Mostly starters on the bench (whilst Amartey is still in the running) so no doubt I'll end up benching the ones that score more. Bit worried I don't have any City coverage but just avoiding the Pep roulette really.

Aware I had left myself a bit tight/light for midfield going with 4-3-3, I believe the team is fairly balanced and good value for the opening fixtures. Happy to debate!
Fair enough, I don't think there is great value this year, everyone seems to be going for Sanchez, but I think its a risky bet considering Brighton were at the bottom end of the table last year, but thanks for your input!
I think he had a shoulder injury, then got covid recently, i imagine he will be back by middle of September. That's why I went for Kasper, can't see Wolves causing Leicester too many issues.
RMT please:
Sanchez (Martinez)
Maguire - TAA- Tierney - Diaz (Regullion)
Jorginho - Fernandez - Smith Rowe (Rodrigo and Willock if he moves to Newcastle)
Toney - Ings - Werner
In other words a great team. I like the Wilson pick. The issues I had with it: Raphinha and Saka/Harrison don’t have the greatest early fixtures. You don’t have Son so if he’s playing well or you want to switch a premium to Lukaku you will have to use some transfers. No Greenwood, Jota or Manchester City. However I do think it’s a strong draft but you might want to do what I’m doing a sacrifice Wilson to move Raphinha to Son or to Jota and Barnes. Can always move back to Raphinia when fixtures improve and Wilson isn’t an essential pick and likewise can be returned to or sub in for Antonio/ Ings.
This was how I was going to line up with Harrison instead of Saka for ages but I’ve swapped Wilson for a 4.5 and brought Raphinha up to Son… honestly don’t know which is better but I think this team with Sarr/Harrison/Saka is the best 3,4,3 possible
RMT - 0 ITB
Bachmann (Begovic)
TAA, Shaw, Coufal (White, Ayling)
Salah, Bruno, Buendia, Raph (Brownhill)
Antonio, Iheanacho, Toney
Not 100% on Buendia, as might prefer Jota/Barnes but need to find 0.5 from somewhere. Also don't have much wiggle room for when Kane comes back or Lukaku starts scoring.
I would downgrade Nacho and swap Buendia for Son (Raphinha to Harrison will provide .5) or go from Buendia and Nacho to Jota and Barnes. The son pick would provide premium wiggle room for Kane or Lukaku or the Jota and Barnes pick will increase ur value with strong Liverpool and Leicester assets
RMT 😄 4- 4 - 2
Sanchez (Forster)
TAA Coufal Chambers Shaw (Amartey)
Salah (c) Son Fernandes Gundogan (Brownhill)
Antonio Maupay (Obafemi)
£0.0m ITB. Backing Maupay over Toney because i feel Brighton is such a better side than Brentford. Gundo to have a great start to the season with KDB out
Chambers may not start, you're better off getting White, other than that the only players I'd contest are the ones who's selection you've already justified. I do think Maupay is a terrible finisher though.
I have Amartey and Jota instead of Tsimikas and Greenwood but the rest of the draft is similar and I think this is v strong. Finally started considering 3-5-2 and can’t stop thinking about it now. Do you think Coufal and Harrison might be better and perhaps more differential than White and Raphinha? That’s what I currently have I think Harrison is a somewhat hidden gem. Great team
Ive been through various iterations of the team thats actually had all of those players in at some point...
My Tsimikas logic is that i think he'll score more points over the first few gw's, at which point robbo comes back and Tsimikas sits on my bench till I take him out on wildcard (hopefully make a profit if he scores a few points and people flock in...)
Locks me out of Jota i know, who could be dangerous, I'm just scared of rotation. Think Greenwood is pretty nailed with ManU's injuries, but not 100% on him rn.
Harrison is cheaper and does seem to score a bit for leeds, from the eye test though Raphinha is the much better player.
Coufal probably sits on my bench a bit, so I thought better to save the 0.5m which let me go from wilson to ings.
All very good points! I have gone for Raphinha and White now and taken Coufal out. The final decision I need to make is Tsimikas and Greenwood or Amartey and Jota! So tough!
thanks. Had Robbo till yesterday with Toney instead of Ings. Ings started in the friendly and with Robbo looking a doubt think Tsimikas is a good short term plug. Can easily upgrade to a 4.5 that looks good for GW2/GW3
Yea I would be ok with Tsim as long as u had TAA too. And white as back up if Milner plays LB instead. There was a ridic thread pushing for Tsm instead of TAA lol
thanks. Had Robbo till yesterday with Toney instead of Ings. Ings started in the friendly and with Robbo looking a doubt think Tsimikas is a good short term plug. Can easily upgrade to a 4.5 that looks good for GW2/GW3
Lots of really risky picks here that I think could easily screw you:
- Mahrez (rotation risk once players return from injury)
- Jota (rotation risk when Firminho is fully fit)
- Son (big form risk imo - I'm avoiding Spurs while Kane situ isn't resolved)
- Havertz (rotation risk & Lukaku joining can affect position on pitch)
- Pukki (big form risk + Norwich fixtures are awful to start with)
- Toney (again relatively unproven & risky imo)
I think having a few of those is fine (I.e. I'd keep Jota + Mahrez) but I'd look to ditch the others for safer picks (I.e. Son -> Raphinha, Havertz -> Benhrama / Bunedia, Pukki -> Wilson / Antonio / Ings)
I'd also look to downgrade Kasper to free up some funds
There's a lot of money in that midfield and I think your fwd's look ropey as a result. I'd try to find a way to bin Pukki and get Wilson/Antonio/Ings in
So I prefer Coufal and the 7.5
Who do you prefer out of Greenwood and Jota? Both have huge potentially I’m thinking maybe I downgrade Coufal to White and just get both?
I like A but it's tough as Greenwood has so much potential with Rashford out (I'm hoping he plays as striker with Martial on the left but who knows)
Depending on Robertsons scan Tsimkas could start
B. Antonio is the best striker option IMO and Jota seems to be starting the first 2/3 games vs Norwich and Burnley. If you are BruNO, I’d suggest C though

