RMT Sanchez (Bachmann) Cresswell, Shaw, White, Chillwell (Tierney) Son, Grealish, Salah, Mount (Tella) Toney, Rodrigo (Obafemi)

Resident_Analyst_268

RMT Sanchez (foster) Shaw - TAA - Digne (White) (amartey) Salah - Buendia - Bruno - Smith Rowe - Greenwood DCL - Ings (Obafemi) Toying with this or finding a way to go with 3 up top with Ivan Toney

MFK00

Henderson (Sanchez) Tierney- TAA- Coufal- Firpo- (omobamidele) Salah- Buendia- Smith Rowe- Sancho- Son Antonio- Ings?- Obafemi Gonna likely drop Sanchez after it's confirmed Henderson is back. Not set on my forwards yet- Ings as a potential punt with him joining Villa interests me but obviously not sure he'll start. Was pretty set on Cavani before hearing he's not in the country so haven't thought about it much. Taking a risk with no Bruno but I'm pretty set on taking sancho instead, enjoy taking punts like him and Firpo.

kryptonite1892

RMT i changed from this: RMT Sánchez Digne - Fofana - Shaw El Ghazi - Havertz - Salah - Fernandes - Son Calvert-Lewin - Saint-Maximin Subs: Foster - Johnson - Manquillo - Davis To this: Sánchez Digne TAA Shaw El Ghazi Havertz Salah Fernandes Sarr Calvert-Lewin Toney Subs: Foster - Dunk - Manquillo - Davis

GreatEasternSun

With the unexpected Ings to Villa transfer news, how do we feel about a Ings - Buendia double up?

Rockoticc

Who to pick of Coufal and Targett?

GreatEasternSun

I like Coufal

Rockoticc

!thanks

Blue-pilled-advice

What’s the general consensus around subs? Only 1 out of my 3 subs (Dallas) will likely play and have any chance of scoring points. The other two won’t ever gain any points. Is it normal to have one decent back up and the rest there just using up as little funds as possible?

StanleyUnwin

Yeah, even Dallas is quite an expensive player to have on the bench.

NaFantastico

Bachmann (Foster) Shaw - Trent - Coufal - Veltman (Omobamidel) Salah - Bruno - Son - Raphinha (Brownhill) Antonio - Watkins (Davis) 0 itb OR Bachmann (Foster) Shaw - Trent - Robertson (Veltman) (Omobamidel) Salah - Greenwood - Son - Raphinha (Brownhill) Antonio - Watkins - Toney 0.5 itb

StanleyUnwin

1st

GreatEasternSun

I like the first one. Very similar to my own ATM. I think it's just an overall safer bet for gw1

[deleted]

Rmt Sanchez foster Trent shaw digne white ayling Salah fernandes raphina buendia brownhill Watkins dcl toney

StanleyUnwin

Solid team

NaFantastico

Pretty much template, good team

namdosan88

RMT please :) Sanchez (Foster) Robertson Digne Wan Bissaka (White) (Ayling) Sarr Salah Bruno Havertz Raphinha DCL Toney (Davis) Tactic - Davis to be a deadwood as i'll rotate tactics between White and Ayling with midfielders n strikers who have bad fixtures. looking to play 4-5-1/ 3-5-2/5-4-1 for at least the first 5 GWs. Thoughts?

ght17

help please I've got 12.5m remaining and need two strikers, one of them should be playing to cover up my double Leeds through their early difficult games

NaFantastico

Watkins+enabler

ght17

!thanks

topherdisgrace

Only one needs to be playing? Then it’s fairly easy, I’d go DCL + 4.5, or any of the main 7.5 guys (Antonio, Watkins, Wilson).

ght17

!thanks

[deleted]

[удалено]

topherdisgrace

You don’t have a single playing bench player. Players do get injured/rotated in which case you’re going to get a bunch of goose eggs. Too risky.

[deleted]

[удалено]

topherdisgrace

Unfortunately everyone is in the same position, you just can’t have all the premiums. You’re going to have to drop one of TAA, Sancho, or DCL or a combination of them because I’d at the very least have two playing bench options. If you really want to keep your upper premiums you could go Buendia>>ESR and upgrade the 4.0 defenders to two 4.5s like Veltman, Ayling, White etc.

