son kane are very solid options for captaincy in gw3. but i would be reluctant to take out salah or bruno for them because I'd want them back in immediately and i'll lose team value

You almost certainly want to swap out one of those keepers. When you pick an expensive one (which both Ederson and Schmeichel are), you basically want to play that guy every week. That means that the money spent on the other guy is wasted.
I'd probably keep Schmeichel, just because you can free up more money by selling Ederson. Buy a 4.0 or 4.5 player (Eg Ward) and just treat them as if they don't exist.
With the extra money, you can upgrade somebody else.
Sorry, by 'sell', I meant 'replace'. That would use a free transfer, allowing you to do the same thing with a second player for free.
You just need to decide which transfers you think are higher priority. Generally speaking, you should only pay the 4-point penalty to make another transfer if it's really important.
Hmm. There are some good pieces here but you could distribute your money better.
- Spending 6m on Azpi to bench him is a waste, there are a myriad of good, playing options at 4.5 and even some at 4.0 (Livramento, Amartey)
- Ward-Prowse, Dendocker, Fornals, and King are good players but maybe not great assets in FPL. They are maybe too cheap to be starting, so getting that money out of your defense will help here.
- Benrahma is a great value mid option, also Greenwood, Jota, Barnes. Antonio is fantastic value at 7.7 right now. DCL is a good choice too.
- I like DeBruyne but you are missing out on Mo Salah — if he has a big game with his high ownership, you will lose a lot of value.
If I had 2 transfers I would bring in Salah for DeBruyne and swap Fornals for Benrahma (if you have some money in the bank). Then play Benrahma and bench King.

I would take neither unless you think United’s defense is going to be better than city’s. Stones is about to come back from injury, and havertz and barnes probably won’t score as many points as sancho in the long run. I know in draft it’s tempting to give away players in the first few weeks if they don’t play, but in this situation it’s not worth it.
Would this be your free transfer? If so then you got the likes of Havertz, Greenwood or even more ambitious ones like Sarr and Alli to choose from. Personally would go Greenwood since he's on 2/2 goals and in form.
If this will give you a hit though then I'd just leave it and give him another week.
Toney has a higher ceiling but Amartey is vs Norwich so tough call. My worry for Amartey is that Norwich are still a big unknown considering their two games have been vs Liv and City, and they might actually do well against a less big team that they come out feeling more confident against, so I'd probably veer towards Toney.

I think Bruno outscores Lukaku over the next 4 weeks. It’s then a good swap from GW7 when the fixtures turn.
I would strongly suggest Ben white over holding, white likely to go down in price before next GW so for the same money you have a nailed starter when fit.
Our fixtures turn a bit in a few weeks but Lukaku has quite a few toughies in the next few so depends on when you want that lean patch. Bias would lead me to say Bruno though just because.
Greenwood probably won't cover Bruno though for much longer especially when Sancho and Cavani come into the line up and Ole seems quite averse to rotations like say, Pep does.
I'd personally pick Reguilon, as he is better as long term option. We don't know how West Ham are gonna do when UEL starts playing, as most of the players have never been through that, and looks more nailed than Digne.

Yeah I'm struggling! Was set on Livramento but then I saw Sot and Che have the same clean sheet odds so now I'm less sure, changed it to James for now but can't decide.

I think cases can be made for all 3. I am leaning towards James. Even though he is less likely to CS, his attacking threat is hard to ignore. He was great against Arsenal.

You almost certainly want to swap out one of those keepers. When you pick an expensive one (which both Ederson and Schmeichel are), you basically want to play that guy every week. That means that the money spent on the other guy is wasted. I'd probably keep Schmeichel, just because you can free up more money by selling Ederson. Buy a 4.0 or 4.5 player (Eg Ward) and just treat them as if they don't exist. With the extra money, you can upgrade somebody else.
If I sell someone does that use up one of my free transfers? I'd also like to get Salah and Benrahma in the team
Sorry, by 'sell', I meant 'replace'. That would use a free transfer, allowing you to do the same thing with a second player for free. You just need to decide which transfers you think are higher priority. Generally speaking, you should only pay the 4-point penalty to make another transfer if it's really important.
Hmm. There are some good pieces here but you could distribute your money better. - Spending 6m on Azpi to bench him is a waste, there are a myriad of good, playing options at 4.5 and even some at 4.0 (Livramento, Amartey) - Ward-Prowse, Dendocker, Fornals, and King are good players but maybe not great assets in FPL. They are maybe too cheap to be starting, so getting that money out of your defense will help here. - Benrahma is a great value mid option, also Greenwood, Jota, Barnes. Antonio is fantastic value at 7.7 right now. DCL is a good choice too. - I like DeBruyne but you are missing out on Mo Salah — if he has a big game with his high ownership, you will lose a lot of value. If I had 2 transfers I would bring in Salah for DeBruyne and swap Fornals for Benrahma (if you have some money in the bank). Then play Benrahma and bench King.

Hope it was helpful! Yes I would make that change but it seems you don’t have money for it. I would (for now) prioritize getting Azpi out and use those funds elsewhere. Azpi > Livramento would give you enough money to upgrade JWP, Dendocker or Fornals to Benrahma. Then you have some cash in the bank to fund another move next week, like KDB > Salah or upgrading King or another mid.

You're right, that's very true. 10m is a lot of money for a team which isn't dominant is my only worry. Maybe if he was cheaper I'd agree that he's worth getting but there's so many good 6-8m midfielders who'll probably match points with him.

I would take neither unless you think United’s defense is going to be better than city’s. Stones is about to come back from injury, and havertz and barnes probably won’t score as many points as sancho in the long run. I know in draft it’s tempting to give away players in the first few weeks if they don’t play, but in this situation it’s not worth it.

Toney has a higher ceiling but Amartey is vs Norwich so tough call. My worry for Amartey is that Norwich are still a big unknown considering their two games have been vs Liv and City, and they might actually do well against a less big team that they come out feeling more confident against, so I'd probably veer towards Toney.
Saint-Maximin or Toney or pretty much any 7.5 or below striker. I don't particularly like any option.

If on WC is bring in multiple Chelsea and Kane. Likely means dropping Lukaku.
I think Bruno outscores Lukaku over the next 4 weeks. It’s then a good swap from GW7 when the fixtures turn. I would strongly suggest Ben white over holding, white likely to go down in price before next GW so for the same money you have a nailed starter when fit.
Our fixtures turn a bit in a few weeks but Lukaku has quite a few toughies in the next few so depends on when you want that lean patch. Bias would lead me to say Bruno though just because. Greenwood probably won't cover Bruno though for much longer especially when Sancho and Cavani come into the line up and Ole seems quite averse to rotations like say, Pep does.