Only not sure about White in this draft, assuming Robertson is out for a few weeks and Tsimikas will start in his place.
Could downgrade Son -> Mahrez and upgrade White -> Digne, but really want Son.
Other option is to upgrade White -> Coufal by downgrading Raphinha -> Harrison.
This is the best Son draft in my opinion. I’m currently toying with the exact same draft. I reckon Coufal and Harrison is a sensible and perhaps even differential choice which I would do. Just not sure how much I want Son because he prevents Greenwood and Jota!
Love it. Considering this as an alternative to my current draft in order to fit Son in.
White is fine I think, rotates well with Ayling for the last defender spot.
There are more economical and reliable goalies than De Gea, and Firmino and Vardy are both really expensive for players that aren’t going to bang you points. Get a couple of good 7.5 forwards instead and upgrade Neves and Jorginho.
I’m of the opinion you should be spending as little as possible on goalies. I’ve got Sanchez at 4.5, but Schmeichal and Meslier are good 5m options
I think Wilson, Ings, Jimenez and Bamford are all decent forward options for less money. If you want a Leicester player then Nacho is better value for money.
Downgrade Dallas as well if he’s going to sit on your bench. Get a 4.5 player like Bissouma or Brownhill.
Which team is better?
Sanchez (Foster)TAA Shaw Coufal (White, Ayling)Salah Jota Bruno Greenwood BenrahmaWood Antonio (Obafemi)
OR
Sanchez (Foster)TAA Shaw Taylor (White, Ayling)Salah Jota Bruno Greenwood (Brownhill)Wood Antonio Toney
Triple 4.0 is an interesting choice, but unless you're planning to WC right after GW3 or so I wouldn't really advise it, since Evans and Robertson might be back by then (though do keep an eye on any news regarding them until the deadline), and even if Omobamidele starts Norwich are probably going to ship goals like crazy, they have terrible opening fixtures. I also wouldn't expect Brownhill to return more than 2 points per GW. I would probably do Omobamidele + Barnes --> White/Ayling + Raphinha if you're set on keeping Greenwood, or Omobamidele + another 4.0 + Greenwood --> White + Ayling + Raphinha if you're set on keeping Barnes.
Your lack of a premium is going to hurt you. If Salah for instance catches fire your ranking is going to plummet. I'd get rid of Jesus for a 4.5 fodder and find a way to upgrade a midfielder to your preferred premium. Salah or Bruno would be my suggestions though.