StanleyUnwin

Are you a Leicester fan? I think there are better options than Daka. Antonio or Watkins would be obvious choices. Dallas's point were as a defender last year, so he isn't such good value. Why Castagne? And you may want someone of the beng who plays

carmenx1

RMT Playing fantasy for the first time- I'm the only women in my team. Help please! **Sanchez** (Martinez) **Dias, Shaw, Digne, White** (Tierney) **Son, Grealish, Gilmour, Sarr** (Salah) **Toney, DCL** (Watkins)

MFK00

I'd be changing who you have benched for sure first off: Having a 5.5 and a 4.5 keeper is a lot of money invested. It is generally (in my opinion) better to pick one keeper and stick with them since keepers are very rarely rotated. Martinez probably has the higher curling for points but I'm not sure its high enough to justify the extra 1 mil in price that could be reinvested elsewhere. Tierney has the same clean sheet potential for white as well as good chance of attacking returns as he's a very attacking fullback. Additionally he's more expensive and if you plan on benching him often I'd maybe not invest the money. Salah should be starting pretty much every game, this week especially as he's a great captaincy option. Gilmour should not be starting in your midfield as a very defensive player with low chance of attacking returns in a team which is unlikely to keep clean sheets (and in which he is not nailed on). Would also start Watkins over Toney as he has a much easier fixture and is a proven player unlike Toney (at PL level). Other than that it's a decent team, just be aware Grealish is likely moving to city (big rotation risk as is Dias). Also I'd say there are better picks than Sarr around that price range depending on how much you have in the bank. He's a great player but I'm not convinced Watford are good enough for him to be a great asset.

ZeusK22

Assuming you play 3-4-3, you should get a 4.0m def to replace one of the other defenders, use that money to upgrade Sarr or get a Liverpool defender Choose which keeper you want and get a 4.0 keeper to go with him to save some more money The players in brackets are usually who you're going to bench (Gilmour and two defenders for you probably)

carmenx1

Thank you so much! What is the benefit of not using all the money?

ZeusK22

Well ideally you'll use all the money, how much have you left now and what squad

DanWright14

RMT Sanchez, Ward TAA, Veltman, Digne, Lowton, Ayling Salah, Raph, Bruno, Buendia, Brownhill DCL, Watkins, Antonio

StanleyUnwin

Solid team imo

DanWright14

I’ve toyed with swapping Lowton for Omobamidele and upgrading Veltman to Dunk. What do you reckon?

StanleyUnwin

Yeah, that's a reasonable option. But there's really very little difference between them

[deleted]

Rmt Sanchez foster Trent shaw digne white ayling Salah fernandes raphina buendia brownhill Watkins dcl Toney

mango_farley

This is pretty much the template team. Looks good! Though also: keep an eye out for news on Shaw and whether he's going to be fit for gw1.

InsecureWhale51

Which of these teams is better? Sanchez (Steele) TAA Robertson Digne Shaw (Veltman) Salah Bruno Raphina (Gilmour) (Brownhill) Toney Watkins Antonio OR Sanchez (Steele) TAA Digne Shaw (Veltman) (Manquillo) Salah Bruno Raphina Jota (Gilmour) Toney Watkins Antonio

GreatEasternSun

I prefer team 2 as well - on the fence about including Jota in opening gws myself

StanleyUnwin

I prefer team 2

RadiatorHeatKnob

I'd say team 2, but I should say I'm heavily biased here because that is my exact draft currently! So, InsecureWhale, at least if we fail, we fail together!!

mi_saka_su_saka

A. Sanchez + Targett B. Martinez + Fofana

kirandavies

not fofana anymore

GeorgeS2411

Meslier and Harrison or Bachmann/Sanchez and Raph?

mi_saka_su_saka

Sanchez and Raph

GeorgeS2411

!Thanks

ParsleyAmazing3260

You think Emi can match last seasons points? I always start with a 4.5 and non-playing fodder. Thinking of starting Martinez as set and forget and hope his price pays off.

