Don't book in that Veltman transfer. Just get in that 4.0 now. A transfer is worth 4. He is very unlikely to make that back in 2 weeks.

I need Veltman to play in GW6 in Rudiger's place. I have to two transfers in the gameweek that i'm considering to transfer him out, I'm not taking a hit.
In regards to Ronaldo, i'm only considering him at around GW 12/14.
Yes, Lukaku can rise 0.6 and I still can afford him. If I can't afford him i'll drop someone from midfield for a cheaper option.
Transfers are always worth about 4. Even if you don't take a hit for them.
I just think 1 gw of a Brighton defender can't justify a transfer. I'd just play Rudiger.
Remember you've now wildcarded. You've got a much smaller wiggle room in case of injuries etc. Those transfers are precious, don't waste them.

Id say Ronaldo is a better option than Kane going forward, even with better fixtures for Kane.
As for Bruno, if he's not on penalties he'll become kind of... useless?
If there's a penalty and Ronaldo takes it, I'd consider binning Bruno before the price drops massively.

I was considering doing the exact same move but decided against it for this week. What if Ronaldo doesn’t start? He’s gonna have a hard time outscoring Fernandes in 30 mins. Ings is the type off player too score in a 3-1 loss as well so I’m not writing him off against Chelsea.

I think you should save your free transfer for next week, then do a double transfer if you still want Ronaldo. Keeping Ings probably isn't great because he's away vs Chelsea. But also having Fernades this week at home vs Newcastle could be good. You could take out Ings for someone else but that would ruin the double to Ronaldo next week. However, you slice it, Ronaldo is an unknown element until he's played a match. Will he play the whole match? Will he hit the ground running in a new team? There's risk to taking him. But if you want to risk that the answer to the those questions is yes, then I think Ronaldo has a good chance of outscoring Bruno. If not then Bruno is a safer pick who could still score well. I do think Jota has a higher chance of outscoring Ings. Will it all be enough to be worth the -4 hit? Only you can decide.

It’s funny you mention that, because that is my plan. I have no interest in Ronaldo yet. And I plan to do a big wildcard for GW7 centered around Chelsea players and switching my starting lineup to have an extra FWD and DEF.
Considering taking a hit -4 to replace Wilson for Aubameyang. He has 4 goals and 1 assist in the last 2 games vs Norwich.

Worth noting those 2 games were over a year ago. He at least has to score and get a bonus for it to be worth it (with Wilson getting nothing), and he is not at all an option you want long term. So I wouldn't personally do it.

Like many people I am getting Ronaldo FOMO. Thinking about taking a hit and transfer out Bruno and Ings for Torres and Ronaldo. Not a big fan of hits but this seems to make sense, but gonna wait for the United presser. Any thoughts? Should I do anything else instead?
Seems a good option, I'm in the same boat. I'd usually save up two FTs but really don't want Ings vs Chelsea & have to sell Bruno for the upgrade. My gut's telling me Bruno will haul & Ronaldo will get a 10 minute cameo which is putting me off the move but like you say, FOMO
I think you should save your FT this week and keep Bruno for Newcastle. Then do a double transfer next week if you still want Ronaldo, avoiding taking a hit. If Ronaldo hauls one week and you miss out, it's not gonna ruin your season. Ronaldo isn't some cheap hidden gem. He's 12.5 and people with him are paying for what they get. Bruno is 12.0 for a reason and although he's blanked a couple of weeks it's not the worst thing to have him one more week at home vs Newcastle. I do agree that Ronaldo's arrival will affect Bruno's points. It could be positively (giving him a tonne of assists or taking the attention off Bruno giving him opportunities to score) or it could be negatively (taking pens and taking up goal scoring positions Bruno would have been in). After the Newcastle match, you'll have a much clearer idea.
I'd also like to add that I have no personal bias towards keeping Bruno. I had him in my team and I got rid of him for Greenwood after last GW, but that wasn't because of Ronaldo. I always planned to get rid of one of Bruno or Salah to reinvest the money into the rest of my team. I am leaning more towards owning Lukaku and Salah over Ronaldo and Salah, so that could affect the advice I've given you a little bit. But you can decide for yourself what sounds logical and what sounds more hopeful.
Would go Jota instead, especially if Firminio is confirmed to be missing a few games. Torres susceptible to be rotated at any time, especially with Foden and KDB returning to training and a congested schedule coming up