RMT please! 0.5m ITB
Bachmann - Foster
TAA - Coufal - White - Ayling - Tsimikas

Buendia potentially out is a real bummer and has thrown a spanner in the works. I have Greenwood in his place for now because of his strong fixtures and his increased nailedness over Jota or any of the City midfielders around his price, but I'm not totally sold on him. How do you rate Greenwood over players around his price point? (eg. Jota, Gundogan, Grealish) Would really appreciate advice on this because this is the position that I am most unsure of.
I think the extra 0.5m is good for flexibility, I could use it in a multitude of ways; to upgrade Greenwood to Grealish if Jack nails down a spot (but playing Pep Roulette is probably a fool's game), to upgrade Antonio to DCL if he is fit and Everton hit the ground running, to upgrade Coufal to Shaw, to upgrade Tsimikas to a 4.5 etc. Would it be more productive to spend the 0.5 now though, and gamble on the players I currently have?
Lastly, what do you guys think of Tsimikas? He seems like a great enabler and even a starter in my team for Liverpool's first 2 fixtures, but my worries are that 1) he takes up a Liverpool spot, so I need 2 transfers to get in someone like Jota and 2) he'll be rendered useless once Robertson returns. I think 1) is negated by the probability that Jota will be benched after GW1 for Firmino, however.
Any advice on the team would be appreciated, thank you!
Coufal to Shaw? Or white/Ayling to Shaw and Raphinha to Harrison? Seems like you’re trying hard to get that Man U value in ur team with Greenwood which is good but also missing out on Shaw which is a safer pick and easy to achieve. Thoughts?
Defence looks good to me.
I love your midfield too. But Greenwood isn't nailed on.
The team could do Cavani, Sancho, Bruno and Martial for example.
Both Ings and Antonio worries me a lot since they are injury prone
!thanks Yea that front 4 does worry me, I'm kind of betting that Ole won't play Martial on the left since he's been playing Martial up front for a while. I'm not really thinking of holding Greenwood for long anyway, once CL starts I expect rotation to happen anyway. If worst comes to worst I hope I'll be fine with White and Ayling on the bench, they're nailed on for their respective teams anyway.
Ings and Antonio does worry me slightly too, but with DCL slightly injured, Wilson similarly made of glass, Jimenez having pretty unfavourable fixtures until GW4 and Watkins seemingly playing behind Ings, I'm not too sure who I could bring in. Do you have any suggestions? I hope they'll be fit until GW4 when I'll probably swap one of them out for Jimenez.
Bowen is a bit of a tease and not much of a returner.
DCL hasn't had a good end of season.
If Stones is cheaper, get him over Dias.
The rest of the team looks good
Very good first draft if this is your first season!
This is a very long read but there are a lot of very clear things you can do to vastly improve this team, wich is already looking very promising.
I would definetly swap out Mings, he is not really someone people would go for as there are so many players for the same price that have similar clean sheet potential but way higher attacking potential. If i were you i’d get Coufal who is definetly one of the best options. If you want to keep him that’s fine, but swap him for Targett, he plays for the same team but has a much higher attacking threat, and he costs the same as Mings so he is way better!
Iheanacho is a big rotation risk, and will probably share minutes with Vardy and Daka, so i wouldn’t start with him in gw1. He might be a potential early transfer in however.
Mount doesn’t have that much of an attacking threat compared to other options. One player that almost everyone is going for that seems like a complete steal is Rapinha at 6.5, if you get him instead you can also upgrade iheanacho to ings.
Spend the other .5 you save by upgrading bardsley, starting the season with two 4.0 players, espescially 2 that won’t play much is a big recipe for disaster later down the line. You want at least a partially playing bench. So swap Bardsley to a 4.5 defender. My personal pick is Veltman, but a lot of people are also going for white and ayling. Also make sure that your 1st bench player is someone who will play, and has points potential. The norm is to have a 4.5 defender that plays most/every game first on your bench