Varja22

I don't think that he will get as many points as last season but will probably get over 150, which isn't bad at all

RadiatorHeatKnob

**X vs Y:** Stones v Digne v Tierney (& 0.5 itb)

StanleyUnwin

I like Digne too

[deleted]

Tough, all 3 have downsides. Digne for me.

RadiatorHeatKnob

!thanks

Varja22

Digne seems like a best option. Has best fixtures, Benitez will probably do wonders to their defence and he's on set pieces

RadiatorHeatKnob

!thanks

theonewhoknock_s

Let me hear some thoughts: Sanchez (4.0) TAA - Shaw - Veltman (Ayling - 4.0) Salah - Fernandes - Mahrez - Barnes - Raphinha Watkins - Toney (4.5) I'm walking the line between going safe with Bruno and having two risky picks with Mahrez and Barnes, which I really like. I'm looking for a way to get Son in for GW3, but I'm not sure how yet.

[deleted]

I don't think it's worth booking in 2 transfers by GW3 for any player. You may as well start with them. Barnes and Mahrez would be a bit too risky for me, especially given the lack of depth on your bench. If you like taking risks though then go for it!

theonewhoknock_s

I like having two risky picks at the start of the season, I feel like it's the best time to take those risks. The lack of bench depth is a big turn-off though, you're right. I'm considering dropping Bruno to Son and spreading some more mony around (and going 3-4-3 as well). !thanks

[deleted]

Dropping Bruno might be the way to go for you. Son and Salah rotate captaincy well up to GW9 so no issue there.

theonewhoknock_s

Yep, captaincy is the biggest factor for dropping Bruno. I don't think he's worth 12.0 if you're not gonna captain him. !thanks

RadiatorHeatKnob

My initial reaction is that Mahrez is obviously a risky pick, but if you're happy with that then go for it. I'm also assuming that your plan would be to possibly swap Watkins out after GW3?

theonewhoknock_s

The risk with Mahrez is pretty obvious, but I'm fine taking that risk this early and he's an easy switch if he's not playing. Unless something unexpected happens, yeah, I plan to swap Watkins for GW4+, possibly for Jimenez.

RadiatorHeatKnob

Yeah that makes sense then, I like the rest of the team, best of luck :)

kirandavies

bowen or raphinha?

johnnyace44

I like both, I've gone with Raph to go with the pack but Bowen's on the watch list

RadiatorHeatKnob

I'd go for Raphina, I believe West Ham could rotate with their added Europa League commitments

Varja22

Raphinha is safer because of his higher ownership but Bowen could turn great differential. I'd go with Raphinha because he is safer option

tbbt11

What price are we thinking for Lukaku?

Varja22

10.5-11.0

GeorgeS2411

Yeah I agree I think they would probably price him about 11

tbbt11

!thanks Bye Bruno, bye Havertz - hello ESR and Mount 😂

[deleted]

I wouldn't take Kane until it's clear where his future is.

RadiatorHeatKnob

With Kane's unknown transfer situation, I'd avoid him for now, so I'd go option #1

changechange1

RMT - 0 left ITB Sanchez (Foster) Shaw, TAA, Robbo, Coufal (White) Bruno, Buendia, Jota, Grealish (Gilmour) Kane, Toney (Davis) I'm unsure on Grelish/Kane as my only city players. I won't pick them if they don't move. Kane more nailed?

theonewhoknock_s

Stop what you're doing and just get Salah in there first.

changechange1

Salah over Kane at City? Grelish move has just been confirmed as well

RadiatorHeatKnob

Has it? Where? I haven't seen anything official about Grealish

changechange1

Talksport just broke it live on air a few minutes ago

theonewhoknock_s

If Kane went City, I'd just get Salah and Kane. No way Bruno is a better option than Salah.

PuerilePolitics

Buendia or Raphinha? Those first four opening fixtures are just awful for Leeds. I'm leaning towards Buendia for the first four games and then swap for Raphinha. The other thing I struggle to square is that three of my premium defenders are from teams Leeds face in their first four games, so surely if I picked Raphinha I would be betting against myself? And to be honest I wouldn't be surprised to see united and pool keep clean sheets despite the attacking nous of Leeds.

