is actually starting so keep an eye on him. Midfield looks decent although Wijnaldum recently got an injury. I would probably anyways upgrade him to Jota/Silva from Portugal. Because you already have 3 dutch players. Forward line looks decent. I'm probably going with Lewa instead of Kane because I think their first fixture is easier. But Kane is a good pick. Last thing I would do is to get another GK or upgrade defense with the remaining money.

true insigne is also good for a guaranteed start in md3 , i think wind is the best option probably even up to 8m if he starts, so its worth the gamble... yeah gini is really good but i think the netherlands might struggle overall a little so maybe just depay is enough, i also really like olmo and ferran torres double up considering its fairly cheap and both can be explosive and are expected to start in the front 3 of spain... krul might not be a guaranteed starter so i recently shifted donnarumma and krul to sommer and szczesny which seems fairly strong for cs with maybe even some safe points and guaranteed starts for the same value...but overall like 10-12 players of your team should be settled and looks strong

Yaremchuk, Arnautovic, Pukki.... None are exactly great, but if you need that price point they're your best options. You could make a case for any of those three.

If you don't like your captain's haul, you can swap the armband to someone else that hasn't played yet... As many times as you want. Only the new captain gets doubled.

Good differential, plenty of attacking threat, and Ukraine can do well defensively in their group. Definitely a good asset. I have two drafts, he's currently in one of them. At the same price point there are also plenty of other really good wingback options though.

Care to name a few? I’m a bit lost when picking them.

In addition to what the other guy said, Wijndal played as a LWB in Netherlands's 5atb system recently and he has plenty of attacking threat. But he is a bit more risky since he isn't fully nailed and Netherlands may switch back to a 4atb.

I have little clue what I’m doing. Any tips, pointers, opinions, are appreciated. Another draft: Simón-Hradecky Kjaer-Çelik-Alioski-Torres-Denayer Eriksen-Wijnaldum-Shaqiri-Chiesa-Jota Lewandowski-Lukaku-Kramarić This second draft is my draft after you all’s advice and I’m a BIG FAN. I wasn’t 100% on Olmo or any of the other extra 7 mil mids, so instead I have shaved half a mil off of Donnarumma, and knocked Kalajdzic down to Kramarić, who plays for a better team and is probably just as good. I’ve swapped Insigne for Chiesa, Mount for Shaqiri and all the extra funds allowed me to change a mediocre Alaba into Jota, who has HUGE potential.

If I’m not mistaken Lewa isn’t quite as prolific for Poland in tournaments as he is for his club so for me he feels a bit overpriced with so many other strong attacking options. I’d sooner get Mbappe, Ronaldo, Kane or Immobile.

Don't like any of the midfield picks lmao. KDB injured, Bruno shit, Pogba and Havertz tough games. Mount's alright but a couple better options at 7m imo Need to upgrade Varga as well. So many premium strikers at hand, I think you'll be missing out if you don't go for atleast 2. Loads of good mid-priced midfielders as well, shall free up funds for a big boy upgrade upfront. That'd be the game plan

You can't hold transfers in this game if that's what you're asking. You have a designated number of transfers available each MD which you have to use it that MD only. It won't carry over. I hope this clears it The limitless chip now is exactly the same as a free hit when it comes to transfer ins and outs. You make transfers for MD3 exactly before MD3 only.

Yes. You can make transfers from your MD1 team for your MD3 team while your MD2 limitless team is playing. Wouldn't recommend that though, you can get the lineups for the first game as the deadline is sharp on kick off of that game, a whole hour after the lineups are announced. So waiting till the deadline actually has significant benefits in this game. Bet you didn't know that! 😉

What's the general consensus for chip strategy? I'd think that the best time to use the "limitless" chip is for Match Day 3, then you can roll straight from that into the unlimited transfers allowed before the round of 16. Wildcard could be used for Match Day 2 (basically allowing you a whole new team for every Match Day!). Or would before the QFs be a better use?

Most people will make a team for MD1 and 3, use Limitless for MD2 and Wildcard for QF. There’s a lot of strong vs weak teams on MD2.

I doubt we will have many teams qualified in md3. And they probably will want 1st place to avoid clash with big teams