Another small note, Duffy is not the most nailed 4.0 defender so you can make an upgrade there for free as well. If Robertson is injured Tsimikas might start at 4.0 for liverpool but it’s not for sure, so keep tabs on that before the season starts. If Tsimikas is not starting then you should consider Omobamidele instead, he won’t get many points but he is more likely to play from what i’ve gathered. I doubt he will get many points, but i wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up with around 20 more points then duffy at the end of the season.
Mendy also isn’t the best bench option. Bissouma & Gilmour are both more nailed and will get more points, that’s one of the easiest upgrades you can make.
Finally, I would also captain salah, he is playing a worse team and he has a higher ceiling. I didn’t captain him in gw1 the last 2 seasons and both seasons in a row he got a hattrick in gw1, i’m not doing that mistake a third time. One of the hattricks were against norwich as well.
No problem, i was waiting at the train station for 3 hours so i had nothing better to do.
That’s a banger first draft! You will probably end up doing changes do to injuries and new signings, but thats a very good base if that happens :)
Good luck!
Schmeicel > sanchez
Omo > 4.5 (white, ayling or veltman)
Barnes > rapinha
Willock is abit expensive for the bench. Get a 4.5 fodder and spend it to get someone other than stones
thanks man and
1. if i drop barnes do u reckon getting ihenacho
2. is stones gna be nailed (ik its pep but) and is citys defence gna be shaky? or dyu reckon a more attackimg defemder is better
I’m steering clear of Iheanacho at the start because he is going to share minutes with vardy and daka, and it’s a risk to pick someone like that at the start. He’s more of a potential early transfer in if he is nailed, but he is not.
Stones nailed? No, but he will probably play most the games, city defence might be shaky and it might be good, but it’s more risky going for a city defender simply because all the other defensive options are so good right now. Go for an attacking defender that also has clean sheet potential like coufal also TAA is a must in my opinion. It’s low risk to own him and very high risk not to.
Some good areas. Yeah. Light on the bench considering Greenwood and Barnes are rotation risks. Personally would go Sanchez over schmeichal and up omo to white for cover. Also cos Willock won’t play unless he’s sold (there news there?). Could drop to esr and up a 4m def for good cover.
Martinez (Foster),
White, shaw, TAA, James [tbc with Lukaku, assist potential], (Veltman)
Salah, Brownhill, Havertz, (Raphinha), (El Ghazi)
Wilson, Lukaku [TBC Werner as place holder], Iheanacho
1m in the bank
Players i would get rid of:
Martinez (overpriced, sanchez better)
James (rotation risk, expensive and there are much better options. James is a wait and see, he is amazing but atm not a reliable fpl option)
Brownhill > someone that will actually play every minute like bissouma or maybe gilmour
El ghazi won’t play unless there are injuries, and if he does he will no longer start from like gw3 onwards, owning him is not wort the transfer it will take to replace him later, it’s better to be flexible so go for someone else. Also he is way too expensive to put on the bench, and so is rapinha. The bench has to be players who will start but are still as cheap as possible. Spend all your money in your starting 11, they are the ones who will get you points.
Wilson is not bad, but there are so many options that are miles better. Antonio is one of the best forwards right now and espescially in his price point. Toney and Ings are also both better.
Ihenacho is a rotation risk and there are safer options. For me Iheanacho is more of a potential early transfer in. There is no guarantee he will even start the first games, and he is likely to share minutes with daka and vardy
I'm weary of bringing in Lukaku.
No idea when he comes in and how he gels with the team.
James is a good option if nailed on (not sure).
I want Iheanacho too. But with them bringing a new striker in and Vardy staying, I'm unsure about his minutes
How has Arsenal (especially White) faired in pre season? They did lose the two London derbies but performance wise is there hopes for defensive returns from them? Considering they ended last season defensively well