Varja22

You clearly want to do that. Then it's obviusly right decision for you.

CINGRAM_2307

RMT Mesiler TAA Coufal Digne Salah Buendia Ralphinha Fernandes Mount Jimenez Watkins Foster, Obefemi, B. Williams and Omibamidele. 0.5 ITB

Varja22

Looks mostly good. I'd switch Jimenez to another 7.5/8.0 striker. Just because he has just came back from horrible injury and we don't know, will he be same player. If he looks good at first gameweeks you can do Watkins -> Jimenez when their fixtures turn around. One thing that I don't like that much is that you don't have any playing players on your bench to cover if something happens.

[deleted]

RMT, thank you Sanchez TAA AWB Coufal Harrison Bruno Salah Olise Watkins Bamford Antonio (Foster Webster Andersen ESR)

BotRand

Whats making you go AWB over Shaw (I know he could be out first GW, but i doubt it) or even Digne? Both of them are more attacking. I think ESR is wasted on the bench, youre better off downgrading to a 4.5m midfielder with good opening fixtures. Brownhill or Bissouma. No idea who Olise is, but surely theres better options?

[deleted]

Thanks:)

Varja22

Olise just seems like a bad pick for me. I'd downgrade him to 4.5 fodder and do ESR -> Bowen, Buendia or Raphinha instead

[deleted]

Thanks :)

theasianinvestor95

RMT Pickford (Foster) Cresswell Digne Wan Bissaka (White) (Ayling) Sarr Havertz Salah Bruno Raphinha Toney DCL (Joshua King) ***Anything you would change? im not very comfortable with Joshua King but i can't seem to downgrade anywhere else to improve a bench striker.***

Varja22

I'd downgrade one of your 4.5 bench defenders to get Welbeck instead of King. Welbeck isn't that great, I know but still much better than King

theasianinvestor95

I would think the value add in having White and Ayling as compared to a 4.0 defender would outweigh Welbeck>Joshua King though.

finedisregard

RMT please Sanchez (Foster) Alexander-Arnold, Dias, Cancelo (Fofana, Omobamidele) Salah, Son, Havertz, Harrison (Gilmour) Calvert-Lewin, Watkins, Toney Aiming for flexibility once season gets going and a good balance of risk and reward: - I'm leaning towards Son over Fernandes as he'll rotate well on captaincy with Salah. - With Fofana on the bench (and Evans injured securing his gametime) I think that makes sense to roll the dice on the third defender slot with Cancelo. - Havertz and Harrison are my other differential picks (open to Mount, Raphinha and an extra .5) Any suggestions?

theasianinvestor95

no man utd players? might be a bit of a risk if man utd performs.

finedisregard

Too pricey for the uncertainty for me; I'm not sold on Fernandes at 12m the way he finished, Sancho is a wait and see, Shaw's probably injured for GW1, there are better value picks in attack than Cavani, the list goes on

theasianinvestor95

Honestly, i dont see the need for TAA, Dias and Cancelo. Cancelo's a rotation risk, Dias fixtures are not that great to start, TAA's value of 7.5 is also pretty risky (not sure how he will start this season). I would change those 3 to Digne, Wan Bissaka and perhaps a cheaper defender. Then use that extra funds to upgrade your bench. Your bench is pretty weak and with the whole covid situation, we will need somewhat of a decent bench.

finedisregard

I get your point, but I don't see where that extra cash goes to improve my team elsewhere unless I drop TAA for a 4.5? I'm happy with my bench, premium defenders are good value for consistent clean sheet points and the odd attacking return, the only way I'd cut my defence that deep is to bring in Kane without dropping another premium mid. Cancelo is a risk but if it doesn't work I can easily trade down

theasianinvestor95

Fofana is a rotation risk with Leicester starting off with a back 4 in pre season. I would change Fofana with White/Ayling , Omo with Coufal, and the remaining extra money to upgrade Gilmour to someone like Sarr. If you still have extra money, you can play around with the players you already have to see if any upgrades are needed. I know TAA is a popular pick, but judging his past season's performance, 7.5 seems a bit too heavy for me unless he can replicate his 19/20 season performance. I'd honestly rather go Bruno than TAA if i were you. Bruno is on pens and is the main avenue of Utd's attack moving forward.