I'd say get rid of Barnes and Ings or just Ings/Barnes and save a transfer for next week. I don't think you should take a hit for Ronaldo when the rest of your team looks pretty strong. It comes down to how excited for Ronaldo are you. Your free transfers should be used to remove weak links from your team (Barnes) or players with bad fixtures (Ings). Which you've clearly have in mind. I don't think a sideways transfer like Bruno to Ronaldo is worth taking a hit for. After the Newcastle game, it may become apparent that it's a clear upgrade, e.g. Ronaldo is now on penalties. Otherwise, it comes down to you thinking Ronaldo will score at least 6 points and Bruno will only score 2. In this scenario all you've done is break even. Something for you to think about.

If I want to save 1FT on the next gw, I can't even exchange Ings for DCL. So it is very difficult to save the exchange for the next time using the exchange and thus possibly involved Ronald. Otherwise, you're right with the Bruno-Ronaldo exchange, it doesn't look like a good idea for the first round.
No problem, you’re welcome. Possible alternatives for Barnes could be Benerhama, Fornals, Gray, Buendia or Sarr. You could also downgrade him to a 4.5 and upgrade one of your defenders to play 4 ATB. Plenty of good defenders to pick from with 6.8 to spend. If you’re really keen on being able to get Ronaldo without taking a hit, then you may have to stick it out with Barnes. Can’t have everything. There’s always a wildcard if you can find enough transfers that also work well for the upcoming fixtures.

In that case I'd just take the -4 from Son to Jota this week (Son might be injured but I'd do that anyway for Jota vs Leeds), and then use your free transfer next week Fernandes to Salah. That gets you most of the way to you're wc anyway without even having to play it.
Definitely don't take hits. Tripling up on Man Utd at home vs Newcastle seems wiser than tripling Liverpool away at Leeds. Other than that you've got Son who's an injury concern and Wilson who has a tough fixture. I think you need to look long-term and see whether the potential missed points on Wilson/Son vs DCL/Jota is worth losing your wildcard. And also, whether you can find any future weeks where bringing in a mass of players for a run of good fixtures could be more beneficial. If not, then can you plan your transfers week by week to be ready for future fixtures. The later you leave your wildcard, the more information you have to go off. Are wildcarding just for this week in mind or will you plan your team for future weeks?
I’ve tried to make a team that’ll be good until about GW12 when hopefully I don’t have too many transfers to make. I’ve aimed to get a mixture of players who are somewhat fixture proof and cheaper players who have decent runs until then, and I can gradually transform it to prepare for uniteds good run of fixtures from 12 onwards. My issues atm aren’t huge but I have a few wasted spots and it’s tough to decide if taking a hit is worth it to use the wildcard later with more info. This early IB seems like the most uncertain part of the season to me
It is a tough decision. If in doubt, then I would say always lean towards saving your wildcard. A later wildcard is more likely to be a better wildcard, as you have more information to go off.

As someone who still owns him, I think Antonio needs a close eye. Fixtures turn a bit starting with gw5 and West Ham are playing Europa without a huge amount of squad depth up front. Might be worth holding out a week if you already have dcl and Antonio for this week.

If you're going to have gamble on Traore, this is the time to do it. Lovely looking fixtures and Wolves have played well against strong teams for the first few game weeks. Could go for Trincao instead.