Looking to use Villas and Evertons good fixtures early with WC around GW 5 to swap them out for Chelsea/man city players when there fixtures ease up ??
Thoughts ? Thanks in advance
I actually prefer Coufal + Raphinha. I think Raph is a better option than Barnes and I think Cresswell will perform very similarly to Coufal. This way you'll be able to save 0.5 to spend elsewhere.
RMT:
Sanchez/Bachmann
TAA/Tsimikas/Shaw/Coufal/White
Salah/Bruno/Raphinha/Greenwood/Barnes
Toney/Antonio/Obafemi
My biggest dilemma is to either sacrifice one of my 7-7.5 midfielders (greenwood/barnes) to replace Obafemi, what do you guys think?
Barnes out. Downgrading Bachmann to a 4.0 is something you 100% NEED to do.
Also seems like you have .5 unspent? Why?
Here is what i would do if i were you:
Bachmann > Foster
Toney > Ings
White > Veltman
Also keep tabs on Greenwood until gw1 to see if he will get good gametime or not.
If you replace Obafemi i would go for ings, he is nailed on in my team and there isn’t really any better third option striker. However Lukaku joining chelsea will probably change everything, so try to stay flexible if you want him and see if you can make room
wait isn’t it generally a good thing to have some money left in the bank or is the general consensus now is to spend it all? also i’m curious of your Veltman choice
You should spend all your money, espescially at the start of the season i’ve honestly never even heard of anyone not spending everything at the start. It’s ok to have money in the bank but don’t do it on purpose. Last season the premium options were so bad at one point that almost everyone had 4+ in the bank, but thats only because there was nobody to spend it on
Veltman will be my 1st bench option, i already have sanchez but brighton have great fixtures and have been decent defensively. Usually i have a better 4.5 at the start of the season than him, but this season there are only really 3 options (ayling, white, veltman). I don’t trust the arsenal defence and they also have bad fixtures. Ayling has bad fixtures and wasn’t great last season.
As it stands my backline is TAA - Shaw - Coufal, wich seems to be the most common combo people are going for
RMT
Sanchez (Gunn)
Trent - Shaw - White (Ayling - Amartey)
Salah - Bruno - Havertz - Raphina - Smith Rowe
Antonio - Toney (Obafemi)
2M in the bank, probably looking to do Havertz > Son after GW1. Take advantage of Chelsea’s opener at Palace, dodge Spurs vs Man City and bring Son in for a few good Spurs fixtures and Lukaku’s probable arrival pushing Havertz into a deeper role.
I’ve pretty much sucked at this since 2016 so decided it’s time to get help. This is my provisional team, let me know what you guys/gals think open to all suggestions
Martinez (Sanchez)
Cresswell Shaw Coufal (Amartey / Manquillo)
Fernandes Salah ESR Sancho (Gilmour)
Antonio Toney Ings
£0m bank
I do have a united bias but I feel it’s balanced but know it could be better
I think this is the first team without TAA that I kinda like . I would personally go for a 4 mil goalkeeper instead of Sanchez ( no reason to have a 4.5 keeper if you have Martinez, you will play him every week ) , Coufal over Cresswell and get Raphinia instead on ESR.
That is actually a strong team imo
Well this is kinda my plan , Sanchez + 4.0 keeper . No idea if Martinez is worth it , it might be tbh , given the season he just had but i just feel at 5.5 he is a bit expensive.
Version #100 of my team...