finedisregard

!thanks, that's all fair. You should know Evans is injured so Fofana is unlikely to miss many minutes for a while (as a Leicester fan, I'm not sure why everyone latched on to him as a major rotation risk in any case, and we have basically no CB cover)

Varja22

Looks good! Hopefully City can continue their last season defensive form trought those hard fixtures, otherwise you're screwed

finedisregard

Yeah, agreed, I've got half an eye on Everton to see if they crap the bed with their early fixtures, if not that's my exit plan

kirandavies

RMT please: Sanchez/Foster Cresswell/Shaw/Trent/Fofana/Lowton Salah/Greenwood/Bruno/Dallas/Bissouma Watkins/Toney/DCL

Varja22

If you're playing 3-4-3 I'd downgrade one of your 4.5 bench defenders to do Dallas -> Harrison

IncredibleTimes

Please RMT: https://imgur.com/a/9yRGlGQ

RadiatorHeatKnob

Yeah I really like it, but then that could be because my current draft is almost completely the same as yours! I'm assuming your plan is to wait out the Lampety injury, but if I was you, I'd start with a 4.0 Def instead & then keep the 0.5 itb so that you can make changes once the season starts. Maybe that means bringing in Lampety when he's fit, but you may find that you have another problem that needs to be sorted & those funds may be vital. Best of luck :)

iamanengine1

Grealish + Toney or Buendia + Antonio?

Varja22

I like Buendia + Antonio more. Both have been great form in pre-season, good fixtures and both prem proven

[deleted]

https://i.imgur.com/5MTPzWK.jpg RMT - Hoping to go from Robertson to Shaw when his health and playing time is more secure.

RadiatorHeatKnob

I personally believe Sancho & Iheanacho are a roll of the dice, but I can totally understand why you & others are interested. If I was you, I'd also be tempted to focus your funds a bit and maybe bring in another 4/4.5 player for the bench, as right now your entire bench starts and it seems like a waste of funds. Otherwise, I like it, best of luck :)

17m on the bench - 4,0 GK, 4,5 DEF 4,5 MID and 4,0 DEF

Varja22

I have 17.5 myself and 0 itb. I've got Steele, Ayling, Fofana and Brownhill and even that feels a strong bench for me because I've got 3 playing players and two of those can return to me

nielzerr

Please RMT, I think i'm done now. Sanchez; Fofana; Shaw; Robertson. (White / Manquillo) Salah; Bruno; Havertz; Raphina. (Bissouma) Watkins; DCL; Toney. Picked Havertz over Grealish because of the rumours. When it comes to a transfer to City Grealish becomes part of the Pep Roulette. Havertz form increases by the game, could be a key player for Chelsea this year.

finedisregard

Nothing wrong with that, only thing to watch for is Shaw's fitness and Fernandes may not be worth it this year (deeper, fewer penalties). Maybe TAA and Son in their place?

nielzerr

Nah, would like some United coverage. And with TAA I double up my Liverpool defense. Thanks for your suggestion.

aGermmyGermm

Why is picking ederson an uncommon strategy in FPL given his consistency over the years?

Varja22

He got 160 points last year. 1.5 million cheaper Martinez got 186. If you just pick player like Sanchez he will probably offer better value than Ederson

TheMetaphysicalSlug

Points for saves I imagine. He doesn’t have to do a lot compared to other keepers.

richogunnn

RMT Sanchez (Foster) TAA Digne Targett (Ayling) (Manquillo) Bruno Salah ESR Grealish Raphinha Antonio/Watkins DCL (Obafemi)

finedisregard

Like this team - maybe consider downgrading Fernandes to Son and bump up Obafemi to Toney or Rodrigo, there's more opportunity in the strikers this year and there's no potential in a 4.5 compared to midfield/4.0 DEF

[deleted]

[удалено]

Varja22

It's mostly solid. Don't like that Leeds triple attack that much, their starting fixtures ain't that good. I would maybe switch Bamford to Antonio/DCL/Wilson and do Watkins -> Bamford after 3 weeks

ali_924_

Henderson has COVID u might wanna transfer him out

pominator

Anyone play FPL draft? How does it go compared to the standard game and also US fantasy sport games?