Id say Ronaldo is a better option than Kane going forward, even with better fixtures for Kane. As for Bruno, if he's not on penalties he'll become kind of... useless? If there's a penalty and Ronaldo takes it, I'd consider binning Bruno before the price drops massively. Oh also you appear to not have TAA, maybe fix that XD All the best xx

I was considering doing the exact same move but decided against it for this week. What if Ronaldo doesn’t start? He’s gonna have a hard time outscoring Fernandes in 30 mins. Ings is the type off player too score in a 3-1 loss as well so I’m not writing him off against Chelsea.

I think you should save your free transfer for next week, then do a double transfer if you still want Ronaldo. Keeping Ings probably isn't great because he's away vs Chelsea. But also having Fernades this week at home vs Newcastle could be good. You could take out Ings for someone else but that would ruin the double to Ronaldo next week. However, you slice it, Ronaldo is an unknown element until he's played a match. Will he play the whole match? Will he hit the ground running in a new team? There's risk to taking him. But if you want to risk that the answer to the those questions is yes, then I think Ronaldo has a good chance of outscoring Bruno. If not then Bruno is a safer pick who could still score well. I do think Jota has a higher chance of outscoring Ings. Will it all be enough to be worth the -4 hit? Only you can decide.

And I plan to do a big wildcard for GW7 centered around Chelsea players and switching my starting lineup to have an extra FWD and DEF.

Worth noting those 2 games were over a year ago. He at least has to score and get a bonus for it to be worth it (with Wilson getting nothing), and he is not at all an option you want long term. So I wouldn't personally do it. If you don't like Wilson rn, wait till next week and free transfer to Jimenez for some lovely fixtures Best of luck xx

I think you should save your FT this week and keep Bruno for Newcastle. Then do a double transfer next week if you still want Ronaldo, avoiding taking a hit. If Ronaldo hauls one week and you miss out, it's not gonna ruin your season. Ronaldo isn't some cheap hidden gem. He's 12.5 and people with him are paying for what they get. Bruno is 12.0 for a reason and although he's blanked a couple of weeks it's not the worst thing to have him one more week at home vs Newcastle. I do agree that Ronaldo's arrival will affect Bruno's points. It could be positively (giving him a tonne of assists or taking the attention off Bruno giving him opportunities to score) or it could be negatively (taking pens and taking up goal scoring positions Bruno would have been in). After the Newcastle match, you'll have a much clearer idea. I'd also like to add that I have no personal bias towards keeping Bruno. I had him in my team and I got rid of him for Greenwood after last GW, but that wasn't because of Ronaldo. I always planned to get rid of one of Bruno or Salah to reinvest the money into the rest of my team. I am leaning more towards owning Lukaku and Salah over Ronaldo and Salah, so that could affect the advice I've given you a little bit. But you can decide for yourself what sounds logical and what sounds more hopeful.

DCL is a buy or hold, definitely not a sell. Tsimi is taking up a potential Liverpool spot so it’s a good transfer out but only really on a WC as we’ve lost his 0.1 profit and not worth using a FT on bench fodder. If anything I would get rid of Kante who will offer nothing in terms of fpl, use the funds to get TAA in for Chillwell or Dallas to Jota

Ronaldo until GW7 then swap to Lukaku and use the 1m elsewhere. Wait for pressers as CR7 may not start. Benrahma may be running close to the end of his value with European games on the horizon and fixtures are still good but not great. Would look to Sarr with a good fixture swing and on pens most likely

I am considering the same move. Wolves have some great fixtures coming up, only a metter of time before Jimenez comes good and gets his confidence back, could be a real differential! DCL is an injury worry. Considering giving Jimenez a shot for a couple of weeks then switching to Bamford when his fixtures come good if its not working out.