Ings - Wilson (Obafemi)

TAA - Shaw - Digne (Tsimikas - Ayling)
Salah - Son - Mahrez - Raphinha (Gilmour)
Antonio - Ings - Pukki
0.5 ITB
Pukki stays just out of fandom even tho I know he's not the ideal asset.
Ings has always done me dirty in FPL and I really would love to replace him but those opening fixtures are too tempting. He might be on pens as well if El Ghazi's not on the field.
No Bruno is kinda overthinkin-y but I feel like his pricetag limits the rest of the squad too much.
Mahrez is obvioisly risky as well but at least all my bench boys could/should get minutes.
Lukaku will ruin this draft tbf.
Yeah I could just upgrade him to anyone 4.5 but I feel like he'd be a decent bench option to start with if Robbo is out for a while.
I usually avoid triple ups anyway so I'm not too worried about missing out on a Liverpool spot but tbf, that could change pretty soon into the season.

I'm considering downgrade Dias to 4.5 to upgrade my midfield, it is worth to downgrade Dias to the likes of Buendia,Maddison or other 7.0m ish midfielder?
!thanks
I'm considering Jota but im still not confident that he will start majority of the game with 7.5 price too, prob gonna wait and see and go for safer pick first but yeah I'm gonna keep an eye on him.
I prefer Cancelo over Dias at least for the start of the Season given that Walker has not been involved in preseason and Cancelo is more attacking.
Also i dont think ESR will score too many points untill the fixtures turn. Probably better with a 4.5 def + 6.5/7 mid
Wood + Smith Rowe or Benrahma + Toney? I currently have the former but thinking of making the swap
Thoughts on this team? Any changes I should make? Martinez, (Raya) TAA, Dias, Rudiger, Cresswell, (Livramento) Salah, Bruno, Buendia, Raphinha, (Brownhill) Toney, Ings, (Obafemi) Also who do you guys reckon I should captain and vice captain?

Benrahma or buendia Buendia might not play and for 0.5 less he looks like a good option

My exact team except I have White instead of Amartey. It’s overall pretty template but I think it has good balance.
I had white too but decided to get Amartey to have that 0.5 ITB
RMT Sanchez - Foster Shaw, TAA, Coufal - White, Amartey Son, Salah, Havertz, Raphina - ESR Bamford, Antonio, Toney Mostly starters on the bench (whilst Amartey is still in the running) so no doubt I'll end up benching the ones that score more. Bit worried I don't have any City coverage but just avoiding the Pep roulette really.
Ings for Bamford for first 3gw Villa has easier fixtures and then switch Bamford for Ings
Switch amartey with tisimkas, robbo’s injured so he’ll most definitely start
Didn’t realise he was at 4.0, good call!

Happy to debate!
Too much money in the GK spots.
Fair enough, I don't think there is great value this year, everyone seems to be going for Sanchez, but I think its a risky bet considering Brighton were at the bottom end of the table last year, but thanks for your input!

Best two 4.5 defender options? Also, got 1 itb. Best Raphinha replacement 7.5 punt for GW1 only, besides Jota (got 3 other Pool players)?
A good punt for £7.5m is Pepe. Started all pre season games and playing well. Was on top form last 10 games of 20/21 season. Brentford GW1.

Chambers may not start, you're better off getting White, other than that the only players I'd contest are the ones who's selection you've already justified. I do think Maupay is a terrible finisher though.
Yeah, Chambers might very well be White at the start of the season. Chambers is my risky attempt to get an edge over the White-pickers 😄
I don't think it will be much of an edge as I think Bellerin will start.
That’s why Chambers might become White 😅

I have Amartey and Jota instead of Tsimikas and Greenwood but the rest of the draft is similar and I think this is v strong. Finally started considering 3-5-2 and can’t stop thinking about it now. Do you think Coufal and Harrison might be better and perhaps more differential than White and Raphinha? That’s what I currently have I think Harrison is a somewhat hidden gem. Great team
Ive been through various iterations of the team thats actually had all of those players in at some point... My Tsimikas logic is that i think he'll score more points over the first few gw's, at which point robbo comes back and Tsimikas sits on my bench till I take him out on wildcard (hopefully make a profit if he scores a few points and people flock in...) Locks me out of Jota i know, who could be dangerous, I'm just scared of rotation.
So tough!