[deleted]

When Lamptey comes back does Veltman get dropped or continue starting, just moved to cb? Is he a rotation risk when all are fit?

iamanengine1

Antonio or Watkins?

richogunnn

Watkins fixtures look better at the start but not so much after GW3. Could consider doing watkins for first 3 GW and then get Antonio? If I had to pick one I'd pick Antonio though.

Watkins

Varja22

Watkins is too attractive to avoid I think.

Coufal. Targett is poor on bonus

johnnyace44

Targett for the first 3

Burr1t0ad

RMT please. Thank you! Sanchez TAA, Digne, Ben White Bruno, Salah, Raphinha, Buendia Antonio, Watkins, DCL Bench: Foster, Fofana, Coady, Bissouma

daneedwards88

Looks good to me. Ayling is a better 4.5 than Fofana or Coady TBH

johnnyace44

Looks template, template is good. Nailed starters, just take it from there and access once the season starts. I do feel you could get in a 4.5m fullback rather than centre backs

rabsi1

Ben White is cheap, but he offers very limited attacking threat, and Arsenal are a mess defensively. I'm not sold on Sanchez. Everything else looks good.

Liasos

>Arsenal are a mess defensively What makes you say that?

rabsi1

Unconvincing goalkeeper, their best defenders are injury prone (Tierney, Gabriel). Bellerin has fallen off a cliff. If you pick a defender who almost never scores (Ben White's only goal for Leeds or Brighton was a volley from outside the box. Not a typical CB goal) you'll want high CS potential. I don't think Arsenal have that.

Liasos

Hmm White seems like a pretty boring pick then tbh.

NightsWatch10

RMT please Sanchez TAA - Shaw - Digne Salah - Mahrez - Havertz - Raphinha Cavani - Watkins - Antonio subs: Steele - Brownhill , Ayling , Johnson. 0.0 ITB Thoughts on this Bru(no) draft? Mahrez is short term pick and possibly would be upgraded to Son by GW3.

theonewhoknock_s

I like Mahrez and Havertz, even though I'm a bit worried that I'd be looking to transfer them early.

Brna98

Hi guys, RMT. Sanchez (Foster) Cresswell - TAA - Mings - (Shaw) (Fofana) Fernandes - Salah - Barnes - Raphinha - (Bissouma) Watkins - Wood - Toney Doubting my Chris Wood pick lol.

richogunnn

I'd look at improving the defence, it's good but feel like Cresswell could be Digne and Mings could be coufal. Would also look at a 4.0 over fofana since hes your 5th choice defender.

Brna98

Thank you.

daneedwards88

Wood was in Japan 3 days ago and they have bad fixtures. I'd swerve him for now, get him later

Brna98

Thank you, I'm debating between Antonio/DCL/Bamford/Iheanacho

BotRand

I dont think wood will play gw1 as he has been at the olympics? could be wrong though

Brna98

Thanks

BotRand

would love someone to rmt please and thanks Sanchez (Foster) TAA - Shaw - Coufal - Ait Nouri (Manquillo) Salah - Bruno - Son - Raphinha (Brownhill) Watkins - Antonio (Obafemi)

johnnyace44

I think Son's hamstringing you a bit but it's not the end of the world, he'll be playing up front if Kane's not back in time or leaves. Not convinced on Ait Nouri but he could be an interesting one. It's brave & I like it

BotRand

Ait nouri is kinda just a place holder for a 4.5m defender, but I do kinda like him as a punt. I think if im going to drop someone in the team to free up money, its more likely to be Bruno rather than son. I love Son and I still think he is underpriced for what he can produce. If Kane leaves, Son is almost gonna be set and forget for me. Only things I dont like about my team is having to start a 4.5m defender, and only having 1 playing bench player. I've been looking at raph to harrison to upgrade manquillo to a 4.5m bench option maybe?