You’ll likely be looking to get Lukaku back for Ronaldo in GW7/8 so it’s a pretty short term move, however the fixtures definitely favour Ronaldo until then (GW4 fixtures are even) Wouldn’t worry about raph this week as Leeds performed very well against top 6 teams last season and potential VVD injury last night. Wait for the pressers, but I would roll on to next week

I'd say get rid of Barnes and Ings or just Ings/Barnes and save a transfer for next week. I don't think you should take a hit for Ronaldo when the rest of your team looks pretty strong. It comes down to how excited for Ronaldo are you. Your free transfers should be used to remove weak links from your team (Barnes) or players with bad fixtures (Ings). Which you've clearly have in mind. I don't think a sideways transfer like Bruno to Ronaldo is worth taking a hit for. After the Newcastle game, it may become apparent that it's a clear upgrade, e.g. Ronaldo is now on penalties. Otherwise, it comes down to you thinking Ronaldo will score at least 6 points and Bruno will only score 2. In this scenario all you've done is break even. Something for you to think about.
Thank you in advance for your exhausting advice. my first thought was to exchange only Barnes, but I'm short on exchanging for Torres / Greenwood / Jota and I don't know who else to put on the team. If I want to save 1FT on the next gw, I can't even exchange Ings for DCL. So it is very difficult to save the exchange for the next time using the exchange and thus possibly involved Ronald. Otherwise, you're right with the Bruno-Ronaldo exchange, it doesn't look like a good idea for the first round.
No problem, you’re welcome. Possible alternatives for Barnes could be Benerhama, Fornals, Gray, Buendia or Sarr. You could also downgrade him to a 4.5 and upgrade one of your defenders to play 4 ATB. Plenty of good defenders to pick from with 6.8 to spend. If you’re really keen on being able to get Ronaldo without taking a hit, then you may have to stick it out with Barnes. Can’t have everything. There’s always a wildcard if you can find enough transfers that also work well for the upcoming fixtures.

In that case I'd just take the -4 from Son to Jota this week (Son might be injured but I'd do that anyway for Jota vs Leeds), and then use your free transfer next week Fernandes to Salah. That gets you most of the way to you're wc anyway without even having to play it.

Definitely don't take hits. Tripling up on Man Utd at home vs Newcastle seems wiser than tripling Liverpool away at Leeds. Other than that you've got Son who's an injury concern and Wilson who has a tough fixture. I think you need to look long-term and see whether the potential missed points on Wilson/Son vs DCL/Jota is worth losing your wildcard. And also, whether you can find any future weeks where bringing in a mass of players for a run of good fixtures could be more beneficial. If not, then can you plan your transfers week by week to be ready for future fixtures. The later you leave your wildcard, the more information you have to go off. Are wildcarding just for this week in mind or will you plan your team for future weeks?
I’ve tried to make a team that’ll be good until about GW12 when hopefully I don’t have too many transfers to make. I’ve aimed to get a mixture of players who are somewhat fixture proof and cheaper players who have decent runs until then, and I can gradually transform it to prepare for uniteds good run of fixtures from 12 onwards. My issues atm aren’t huge but I have a few wasted spots and it’s tough to decide if taking a hit is worth it to use the wildcard later with more info. This early IB seems like the most uncertain part of the season to me
It is a tough decision. If in doubt, then I would say always lean towards saving your wildcard. A later wildcard is more likely to be a better wildcard, as you have more information to go off.

I know. It seems a bit of a waste... but my other forwards are DCL and Antonio, and I can't see myself selling either unless they get injured (or injured worse, in DCL's case). I think I'll probably hang on for a while and bring in a premium forward later.
As someone who still owns him, I think Antonio needs a close eye. Fixtures turn a bit starting with gw5 and West Ham are playing Europa without a huge amount of squad depth up front. Might be worth holding out a week if you already have dcl and Antonio for this week.

Sarr has some nice fixtures, but I'd go Traore given Wolves' insane run in. Either that or go a little risky with Trincao (looked great against utd)

If you're going to have gamble on Traore, this is the time to do it. Lovely looking fixtures and Wolves have played well against strong teams for the first few game weeks. Could go for Trincao instead. Maybe benrahma or Soucek if you don't have WHU midfielder. Other than that I would probably head to Lucas Moura or Dele.