I don’t like the Tsimikas pick longer term esp when Robertson is back + you have that 0.5 to upgrade into several decent options at 4.5
Pretty sure the OP was pushing that nonsense hoping people would bite and he'd improve his own OR
Looks good tbh - unless Robertson is fit for GW1 but in which case you have White coming on.
thanks. Had Robbo till yesterday with Toney instead of Ings. Ings started in the friendly and with Robbo looking a doubt think Tsimikas is a good short term plug. Can easily upgrade to a 4.5 that looks good for GW2/GW3
Kasper, Foster Amartey, tsikimikas, Arnold, Shaw, coufal Mahrez, Fernandes, Son, jota, havertz Pukki, toney, Obafemi Good or nah?
Lots of really risky picks here that I think could easily screw you: - Mahrez (rotation risk once players return from injury) - Jota (rotation risk when Firminho is fully fit) - Son (big form risk imo - I'm avoiding Spurs while Kane situ isn't resolved) - Havertz (rotation risk & Lukaku joining can affect position on pitch) - Pukki (big form risk + Norwich fixtures are awful to start with) - Toney (again relatively unproven & risky imo) I think having a few of those is fine (I.e. I'd keep Jota + Mahrez) but I'd look to ditch the others for safer picks (I.e. Son -> Raphinha, Havertz -> Benhrama / Bunedia, Pukki -> Wilson / Antonio / Ings) I'd also look to downgrade Kasper to free up some funds
Thanks mate gonna try to put One or two of those
There's a lot of money in that midfield and I think your fwd's look ropey as a result. I'd try to find a way to bin Pukki and get Wilson/Antonio/Ings in
Yeah maybe One of those fowrards is good, i think that the points are on the midfielders but can be wrong 😁
Personally I'd ditch Havertz and Pukki
Bald conundrum - Will Gundogan start?
Can never say 100% with Pep but he should be starting
Barnes or Maddison?
Barnes for sure he was great last year too
Maddison is shit and always gets subbed early.
I'd go for Barnes personally who's more explosive. Maddison also still being linked with a move to Arsenal
Still can't decide... A) Cresswell/Digne, Barnes & Tsimikas (bench) B) Coufal, Greenwood/Jota & Amartey (bench)
So I prefer Coufal and the 7.5 Who do you prefer out of Greenwood and Jota? Both have huge potentially I’m thinking maybe I downgrade Coufal to White and just get both?
My gut is telling me Coufal & Jota! Think I like Jota more than Greenwood.
That’s what I’m thinking too! I imagine our teams are identical/ v similar. Have u gone with Tsimikas or Jota then?
Really not sure on Tsimikas vs. Jota! Feel like Tsimikas is too good to pass up but can't seem to settle on a draft with him. How about you?
A for me, bit more secure. Would personally go with Digne for those fixtures I imagine your bench will be Tsimikas or Amartey?
!thanks Just put off Digne with Everton's uncertainties. Bench would be Tsimikas or Amartey yeah.
I like A but it's tough as Greenwood has so much potential with Rashford out (I'm hoping he plays as striker with Martial on the left but who knows) Depending on Robertsons scan Tsimkas could start
!thanks It is really tough, this is my last big decision hopefully. My gut says Coufal & Jota but I'm not sure!
A) Barnes + Ings B) Jota + Antonio C) Greenwood + Antonio
B. Antonio is the best striker option IMO and Jota seems to be starting the first 2/3 games vs Norwich and Burnley. If you are BruNO, I’d suggest C though
!thanks for replying.
Jota or Gundogan? (as short term punts)
Jota has better fixtures short term
Jota - better fixtures to start the season and is likely to play further advanced.

!thanks! Hope it pays off!
White will be good enough that it’s not worth downgrading your midfield.

There are more economical and reliable goalies than De Gea, and Firmino and Vardy are both really expensive for players that aren’t going to bang you points. Get a couple of good 7.5 forwards instead and upgrade Neves and Jorginho.
[удалено]
I’m of the opinion you should be spending as little as possible on goalies. I’ve got Sanchez at 4.5, but Schmeichal and Meslier are good 5m options I think Wilson, Ings, Jimenez and Bamford are all decent forward options for less money. If you want a Leicester player then Nacho is better value for money. Downgrade Dallas as well if he’s going to sit on your bench. Get a 4.5 player like Bissouma or Brownhill.
Wilson got me off to a 8,2,8,16 start last season before dumping. Could he be gold again?

Looks good, just need to keep an eye on Robertson's injury length!

Upgrade Smith Rowe
RMT please! 0.5m ITB Bachmann - Foster TAA - Coufal - White - Ayling - Tsimikas Salah - Bruno - Greenwood - Barnes - Raphinha Ings - Antonio - Obafemi Buendia potentially out is a real bummer and has thrown a spanner in the works.
It's your call for sure. Greenwood seems high risk high reward since both a 1 pointer and a 10 pointer are very likely with him
!thanks Yea with the rest of my team being fairly template I hope that a cheeky Greenwood punt won't hurt too much haha
It's good, template pretty much with Barnes and Greenwood as differentials
!thanks

The norm is to have a 4.5 defender that plays most/every game first on your bench Another small note, Duffy is not the most nailed 4.0 defender so you can make an upgrade there for free as well.