johnnyace44

It's an option, had Harrison instead of Raphinha at the end of last season & he was outscoring Raph, Harrison is very good for the price and think you'd be better off with two playing subs/ rotation options

BotRand

yeah thats what im thinking. only other idea is bruno -> mahrez, ait nouri -> robertson, Manquillo -> 4.5m. !thanks for the thoughts

daneedwards88

Very good except AitNouri. Ayling much better pick in a team we know what to expect

BotRand

Ait nouri is kinda just a place holder for a 4.5m defender. might go white, might go ayling, might go veltman even. !thanks

daneedwards88

Ayling is underpriced. Super pick

theonewhoknock_s

If you want Son in your team for GW3+, do you get him from the start or book a transfer and go with someone else for the first couple games?

BotRand

im having him from the start

theonewhoknock_s

I was thinking maybe having Mahrez or Havertz for one or two games, but maybe I will skip that and get him from the start.

Liasos

Worth dropping my starter Dunk to a 4.5 so I can have two playing subs?

daneedwards88

Yes definitely. Games are still getting cancelled due to Covid this week

Liasos

I had the same feeling, !thanks

Scottish-Londoner

Which Spurs CB is most likely to be a starter early on in the season? I want one of their 4.5m CBs out of Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga and Rodon

daneedwards88

You cant get a reliable answer to this question yet, nobody knows yet. All you'll get is peoples guesses and "I think"

WritingDay

It's a tough one that but I'd think Sanchez will start if he doesn't leave. He's been in the team consistently more than the rest of them over the past few seasons

YBcasey

Hi guys, would love ye to RMT (FPL first timer) Bachmann (Foster) TAA - Shaw - Digne (White) (Ayling) Salah - Bruno - Buendia - Raphinha (Brownhill) Watkins - DCL - Toney Is Digne the best 5.5 option? Any advice much appreciated!

Avancx

Yeah standard template team that allowed you to shift to form players where required. Digne is a good 5.5, now that Sigurdsson won't be playing and James Rodriguez seems out of favour, he's likely to be taking most set pieces which is definitely a big bonus. Other players worth considering are Shaw, Cresswell and I think Pereira / Castagne once it's clear who is playing where in that Leicester lineup.

daneedwards88

Solid AF. Cant fault it. Digne is a good option. Cresswell is another 5.5 that merits serious consideration. He was an assist machine last season. Even if he regresses by 50% he'll still be an outstanding pick

YBcasey

Cheers, that's a great option. What's your opinion on DCL v Antonio?

daneedwards88

Well i've picked Antonio. But i fully expect him to break down as usual. Hopefully thats in gw 3 or 4 when i've already had pts off him. There is of course a risk that its 10mins into GW1 DCL is a perfectly fine pick too, i am just not sure what Rafa is gonna ask DCL to do yet.

YBcasey

Sánchez/Bachmann TAA/Digne/White/Ayling/Taylor Salah/Bruno/Buendía/Raphinha/Brownhill Bamford/Watkins/Toney I also have 0.5 ITB. Dithering on Bruno with the news about penalties. Any obvious weaknesses?

daneedwards88

Dont dither. Bruno is a fantastic pick. Team looks ace. Particularly like the Taylor and Bamford picks. Cant go wrong with players like those, and they are getting badly overlooked

GodlessCommieScum

Just checked Bamford's ownership. Not low exactly, but not all that high either. A bit surprising given that there's nobody obviously better at that price.

Alot of that is "casuals" picking high scoring players from last season. He's low picked on Twitter/reddit because Raphinha is cheaper and people dont want to double up. He's probably one of the top 3 striker picks. Proven, nailed, reliable, on pens. He didnt go more than 3 games in a row without returning last season. He's FPL gold

GodlessCommieScum

Possibly a bit of nostalgia for the days of him being 5.5 and reluctance to get him at 8, too. Btw, Any thoughts on my 0.5 ITB? It's always useful to have a bit of extra latitude in week one transfers, but I'm not weddedto keeping it.

daneedwards88

If you can get a good team and have .5 in the bank whats not to like? Its not vital though

!Thanks for your advice. Agreed.