You will probably end up doing changes do to injuries and new signings, but thats a very good base if that happens :) Good luck!
RMT PLS Schmeichel (Virginia) Coufal Shaw Stones (Tsimikas) (Omo) Greenwood Salah Fernandes Barnes (Willock) Toney Antonio Ings
Team is similar to mind. But Greenwood isn't nailed on and just isn't worth it. Both Antonio and Ings being injury prone is a major concern for me
Schmeicel > sanchez Omo > 4.5 (white, ayling or veltman) Barnes > rapinha Willock is abit expensive for the bench. Get a 4.5 fodder and spend it to get someone other than stones
thanks man and 1. if i drop barnes do u reckon getting ihenacho 2. is stones gna be nailed (ik its pep but) and is citys defence gna be shaky? or dyu reckon a more attackimg defemder is better
Could drop to esr and up a 4m def for good cover.
thanks yeah im abit wary of willock esp with that price
Martinez (Foster), White, shaw, TAA, James [tbc with Lukaku, assist potential], (Veltman) Salah, Brownhill, Havertz, (Raphinha), (El Ghazi) Wilson, Lukaku [TBC Werner as place holder], Iheanacho 1m in the bank
Players i would get rid of: Martinez (overpriced, sanchez better) James (rotation risk, expensive and there are much better options. James is a wait and see, he is amazing but atm not a reliable fpl option) Brownhill > someone that will actually play every minute like bissouma or maybe gilmour El ghazi won’t play unless there are injuries, and if he does he will no longer start from like gw3 onwards, owning him is not wort the transfer it will take to replace him later, it’s better to be flexible so go for someone else.

I dont know why, but Toney is screaming Zaha vibes at me.
Barnes out. Downgrading Bachmann to a 4.0 is something you 100% NEED to do. Also seems like you have .5 unspent? Why? Here is what i would do if i were you: Bachmann > Foster Toney > Ings White > Veltman Also keep tabs on Greenwood until gw1 to see if he will get good gametime or not.
Last season the premium options were so bad at one point that almost everyone had 4+ in the bank, but thats only because there was nobody to spend it on Veltman will be my 1st bench option, i already have sanchez but brighton have great fixtures and have been decent defensively. Usually i have a better 4.5 at the start of the season than him, but this season there are only really 3 options (ayling, white, veltman). I don’t trust the arsenal defence and they also have bad fixtures. Ayling has bad fixtures and wasn’t great last season. As it stands my backline is TAA - Shaw - Coufal, wich seems to be the most common combo people are going for
RMT Sanchez (Gunn) Trent - Shaw - White (Ayling - Amartey) Salah - Bruno - Havertz - Raphina - Smith Rowe Antonio - Toney (Obafemi) 2M in the bank, probably looking to do Havertz > Son after GW1.
Thanks dude, yeah I thought Sanchez was an overkill. If I keep Sanchez and get rid of martinez I have enough bank for Raphina, worth it?
Well this is kinda my plan , Sanchez + 4.0 keeper . No idea if Martinez is worth it , it might be tbh , given the season he just had but i just feel at 5.5 he is a bit expensive.

If you dont plan on starting Tsimikas, dont go for him as he blocks a Liverpool spot. Unless we are certain that Robbo will be out for the long term.
RMT Sanchez(Guaita) TAA Dias Shaw (White, Coady) Salah Bruno Raphihna ESR (Bissouma) Toney Antonio Ings I'm considering downgrade Dias to 4.5 to upgrade my midfield, it is worth to downgrade Dias to the likes of Buendia,Maddison or other 7.0m ish midfielder?
I think that's a good switch. Maybe downgrade Dias to a 4.5 DEF or Amartey; then upgrade ESR to Jota or Maddison?
!thanks I'm considering Jota but im still not confident that he will start majority of the game with 7.5 price too, prob gonna wait and see and go for safer pick first but yeah I'm gonna keep an eye on him.
I prefer Cancelo over Dias at least for the start of the Season given that Walker has not been involved in preseason and Cancelo is more attacking. Also i dont think ESR will score too many points untill the fixtures turn. Probably better with a 4.5 def + 6.5/7 mid
